GRIGIO TELESTO!

so its been about 2 weeks the r34 has been off to paint. and the paintshop called me saying its done! here it is!

the color is actually an OEM lamborghini grey (dont ask how a japanese paintshop has it in stock). i had other ideas in mind but they themselves sort of convinced me to go this color rip

Driving her back to the garage...with no number plates (thank god i didnt get pulled over)

I'd say this is how i wanted the car. just a good looking fun daily. time to move to a car soon maybe

Finances:
V$11,255+940(2weeks pay)- 1500
= V$ 10,695

BIG ASS UPDATE HERE WE GO

*ABOUT 4 MONTHS LATER*

Nothing special or noteworthy had happened. just driving the r34 normally around town. not much action, not much excitement.

UNTIL NOW.

Sooo a few of my friends managed to convince to take the R34 to Ebisu. it did take a lotta damn convincing but in the end, i accepted. and then absolute SENT IT.

Literally was full sending it through Ebisu Minami course. Seems like my skills from parking lot skids have somehow added up lol. and the car held up well for about 2 hours of straight drifting. well 2 hours only.

DEATH OF LE RB20

i was taking a turn at moderate speeds, exception being i took it a lower gear than usual. i heard a bit of a noise. the engine cut off, rear wheels locked up, i spun 180 degrees twice and into a wall. Thank god the speed was low enough to not heavily damage the car or injure me

the engine started smoking, the front bumper is basically dead. and one headlight broke. seemed to be repairable and no frame damage fingers crossed. i tried to start it, but it made a very ugly noise so i didnt try harder. We pushed the car to the pits, and i borrowed a compression tester that a fellow driver had brought along. Cylinder 1,3 and 4 have failed. really low compression compared to the other three cylinders.

What caused the engine to fail is still a mystery. maybe the previous owner did something wrong? idk. well after all that we had the car towed over to the garage, and then pulled the engine too. Here she sat for 3-4 days. awaiting a new heart.

And then uhm

NEW ENGINE TIME!

Could not bear to see my car just sitting there begging for help for too long. SOOOO

RB25DET!

Came across a fairly good deal of a halfbuilt RB25DET Long block. previous owner lost financial support halfway through the build. in terms of mods, it has RB26 rocker covers and HKS intake and exhaust cams. stock block though. Needs a turbo kit, plenum, radiator and a dyno tune to run if im not wrong

fairly easy process to put it in car so we did that the same day too

i should have it running within a fairly short time because im really motivated to get this thing on the road again.
thats that for the update today. oh also
*cough* im looking at another car too OwO

Finances:
V$ 10,695+8,400 (4months paycheck) -2000(engine)-95(towing)
= V$ 17,000

you can't just skip through time like that....I don't get how people can't get it? Roleplay is done in real time.

So. Freaking. True.

Seriously now , I 100% agree with skip. You can't just time travel. Why did you have to flop out an update like this ? It was a huge mistake , but anyway , it's your RP , your rules. I'd suggest you to never do that again , but it's up to you man. :hanging: :headbang: :wtf:

Skip and Erwin, i only did it to sort of get the ball rolling. because lets be honest my roleplay was getting really boring. however yes this is a one time thing only. wont do it again. dont expect me to skip one year everytime im low on money lmao i know its gonna get me banned if i do that

Yes , I understand that , but if you run out of content to upload then dont upload for a couple of days! There's no point in skipping time in order to get some more content. Either way , if I'd be you , I'd upload onve a couple of days and make a big update every time. But hey , it's your RP so do whatever you want.

I BOUGHT ANOTHER P.O.S.

This just happened!

Its a 1999 Honda Civic EK hatchback. and quite a hilarious example at that. Now with the (somewhat) Championship white paint and all the type R badges and bits you may think this is a sort of a junkyard Type R that i just rescued

S I K E

Under the hood is a barely running Honda D16 engine. idk maybe 90hp? didnt even floor it on the way back because it may just die
seems that the previous owner did a somewhat acceptable job on the interior though (with what seems like all replica parts)

Got some good plans for this car all in good time!

PARTS TRIP DAY

so i got on the phone with the owner of local garage, and we came to agreement on a buy-and-sell deal (he had things i need, i had things he needs)
Removed all the parts from both cars that need replacing (including the civics SOHC engine, more on that below)

R34 got its full bodykit removed too (more on that below as well)

All the spare parts i had were basically put it into a friends van and taken to the garage, and returned to my garage with new parts. agreed to pay the fuel expenses for my friend

CHANGES TO CIVIC

SOLD:-
-D16 SOHC engine
-Old front bumper the car came with

BOUGHT:-
-Si front bumper+lip
-Type R sideskirts
-Type R wing
-Hardware to bolt up my falling off mirror and headlight
-A K20A2 ENGINE!

dropping the K20 in shouldnt be a hard process so i hope it'll be in soon

CHANGES TO R34

SOLD:-
-Full OEM bodykit that it came with
-GTR rear bumper
-Z tune sideskirts
-Z tune hood
-Replica roof spoiler
-old failing RB20DET

BOUGHT:-
-URAS front bumper and sideskirts
-Dmax hood
-Z tune rear bumper
-URAS drag style wing

Wasnt really liking the URAS rear bumper. think it looks a bit too agressive for me. hence some mix and matching on the rear end.

Just waiting for all the engine parts on this car now OwO

Finances:
V$ 14,800+2250(sum of parts sold of r34)+1200 (sum of parts sold for civic)
= V$ 18,250

V$ 18,050- 1250(R34 bodykit)- 1650 (Civic body parts and engine)
Total V$ remaining = 15350

CIVIC GETS RUNNING GEAR OVERHAUL!

Small parts trip day today. took a trip to an UPgarage about 45mins away, Got used Tein Circuit Master pro N1 coilovers, and also a set of used wilwood 4 piston brakes with 275mm discs in fairly good condition. along with some brake fluid to actually make the brakes work lol

Came back home, put the car on Jacks, removed the steelies, and got to work

After installing them on all sides and bleeding the brakes, i took a powernap at the garage, then went to off to pick up my new wheels!

They're 16" Rota Slipstreams(used about 2months) with fairly well condition Advan tires. Finally, the civic now sits nicely!
(dont hose me bc they're replicas pls thx)

The car now just needs some engine and radiator fluids for its first start (since its really stock everything apart from the ITB's). im gonna get it somewhat drivable and send it straight to the paintshop

Finances:
V$ 14,750+ 250x2 (mentions in other threads)+ 525(weekly pay)
= V$ 15,775

V$ 15,775- 550(wheels)-825(brakes)-400(coilovers)

= V$ 14,000

IT'S ALIVE!

Bought about 5 quarts of Mobil 1 5w30 engine oil, and some radiator coolant for the civic today. also a friend had a stock civic exhaust lying around in his garage, so i took it off him temporarily so the car doesnt sound like an elephant

And as expected, upon filling the oil and coolant in, the car started in about 2 tries!
SHE RUNS BOIS!

with that, i took off straight to the paintshop. didnt floor it because it doesnt have a good tune yet, leaving that for after its painted
