Hello, I introduce myself:
My name is Juan, I'm from Uruguay but I'm living in Japan, (I came to be surrounded by Japanese cars and have cars that I always wanted and that I could never have, I came with about $ 200,000 to open a workshop, buy me a nice car to modify and rent a house.
I was looking at the classifieds in search of a good car with modifications for less than 6000 dollars, Habian cars very good, but there were not many cars that interested me, the ones I liked were out of budget, and those who were below me They called a lot of attention, there were some for my budget that were interesting, I will inform you when I get some information

Finally ! I bought a car!
I bought a Nissan Silvia S14 for $ 5500
It was an excellent purchase, the car is in very good condition, and the owner made many modifications
He made a motor swap, switching from a SR20DET to a RB26DETT, the engine put stage 2 cams, a programmable ECU, then put a new suspension, brakes, wheels and tires, escape, among other things, a wonder !
But...
The engine is very worn out and has some problems, I do not know how serious they are, but I'll check it out this weekend, Maybe I'll do a rebuild to the engine, or if the damage is very serious, I'll set a new one

I know ha ha, But that money I got from my savings, plus the sale of my house and my workshop in Argentina

Added 3 minutes later:

And as expected:
The engine needed a rebuild
I had problems with the crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, valves, camshafts, gearbox and shirts
But hey, I already had it planned
Anyway, I'll buy the parts now and I'll rebuild it

Added 34 minutes later:

Finally ! I finished the engine, I did a reconstruction and an immense improvement, Before the engine was saved except the ECU and camshafts and delivered around 520 hp, now with crankshaft stage 2, connecting rods and pistons stage 3, cap of cylinders stage 3 with the stage 3 camshafts, new clutch and flywheel, new gearbox, Admission and stage 3 injectors, is over 740 hp (it has 742 now)

Well, bad luck.
I was running a drag race against an RX7 FC3S, When suddenly the rear suspension control arm of my s14 is broken, the car loses control, crashes the guardrail, crosses the other side and crashes to the rx7 (which also turns , but its damage was only to the body, the engine and the chassis were fine), and then my s14 starts to stumble, Fortunately, managed to get away unscathed from that accident, but the s14 was totally destroyed, the engine was with many cracks in the block, the headcover was shattered, the turbos did not exist, the chassis was destroyed.
In short, s14 died
But luckily the car was insured, so the insurance will give me the money of the value that had the car before the crash (which were more than 35,000), Asique I started looking at some cars in the classified, and found some that were very good , Keep informed of the matter

Added 1 hour 36 minutes later:

Finally ! After a long search for a cheap car, in good condition, and with some modification, I found something very good!
A 1999 Toyota Supra MK4
Modified 2JZ-GTE engine, has a reprogrammed ecu , camshafts and some improvements more, The rest is stock, Buy it very cheap, $ 5500
It does not have any mechanical defect for now although the suspension is quite worn, But that will do when I lower it, Hands on!
