*Loading Typical RP Base started
*Typical RP Base loaded *Typical RP Base initialized Soo.. I live in Japan in Saitama near Shomaru Pass at Mt.Izugatake. Now im expecting the response to be "Initial D Fanboi".. Now i am and that doesnt mean im a nerd who cant drift for shit.. I practice Shomaru nearly every day i can (at night obvs) I've crashed a few times and wrote a few cars off doing it however it has honed my skills to a better level. Anyway let me get to my name.. It's Ryan and that isnt a Japanese name but i do have Japanese parents but i was brought here at 2 years old and left to be collected by the Japanese Social Services who gave me a family and now im happy. I can speak fluent Japanese and i love AE86's (Who doesnt?). The car i bought was a 1992 Toyota JZZ30 or Soarer powered by a 1JZ-GTE. Now the model i have is the "sportiest model" according to Toyota. It made 279bhp from "factory" however i had it dynoed and it makes a little over 300hp which is pretty decent for stock. I have already sourced a single turbo kit for it since twins are 'ok' but they dont have a laggy spool... Now this sounds so retarded but i like laggy turbos for one reason only. They are fun to just pass people when on the highway. Example.. A Merc C220 CDi passes you so you floor it and you slowly creep then "Spool happens and magic comes out" and you fly past him/them idk. Pictures: Finances: $20000 starting cash -$6800 for soarer = $13200 -$2000 for turbo = $11200 This post was edited by R G T (2017-09-22 15:09, ago) |

Well if you're using the Soarer, the 1JZ will come in handy for you man. As for the mods, I suggest a couple of chassis upgrades to enhance the stability and rigidity of the car. Anyways I can't wait to see how it looks dude.

# R G T :I’m gonna stitch weld the whole chassis I've done that before (IRL) with a Fiesta Mk1 body on an Escort floor/chassis... it's a lot of work, took a solid week of 16 hour days. The result was what I'd hoped for but would I do it again?... No fugging way! |

Purchased my Dream!
Now my dream is an R34 so i looked around and found a 1999 R34 GTR Rolling Shell for $1500. It only has the running gear but doesnt have doors, fenders, bonnet and drivetrain so this build is gonna be a good chassis to go from. No pictures until its in a drivable state.. Cant wait! Finances: $11200 -$1500 = $9500 |

I don't think that's particularly realistic, but hey, who's arguing?

lemme clarify this R34...
1. it has no title or vin soooo this means i cant register it which means track car/ FD Legal drift car 2. Its missing sooo many parts 3. Its got some problems with rust and that What does this mean? $1500 is ok for it however im gonna be putting more than that in the 34 itself so yea.. A R34 shell is worth something depending on the model. But as you say if its got no VIN it isnt worth loads if its a shell

I'm not gonna go all out straight away. I'm gonna buy bodykit first since i can concentrate on running gear later. The kit im going with is a 'REP' Top-Secret kit. It costs around $1200 but its unpainted and fibreglass so if i crash... bye bye kit. And the single turbo kit was given with the 2J so the guy said he would pay me back $1800 for it soo
+$1800 |
