180SX Gone?...

After i swapped in the 4A and did all the mods such as lowering and wider fenders, the 180 essentially became impossible to drive as a daily and i didn't feel like getting a daily since the 180 was becoming boring anyway, so decided why not sell it. I posted it on a auction forum on a japanese website and after two days some American message saying 'do i have the car still?' so i said 'yes', then about a hour after i was getting it ready for shipping. We settled on $9000 since it has a JDM 4AGE 20V, loads of parts and shipping, i also threw in all my spares too since it would free up space.

After that i needed a new car so i started looking on auction pages and found a 1997 HONDA INTEGRA DC2 Type-R which has 103,000 KM's, manual and never been crashed. Comes with all service history and receipts for purchases. I did find a little gem inside... A K20A Type-R EP3 Engine that was from the last models which made 221hp. Came on Honda Wheels but i did already buy some wheels in advance. RAYS GramLight 57V's which cost me $1215 for all four, they arrived the same day i went to pick up the car which is a plus for me. Here's the original ad - Integra (never mind the fact it says 1.8l, i wanted a K20). I had to pay 860,651.48 Yen for it which comes to around $7,636.

The parts list is pretty decent as well; Comes with H&R Ultra-Low Coilovers, RAYS GramLights 57V's wrapped in Dunlop Potenza's which cost me $100 for a set of four. Mugen seats and Mugen brakepads, WilWood Calipers and Rotors. There is some other little things but i want to show the car so here's some pics.

So as i said earlier i need more power and thats three days after ownership too!

How i came to this conclusion basically played out like this;

I was driving at around 11:45pm around Mt.Taka and i pull up in the layby, letting the car cool down a little before i hit the downhill as i just flew up the uphill stuggling slightly. I hear bumbling and turbo woosh in the distance behind me then headlights pull up behind me. They flash and i think im gonna go, so i put the foot down and drop the clutch, wheelspinning away. I keep in front on the first 6 corners but he passes me on the inside on the hairpin after the 6th corner. Im gutted inside. A backfire then more turbo flutter and he's gone. I caught a glimpse as he went by and i saw a single cam honda engine inside with a massive single turbo up front. Must be a D15 or D16 but either way it was stupid quick or i was stupid slow  .

Saw i decided i need turbo and ive ordered a pre-made header for $1000 off a japanese tuning website. (idk what brand didnt pay attention really) The turbo can wait but thats coming soon so TURBO!

Here's a pic i managed to get as he pulled in front of me. (Ignore the quality iPhone pics bro)

For those who can't tell it's a EK Civic. Defo EK4 since D15/16

Finances:
$7199 - $1000 = $6199

Well i got the JZX but im only gonna pay $1259 a month if i keep it so i reckon one month's worth of thrashing is enough. Also its a VVT-I and makes 450ps+ using a T67. Can't wait! ill do finances after i leave ebisu to not cause confusion for myself!

Well since Ebisu is nearly 9 hours away I decided I would get a plane there and it cost me $200 for a ticket with return which is nice but I had to get it very late so it was about 1 in the morning I had to catch it and I'm here now just slightly tired but I'll post the car later. Bet you wondering that was quick, well news flash planes are quick bro

Well the chaser is sick and i haven't even driven it yet... The pics are during the day since i got there mid day ish and straight away took pics so i can upload later in the day.

The engine is a 1JZ VVT-I and is single turbo (pics show twin because cant find single) Some brand T67 and is running at 1.0bar of boost, stock internals, HKS Fuel rail and other things. It runs at 450ps and is fast, really fast considering its a boat haha.

Full part list here -> *LINK*

Comes on some wheels cba looking for the name but they look sick. The colour is really dark green but it looks black, maybe im colour blind? Has bucket seats and a roll cage (not in game), Kakimoto exhaust full system, sounds mental and can spit flames so madness on touge.

Here's the pics since im tired and cba with writing anymore haha

Ebisu is amazing! Its massive compared to the maps in such games like Assetto Corsa and SLRR (haha). I've mainly being going on Minami and nishi but Touge is so hard but yet great at the same time. I nearly beached it on the first run but instead i managed to 360 out of the way (mad skillz). The guys at Power-Vehicles are sick, if you bought a car from them you can use any tool for free any time and use the tire machine for free which is great since i have already been through two sets (i am buying part worns since they are cheaper and i get a discount since i got a PV car, they cost about $60 for two rears)

Here's a pic someone managed to get for me.

So today is my last day at Ebisu since im going to do tourist stuff nearby and be sad. I did however have a sick day since i got to see a mad 180sx and properly get a good run on minami without the Chaser overheating constantly (i've been told JZ's are known for overheating).

The first thing i did when i got on the track was just floor it all the way through second and burn through the last of my tires i got yesterday, as i did so the grey 180sx (above) was behind me, bouncing off limiter and gaining. I enter the jump drift section and he is literally door to door with me and it was scary but fun. I pull into the pits after that run and he comes up to me and says i can drive his car because i kept my cool then.

I started the beast up and it sounded godly, makes me want a 1J Swapped S13 now (Project car?). I do a couple laps and hand it him back and it handles so good but i prefer my boat of a chaser.

Here's a pic of the beast rippin:

It's spec is amazing, its got Nissan Q rims which looks sick on it, A Built 1J, HKS Fuel Rail running 600cc injectors, Garrett GTX3076R GEN II which is capable of around 700bhp at max boost but he's running 1.5bar of boost and it runs around 550 or so but its rips, Tomei downpipe and straight pipe to a HKS tip that has a run in with a wall (Big crumple in side), Weld covers and ARC rad.

Compared to my chaser his 1J is god.

My chaser ran well but i've gotta say goodbye since im selling it back to them for 2k since i did put somewhat bigger injectors in it from that S13 guy. He said i can have his 500cc injectors since they are good and i wont starve the engine with them.

Here's a pic of the Chaser:

The price wasn't just injectors but i cba to list everything i added since it was just fixing broken things really. Exhaust had a hole in it so i welded a patch in, tightened loose bolts, cleaned up the wiring inside since it was catching my feet. Basically small things really.

Added 1 hour 45 minutes later:

Just splashed some cash on a S13 Shell. It cost me $800. Has no engine or gearbox, missing front bumper, bonnet and headlights. One seat, dash intact, no carpet or headliner, no door cards and no speakers etc. Exhaust has been removed.
So the engine i wanted was a RB26 and i found a fully stock RB26DETT in japan for 250,000 yen on a auction site. So i bought that also. It came to around $3100 for everything so be waiting for that guys.

Finances:
7199 - 3005 = 4194
$4194 left
