C-resurREXion!

Spent these past 3 almost 4 weeks finishing C-REX, wiring, bringing the front end back together, A/C system recharging blah blah. I'm just so happy it's running. And BOIIIII is it fun! I missed it so muchh! This car really is a breathe of fresh air after having to make do with an econobox sedan for my everyday commute.

First McDonald's trip in almost a year!

Come 2 weeks after, when the engine had been broken-in and the final road tune had been set, I finally took the car out for its first proper touge run! YASSSSS :bananajump:

Pre-run checks. Oil, coolant, ignition, AFR, spark, the usual.

Hmmm where's the battery? It's just right in here.

Departure:

MAAAAAAANNN this little pocket rocket feels so much better now! N/A is literally the perfect choice for C-REX, more so a high-revving built B18C!

Retuned the shocks to match the road conditions, the car has never performed this well, also thanks to those Spoon brakes and new Energy bushings.

Now that the mods are done and the car is running at its peak, time for dyno! (OORP: Does anyone out there know of any good maps that have a dyno? TIA!) IT'S TIME FOR MORE MODS YO! HUE.

Finances:
V$19,470 + (V$655 x 3 weeks paycheck) = V$21,435

Damn CREX being busting alived! You could add better seats(because you adding more powerful engine, factory seat let you slipping your ass over place), maybe add some gauges?

Ahh, I'm glad you went back to the roots with NA engine, you made even better choice and went with B18 instead of B16, civic looks better than ever, even tho I miss your old wheels.

CAR PARTS GET!!

Brought Kate (The Lovely EK8) with me to pick up some parts for C-REX, here are some montage photos!

Unfortunately, yes, I crashed Kate. While maneuvering the car through a ramp I curbed the bumper badly. What can I say, it was a steep ramp.

I did get her fixed a few days after though. I even bought her an EK9 Type-R front lip rep, 3,500 yen (V$35)!

More updates on both Kate and C-REX coming soon!

Finances:
V$21,435 - V$35 = V$21,400

AND SO IT BEGINS!

Kate has been bitten by the mod bug! Changes aren't too drastic... Yet. As the header picture states, it's now currently sporting an OEM+ Look, rolling on EK4 Civic VTi Wheels, wrapped in regular Kumho Ecsta PS31s, whole set was 19,000 yen (V$190). She now has Used Skunk2 Lowering Springs that I got for 15,000 yen (V$150) from Yellow Hat. And she's also wearing an EK9 Civic Type-R Front Lip Rep as previously mentioned.

Before pics:

After Pics:

Finances:
V$21,400 - V$190 - V$150 = V$21,060
