I guess I have to do some research on the Supra, since I am new to Toyota.  Today, I did some minor tweaks to Teddy. Rearranging and fixing some misplaced parts, getting rid of old stuff... etc.  I replaced the front wheels to Hyundai Genesis wheels. I shipped the old Panasport wheels to Bad.Compqny. Also, I got rid of the old expired temporary plates, and the antifog film and the tints on the headlights.  The tint on the front windshield was removed as well. I am not a big fan of tinted front windshield. The right side mirror was also installed, but I have to get the other pair.  The dangling exhaust pipe and the mufflers will be fixed next time. Fixing the missing glass for the right taillight and the rear windshield will be my next plan. + V$ 1100 (Panasport) + V$ 940 (Paycheck) Total V$ 14620 |

I thought it was perfect time to work on my daily G8 while the parts for the Supra being delivered.  Fun Fact: LHD Holden Caprice was sold as "Veritas" in Korea.  I visited GM parts store few days ago, and I ordered the white G8 GXP bumper and it arrived today. I really like the Korean delivery system. It is quick and precise.  The tires reached its limit recently, I had to replace those to Bridgestone RE002 tires. As you can see, the brakes were also replaced to 4P HSV AP Racing brakes. Although it was used, but in pretty good condition.  I was considering LS Swap, but V6 is pretty much enough for me I guess. (And I have Supra for the reason) - V$ 200 (GXP Bumper) - V$ 1800 (Used HSV Brakes) - V$ 500 (RE002 Tires) Total V$ 12120 |

 Got the KSport Kontrol Pro Coilover Sets for Pontiac G8. It costed about V$ 1200.  Now she sits much nicer than before. I had to put the leftover spacers in the garage for better rear fitment.  Also I reinstalled the HID headlights, since it looks better imo. - V$ 1200 (Coilovers) Total V$ 10920 |

Also, I ordered a coilover set to replace the blown shocks.  I stored the old wheels to the garage, and installed these Pontiac rims for temporary purpose, until I finish the car. Also, the exhaust pipe was repaired.  The rear windshield, the mirror and the rear taillights were installed as well. (I think I ordered the right-sided one, my apologies)  The blown shocks were replaced to Scale Innovative Coilovers, I used those and it was pretty good. Now it looks better, it just needs the registration process. I painted my Supra, since Korean DMV people think that the oddly colored cars would obviously fail the test. Therefore, I sent my car to the shop for few days, and the color looks great.  I went for little bit orange-ish red color, and I guess it is one of the factory colors. Registering the car was a pain in the ass. It took really fast than expected but I assume they just want me to go away.  Now I should look for little details that are missing. - V$ 800 (Paint) + V$ 940 (Paycheck) Total V$ 10315 |

 Of course I wanted a fat wing, but I thought it was too overkill for a stock looking Supra. Instead, I found this used stock wing from Japan Yahoo Auction for relatively cheap price. (Only V$ 100!)  Basically nothing has been changed except the wing.. But I ordered the seats and the steering wheel altogether as well.  First, the seats. The stock Supra RECARO seats were really good, but I was digging for this red accent from EVO 9 seats. It costs about V$ 1000, though it was used one. I had to clean it up as well.  And the stock steering wheel was replaced to a better one.  I could find the new set of Nardi Black steering wheels for V$ 400. Looks much better. Now I can focus on the engine, since it is pretty much bone stock. - V$ 100 (Wing) - V$ 1000 (Seats) - V$ 400 (Nardi) Total V$ 5315 |
