Ok, i ask it on other forums too, but i think its a must have for VStanced.

If someone has the time, and the patience, can someone make a good very good awesome good tut for making cars ?

I mean, with al the programs needed in it, and a step by step tut with pictures.
I know, i am asking a lot, but maybe someone will do that.
It's no hurry, take your time, but i think its a must have

tbh dopey i can say even if you had it all ready for you the only way to learn it would be by "trail and Error" if you know what i mean.. tbh i'd say start from rims.. get to know the loading order/paintable material setups/basic 3d max etc.. once you can easily add rims you will have basic understanding of rpk/scripts/javas :) i have said ages ago that i will make a full rim tutorial.. and ill do it :) hopefully this weekend! that should get you started :)

Well.. tbh, even after some time modding some small stuff, only now I got the guts to start putting some parts inside a car rpk... that's the hardest part I think.

But Dopey, my friend... my advice for all is: start small... first a rimpack, or a mufflerpack... or even start messing with cfgs and javas... slowly get the hang of these stuff... with small stuff...

Then when you are confident, ask a "teacher" to help ya... I had various masters, but I seriouslly can recommend one, Franco is excelent teaching these stuff.

Really, I am very happy to see people interested in car converting... grudas and Jaziba in the car converting scene is something that made me VERY HAPPY.

Let's prove to the suckers that SLRR modding scene isnt dying!!!!

+1 to diego play round with the java's/cfg's to get to know the game's basics, then get yourself some rims from GTA (that the easiest) and play around with textures and colors/materials. then convert stuff.

I think it`s ag great idea to have tut for create car, rims, etc. In my case, i don`t know how do it, i`ll try with some cars for gta but i have a lot of problems with the programs, with the game when i install the car. I`ll really want to do a rimpack or a car for slrr so this way i do not have to ask to spend a car to me. I`ll pass a month try to find the mercedes c63 amg for my slrr and can`t find it, so i think that is a great idea to try to do by my self but i don`t know what programs i have to use. And having a tut like Dopey say`s is more easy to do. This one is my way of seeing the things and I do not try to offend anybody.

creating a car takes 12hrs + of working time can you imagine someone actually trying to explain it in a tut? how long would it be and how many would get it?! 20hrs? i wish i got paid for this i would do it.. but i've done the rim tut which is a 1hr long video and the actual work for rim alone is no more than 10 minutes without explaining everything so thats 6x time more work.. so for car id be looking at ~72hrs of video/work to create a tut..

start with the rim tut you lot have and work your way up i and many others have started this way
