Introduction
こんにちは; Hello, my name is Takahashi, and by the title and name you guys can guess that I live in Japan. I am 19, student and part time mechanic at my friends garage. I've been working at his garage sine I was 15, and by the age of 19, I've collected 20000V$ to buy my first car. Since this is Japan, drifting is the most popular, let's say hobby. I grew up, watching the older guys drift the mountains in their 86's and S13's and it kinda grew up on me. My parents aren't that wealthy so they never could afford me a car to bash around in it, and I had to work to get it. The question was, what should I get? Since my friend works at his garage, he has some contacts where to get cars, from hatchbacks to 4 door luxury drift cars. The last week was all about searching for my first drift car.The other day I was working on some cars, when I heard something outside the garage rattling and scraping. It was my friend towing in a S13.  We rolled the car on the tunnel, and he said: "Remember when you were searching for a drift car?; I said: "Yeah"; He just said: "It's yours".  It took me about 5 minutes to understand what was happening at this moment, this S13 is mine. It's dirty, a bit rusty and repaired on some places, weird paint all over it, but it was mine.  I just love how the car is, it's got a SR20DET in it, it's just missing the radiator and intercooler. My friend said that this was a legit drift car but it was put away in some dudes garage because he got himself a new project car and needed the money. This morning I finished installing the used Koyorad radiator that I bought and a cheap intercooler, now all that's left is to put in a new battery and change the spark plugs to make this car run after some time. |

I've seen a lot of RP's here, and they all got these killer good pics, but the only thing that annoys me with my PC is that I can't use newer, better quality mods. I'll try to keep up with a good story to compensate the lack of quality mods and textures. |

if you realy wanna check the engine go to theoil pan if you have not chnged the oil put a magnet in the plug and take it afther a week if is there metal your rods and oil pump should be bad and if you changed your oil just throw the magnet in the old oil move it arround and check.Because i know driftcars with nore than 100k that since today doesnt had any wear because the guy changes oil from event to event and use additives Pro-tip use semi-truck oil because they have more anti-friction wich reduces engine wear+ they are easy to buy in large ammounts.

Well people, I have some bad news. As I said before the S13 was used before as a drift car. Yesterday and this morning I was practicing drifting on a small local track. The car performed well yesterday, but this morning I was driving for 30-40 minutes, when I heard a loud rattling noise and heavy RPM jumps.
I pulled to the side and there was a oil trail of 100-ish meters with some connecting rod parts laying on the ground. After looking at the engine, and inspecting it, there was a hole in the oil pan, and engine block. Currently the S13 is a write off. I really feel bad about all this that has happened this morning. If anyone asks, am I going to sell the S13? -No, the car is going to get back on the track in mid October. Future plans for the S13? -The engine is pulled out from the car. Now, I am preparing the car to be repainted. What engine am I going to put in the car? -About that, well I don't know at this moment. I am searching for a "new" car, because the S13 is just written off and slowly progressing. If anyone got an offer for a car, or a hint, please let me know, thank you. |
