Hey guys, my name's Cody and I'm 20 years old and i live on the south coast of Australia (Adelaide). I've been tuning cars out the back of my house since I was 15 with a couple of mates and now I've decided to open up a small shop on the outskirts of the city. I am also a student studying the art of film, but currently taking a break from that.
Anyway I bought this car off of my Grandma for V$1500 which I guess is a pretty good price for the wear that it is in. It doesn't have a rego or an engine, sadly. The interior looks very good so I'm pretty happy about that Also i got one last question, should I make this a race car or a drag car? V$20,000 - V$1,500 =V$18,500 |

# n0mie : Making a driftcar out of an american muscle car?I have a drift Chevelle, so it's possible to do that. If you'll make a race/drift car go with a LS as juicy said, you'll get lots of power for its money. |

Added 1 hour 9 minutes later: Hey everyone After all the blood sweat and tears i finally fixed up all the rust. Man does it look good! I've also been looking at engines and I decided on getting a small block Chrysler LA 318. I think I'll turn it into a drift car because it's something I've never tried before. I'll might go look at some new wheels too. Suggestions would be great! Until next time :^) V$18,500 - V$2900(for the restoration) - V$5017 (engine cost + shipping) = V$10,583 This post was edited by n0mie (2017-07-29 06:48, ago) |

Another update for you guys----------------------------------Got new wheels today. American Racing ones too, and holy shit do they look good! Thanks for the suggestion. Also got new tyres. The engine arrived today (yay). It was a pain to fit into the bay, but I eventually got it in :^). It produces about 412 horsepower which is really god damn good! Oh, I almost forgot, i got a new hood since the last one could barely fit the engine. I looked everywhere to find one that would fit the car. Eventually I found one from some old ex-racer car driver who was selling off his old Buick that he used to race. He told me about his glory days in racing and the amount of broken bones he's gotten. Anyway here's some pics Well I hope you like the car, it's got some real potential! Until next time! :^) |
