The FD got a turbo kit finally. It's a single turbo setup. I just finished the assembly and I'll post pics in a couple hours.

As I said the FD got a new turbo kit, so it's finally boosting as it was supposed to.

It's a single turbo setup, with all the turbo pipes, blow off valve, exhaust header and a Turbonetics turbo. I think that it can push around 500HP with the right tuning. But I'm gonna hold it at 350, as I don't want to kill the engine.

CHANGES

As the title said, some things changed in these 3-4 days. I started a blog called "shirtstuckedin" and an article is coming out on the 26th now.

Well, I sold the Crown for 7K, it's cool because you know it had a crash and everything so it's fine. And the RX7, well I sold it to the guy whose garage I was using for the time.

Anyways, the big news is that I moved from Osaka. With all the fuss around the blog I had to move to the epicenter of all the drifting, and that is Tokyo.
Because I'm looking for those 90's drift style cars, I've read some articles and they all said that Tokyo is the place where you want to be.

So I packed my things and my equipment and went there.

Ofc I had to get myself a new car. Sort of new...

Before I left Osaka, I placed a bid on a 1989 Nissan 180SX, and when I got here yesterday morning, I saw that I won the auction.

This is it. So the car was used as a drift car for some time. It has some good parts on it, but also it has some problems.

The car has 141,xxx KM's on the clock, the engine has around 110,xxx as the owner said. The engine is a SR20DE Silver Top.

The only mods on the engine are a TODA exhaust header and a APexi Air filter.
But the downside is that it has a blown gasket and the sparkplugs are dead.

The good thing is that it has a genuine HKS exhaust, with some scratches but it's nothing that serious.

Now the running gear. The car has front and rear swaybars but idk the brand of them. Also the front brakes are from a 1994 Supra MKIV and the rear ones are Wilwood disks with ProjectU calipers, but the brake pads needs to be changed.

The front rims are stock S13 rims, and the rear are genuine Skyline R32 rims, but... the tires are old and worn out.

Yo guys, today I did a some engine maintenance to the 180.
First of all, I removed the cylinder head and changed the gasket. Quick job but it was a pain in the ass to do it.

Then I got NGK spark plugs, changed them too, and I started the car for the first time.

The HKS exhaust is loud AF. After all, the engine has a pretty decent sound.

And now the fun part. The car actually drifts well even tho it's a N/A.

It's handling pretty well. But it needs a serious tune up.

After the drifting fun, I had to take a brake and take some pics of the car.

Oh and some other news. I'm packing my things and I'm gonna travel to the States, for a car photoshoot for the blog. Also gonna pick up some parts.

Stay tuned.

(i'll do the finances when I get back from the trip)

^bcs we all want virgin rps13's but everyone that sees a turbo sr rps13 loses their shit bcs the car is 3-4K, but everyone thinks that a turbo SR cost 10K and a "reasonable" price for a rps13 with a N/A SR is 3-4K

and if the car has a bodykit and you pay the car 5K (let's say), most people start talking smack like the RP is shit, the car is too cheap and blah blah...

So I'm sticking to what I know and what I have hahaha

Okay, so I arrived this morning, and right of the top I could see some cool cars.
The first car I saw was a Z28 Camaro, but I snapped just 1 pic of it, because it flew past me. It was crazy loud tho.

After some walking I saw another cult car. A 240SX, which looked pretty neat, but I think it has seen some abusing before :))

Also, while sightseeing I heard something rumble on the street, I prepared my camera and saw this crazy Hellcat, with carbon fiber parts.

And I found a JDM Civic EG6, its not riced af, its got a nice tune.

Ill post more pics of what I see on my trip soon. Im leaving the States on the 21st, so everything will be prepared for the blog update.

Stay tuned!
