About me...
My name is Tom, nickname as Zoom. I'm 24 and I'm working at body repair shop garage, my job role to replace damaged parts. My paycheck use be every Monday. I was 13 as I starting become teen, I love to saving money and I help other people like, do garden, cleaning car, house work, etc till I finish my college (quite bit struggle because my English wasn't good) and starting join body repair garage job till now, I has been saving to 20,000 V$. I was bored and I wanted to get car.

I remember I was kid, I saw on car books (yea plus Max Power, where is half naked ladies there. :D ) about S Chassis, I being fall love it. I dream to own S13 because I love pop up headlight and good looking car. I knew today price would be rough about 10,000 V$ road legal S13 so, I live Hove, UK it mean it call "200sx". UK spec you get 1.8 liter turbo (CA18DET) for only S13 but later on S14 and S15 get SR20DET.

I was strolling on car sales website like Gumtree, eBay, auto trader, etc. I found cheap 200sx for 1,220 V$ but it still bidding, anything it went over 2,000 V$, I would walk off because it need welding done and sorting out MOT.

This photo came from: *LINK* .

Seller said it have problem:
> Corrosion sills.
> Exterior some rust started on boot, front wing and rear arch.
> It has problem with clutch release making slight noise.
> It got crack front windscreen passenger side.
> Some paint show wearing off.

It has been sitting outside for about 8 years and it need some love. Hopeful I could buy this car less than 2,000 V$. Give them good welding, respray, and refresh fluids and service (or maybe I swap engine?).

Anything idea to that 200sx to become something like sleeper, drift, or track car, etc?

I think I went too much price for 200sx...

I was final bidded 2,000 V$ near ending but other guy bidded 2,500 V$, my mind like "Too much money!" but my heart said "Get it, it your dream car. If you want smiles. buy it!" then I smack 3,000 V$ bid on it then I won...
Way over myself limited but I don't have really choice. I guess 3,000 V$ is alright price.

My plan for that 200sx?

It cannot on the road due MOT expired, seller have paid tax so to get that 200sx on the road, it need patching corrosion area and give lick new paint not just exterior painting, it going WHOLE shell aswell. I will meet up my boss at work site later day for discussion about my 200sx repair. I need thinking about colour, possible I'm painting yellow, any your suggest colour will be help. :)

Question is; Are you going build drift car?
No, I'm not going to drift, sorry for any drift fans because I seen s chassis too popular to drift, it meaning most will sent scrapped if that crash become unrepairable. I'm going do is, track day car project.

Anyone have suggest nickname for 200sx? (Plate is J643 LTL).
Here mine as link from plate:
Lil Jack.
Lil Jenny.

Wallet:
Before ~ 20,000 V$
Bought 200sx ~ 3,000 V$
After ~ 17,000 V$

As I been words with my boss, he was fully aware my 200sx condition. He was happy to sorting out body work condition I have paid for it but I get staff discount. It will be fully body respray, what colour I should go with it? I'm thinking re-paint Active Red. What is your suggest about my 200sx paint colour, guys?

What about Daytona Blue or Lighting Yellow? I like Daytona Blue more than Active Red.

Niceeee man ! , I recommend using a Nissan RB25DET engine, they are easy to install, you do not have to deal with awd things like in the RB26, there are excellent aftermarket for that engine, and they are not that expensive, A good suspension with coilovers greddy type s, AP brakes Racing, Bucket seats, a nardi steering wheel and an anti-roll cage, with that the car will be legal on the street but it will be perfect for the track

I'm going more careful with my budget, I don't want to blowing my money, so it likely I'm swap SR20DET.

There only fake one. :l

Here I spent so far, no photo because it secret! :D

> Welding repair ~ 200 V$ (bit expensive but it will be rust free.)
> PS13 Aero front end plus Nissan Sentra grill and fully amber sidelight ~ 1,950 V$ ( Price came from *LINK* )
> Clear rear light ~ 120 V$ ( Price came from *LINK* )
> My friend RPS13 SR20DET engine plus gearbox [It light tune to 300BHP] ~ 3,000 V$ (She have RPS13 with healthy SR20DET, but idiot impatient bmw rear end her parked RPS13. I want give her bit cash to give her chance to find nicer car.)
> Paint job ~ 1,300 V$ (expensive but it will give best quality paint.)
I'm staff so, I get discount. Paint (plus sanding, filler, and prime coat) and welding total cost is 1,500 V$. I get 200 V$ off the price so it 1,300 V$.

Total bills: 6,370 V$, which mean my wallet will be 10,630 V$.
Oh I forgot paycheck yesterday adding 415 V$ into my wallet, total I have is 11,045 V$.
My RPS13 finished will be this Saturday.

Daaaamn , its hot !
I would recommend using the Vstanced HD Plates and the Intel HD Enb, they are the two things that I use the most, the boards have their templates to edit them in photoshop and put them personalized, and the enb helps a lot with the photos, so I would recommend using them

Sorry no update yesterday because I'm busy...
Recent my nan has heart problem from it discover from doctor recent and her ill getting worst and worster and she should DO not to drive car. She would refused to give up driving and she living lonely. It so hard for me to kept eyes her while I'm busy something. I have found place for my nan to stay at old people house so care staff can kept eyes her at all time and it will give me less worrying about her. I have to explain her very clearly because I cannot not to looking you after all day because I got job, then she realised I was right and she said her house and car sold money to me. Once my nan is moved to old people house.

My nan, she quite weak, using her walking stick and she find bit hard to do herself. It impassible to leave her alone, it too risky. My parent? They moved to USA for fresh start, which it only me and my nan...

Anyway enough about her, I sold her car.

Her house will be sold soon, just bit clean up.

I felt bit stressed about her, I take my sil80 to park and to calm down myself...

I thinking when I sold the her house and I may sent some money to heart problem charity.

Nissan Micra sold for 9,045 V$ adding into my wallet, total is 20,090 V$.
