Hello VStanced peopple!
My name's snowyy and I live on the outskirts of poland's biggest city - Warsaw. I've recently passed my driving exam and since I had gathered up like 20000V$ I started looking for a good 1st car. There were a couple of nice cars, like a k20 swapped eg6 or a e39 540i touring but in the end something a bit different caught my eye. It was this: A 1990 BMW E30 with a M50B25 swapped into the place of the original 1.6l M40 You may ask: but wait, a 2.5l engine in your first car? Won't the insurance be sky high? You see, in the papers this car still has the 1.6l and so the insurance company thinks this is a 1.6l not a 2.5 Quick specsheet: mts coilovers in front and mts -20mm springs in the back, rebarreled style 15's off of a e32 with some shitty-ass tires on them. There is some minor rust on the fenders which I'll be taking the care of in the following days. Oh and if you're wondering why the front in the first pictures is higher than in the rest the reason for that is I couldn't wait and I nearly bottomed the coils out in front as the rear has only lowering springs ;-; Peacee |

Welcome man! E30 as a first is awesome, and that M50 engine is awesome platform to do things on.
Can't wait to see what you gonna do it with as I always liked E30's! Welcome to the bimmerfam! |

Ayy nice E30! Hopefully it didn't come with any free weight reduction haha.. Little tip, check the boot (or trunk) pockets since those like to rust and just fall out. Good engine you've got in there too btw. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

I'm probably either keep it static and get them low low's you know what I'm sayin'? # R G T : Ayy nice E30! Hopefully it didn't come with any free weight reduction haha.. Little tip, check the boot (or trunk) pockets since those like to rust and just fall out. Good engine you've got in there too btw. Can't wait to see what you do with it.Thank youu! I checked those spots right when I read your tip, they are 95% rust free, just very small spots that I will take care of too. |

Welcome to the RP world my man!
An E30 as a first car is a classy choice, let alone a swapped one! Good luck on tuning it! |

# Sleepin mOnkey : NA is cool but if you are all about that response go Supercharger pluds you get that sound check my 86 for exampletbh I go by a logic where I'd add a supercharger only to a V-shape engine and a turbo to everything else |

# Snowyy : tbh I go by a logic where I'd add a supercharger only to a V-shape engine and a turbo to everything else Actually, superchargers on inlines are kinda better than on vees because they allow for simple and cheaper intercooler systems but it's your car From someone with two 350+hp I4's one turbo and one SC the feel and experience of the Sc is more enjoyable at hard driving like racing on circuits and the touge but for daily especially in Japan the turbo is better cuz MPG's and noise so its a matter of choice or you can go crazy and get both If you come to Japan one day il be glad to let you experience both |

Okayy quick rp uptade on what has happened in those couple of days. First of all my baby has new shoes! They're BBS LM's that had been widened by the previous owner. I just bought new tires for them. Next, I went to my local parts store and got the kidneys with ///M belts on them, yellow foil for the inner headlights and foglights, hella 3000 rally lamps and nice covers for them, mtech 1 replica spoiler, a tsurikawa, a gearknob with ///M belts embeded into it amd finally a cone air filter and a gold-ish spray for the headcover. In total they costed me 611V$. I then went to get my mate to make me a custom-ish exhaust that was pretty much a 3.5" pipe with some bends. I paid him 500V$ and now the engine has a nice purr to it and if I am lucky it also pops! The next day my priority packages from the uk came. They consisted of a wooden nardi + an adapter to make it fit, a bride seat along with the mounting rails, ke70 mirrors which I mounted on the front fenders and the best part - rear windshield louvers. Now all the car needs is a tune and possibly better coilovers. Oh and I did fix the rustspots, thankfully there weren't many of them so I fixed them in one evening.
and here you can see how hard it is for me to daily drive this thing because of the lowlow's |

Mmmmm yeah that's low and fresh!
You might want to stretch a bit into airbags for daily usage, but if you can't afford them some coilovers works as well |
