How desperate can one be for an original car?
I was, so I went to america to buy one.
And here she is, a '71 camaro with mismatched body panels (oh gee I wonder why)

That car has costed me 7kV$ and I'm pretty sure only 1% of the value is actually of the chassis and suspension.
Because this thing drives like a piece of shit.
Why? well, the bloody shocks are anything but good condition, they're barely legal.

and also because this is its engine. An ITB setup LS1. It produces like 340hp so it's not bad.
Going back to Poland with my car and myself has cost me 400V$ and dignity after I vomited my dinner into the water. But hey, cars here so I don't have anything to worry about.
List to do
1.get the shocks out
2.some new tires, the current ones are 10 years old
3.and new rims perhaps
4.convert the blinkers to EU variant
Current balance:
12600

note: as I still don't know shit about how much are some things worth I might overpay or underpay for them, about which I'm terribly sorry :>

Kurwa!

Nah lol. That Camaro is already quite unique in Poland, and I'm honestly excited to see what comes of it.

update!
Camaro is back from painting, and it looks more fabulous than ever! The color I chose for it is antique green- after thinking about what I should choose I decided to check the original colour palette of 2nd gen, and I found this beautiful paint. Cost-1750V$

(car sitting on some shitty steelies rn since the original wheels were thrown away)
While it was in painting, I was searching for something for my suspension, and after a few days of intense searching I found aftermarket koni shocks and springs set for 250V$ each+shipping cost since they're from america... Now, currently the camaro has leaf suspension on the rear, but I was thinking about switching to independent suspension.

Definitely and interesting build in progress, I will follow it for sure, because I never had interest in American cars, but this might spice things up for me  The color choice is awesome too, not many cars look good in green, but that Z28 will definitely look good. And about the rear suspension, I think you should go for independent rear suspension if you want to make everything right, because in my opinion leaf suspensions are outdated af unless it's a truck lol.

( ooc - I saw you asking in shoutbox if everything is good with your RP, so yeah everything seems fine, keep it up :) )

my previous letter got deleted, nice.
Time to check my wallet!
12600V$
-1050 shocks
+150 scrap metal
+960 payday time!
-450 independent suspension for the camaro.
But mister polski, why so cheap? Well, it's not some OEM kit, but it's actually a suspension from 350z. Some digging around the internet and I find out they fit, so yeah, why not?

But you gotta work for it first. Bear with meee
Oh and also, found some nice American slot mags for 1400 (all 4 rims). They look really cool.

Also, I decided I want a car to race with.
So I bought this brand-new, mint 911 singer for only 1k...

Who am I fooling. That pic is not even mine.

This is mine. I wish I could say I got lucky and it has bazilion horsepower and a racing suspension but it doesn't. It's just a plain 318i. For now... After stripping the interior, putting some new coilovers, brakes and wheels and tuning the suspension it's gonna fly
almost forgot the price. It was for 850V$

Started stripping the car. the 318i 4cylinder was in good condition, but the HP was abysmal. So I took it out and sold it for 300$.
bumpers and sideskirts also went out of the car, and they weren't in that good condition. Interior has been stripped, I'm going to put a rollcage, racing steering wheel and a bucket seat there. As for suspension, new brakes and coils+some fancy wheels.
The engine I chose for this project was 4.6l V8 from 2001 mustang, which is currently being imported from the US. It cost me 1600$. I've checked the size of the engine and the engine bay, and it should fit perfectly :)
