MY AE86

So, I noticed that here aren't that many old school JDM cars. And here is my 87' AE86. Pretty much stock, with some drift things to make it go sideways.

It's got a stock 4A-GE, N/A making around 150HP. Blitz Spec exhaust.
SSR 16" rims, Toyota JZA80 rear brakes.
Bride Zeta III seat, Nardi Orido Steering wheel, hydraulic handbrake, HKS gauges, and a stage 1 rollcage.

So instead of getting a Corolla, I got a S14. My homie @bushidoracer hooked me up with a bluetop SR20DE for 1500V$
About the S14, it's pretty clean, just a shell with running gear, already sand blasted and shit. It set me back for around 1700V$.

All in all, its gonna be fun working on the S14.

Suggest me something that I should do with it.

FINALLY GOT AN FC

So after searching and searching, I got a pretty decent FC shell. Since I was sure that I will get an FC I already ordered a bodykit for it which will come by the end of the night, also an intercooler which I will put in the trunk. And the SR fits perfectly in it.

Because the 86 is mostly a daily, I need a legit drift car. So yeah that will be the FC.

As I already said, I ordered FC parts before I got a FC...
They arrived last night. Got both front and rear strut bars, front bumper, radiator, straight exhaust pipe, steering wheel and I finished the rear bash bar and rollcage.

It's coming along nicely, I'm just waiting for the turbo kit for the SR.

The parts above cost me 2000V$.

# Sleepin mOnkey : Nice spot for the radiator but how about the air flow?

Well, there will be vortex air flow coming from the rear bash bar, so it would push air into it. I'm waiting for a rear diffuser to come, then I will make the air flow even better.

Added 1 hour 58 minutes later:

ME BOOSTA
I was always a turbo head. So this SR turbo kit was the holy grail for me.
The turbo kit finally arrived this morning. So yeah basically the turbo, turbo exhaust pipe, air filter, turbo piping and BOV.
It took me the whole morning to fabricate a custom turbo exhaust system.
The whole kit plus the custom exhaust cost me 2250V$.

I also got new front rims, WORK CR-Kai 19x11 and tires. That cost me 300V$

And btw, I went to a scrapyard searching for head and taillights, a front windshield and rear view mirrors. Headlights and taillights were 75V$, The windshield was 120V$ and rear view mirrors were 25V$.

Added 1 hour 10 minutes later:

GOT ANGLE?

To finish this day, I was working on the front alignment. Tomorrow I will be doing the front camber on the car. Today I just did the wheel angle.
Here are the before and after pics:

IT DRIFTS

Took my FC on a quick drift, just to see how it performs. After that I began working on the front camber of the car.
The front camber is -3.5 degrees. I bought some Toyota Supra 296mm front disk brakes from a scrapyard for 80V$.

Also my Uras wing came this morning. I paid for it 120V$. Mounted it, and it looks hella dope.

And ofc I couldn't rock those stock FD rear rims. So I got myself SSR 19X11.5 rims plus Kumho 275/35 tires for a bargain. 225V$.

So here are the finances for this week:

-Reselling the S14 put me back to 20000V$
-SR20DE was 1500V$
-FC shell was 950V$
-Body kit, radiator, straight exhaust pipe, steering wheel, rollcage and bashbar pipes were 2500V$
-Turbo kit plus custom exhaust system was 2250V$
-WORK CR-Kai rims plus tires cost me 300V$
-Head and taillights, a front windshield and rear view mirrors were 220V$
-Toyota Supra front disk brakes 80V$
-Uras wing 120V$
-SSR 19X11.5 rims + Kumho 275/35 tires 225V$

Economy: 20000 - 8145 = 11855

/+ Weekly income (770V$)

=12625V$

As I said, I got my coilovers last night, and this morning the rear brakes.
The coilovers are fully adjustable, ride height adjustable also. It will give my FC a more aggressive look but I wont lower it so much.

The rear brakes are Brembo brakes (355mm) with ProjectU 6 cyl calipers.

The coilovers were 750V$ and rear brakes 600V$.
Pretty good deal tbh. :D

Added 1 hour later:

So, my FC is at the paint shop, getting a new coat of paint. I was browsing local auction houses and car dealers. I posted an offer for a 1993 Toyota Supra RZ. My winning bid was at 3850V$ + shipping it to my garage. It looks pretty decent. 6 speed manual transmission, BUT, incomplete JUN 2JZ in that bitch.

All in all, this is going to be a fun project!
(Here is the link of the actual car: *LINK* )

This fuckin Supra looks sexy AF.

After I checked that JUN 2JZ, it was a bigger bite than I could've handled. I sold the block for 7000V$ to some garage here. And they sold me a stock 2JZ block that is running, with a V160 6 speed manual transmission for 2650V$. All in all the Supra brought some money to my bank :D

Oh and BTW, the FC will arrive tomorrow from paint.

So where have I been?

I was working these 3 past weeks so I earned a stack of cash for my cars. Actually around 4500V$ plus three weeks of income. Where did I spend the money?

I totally rebuild the 2JZ, that means, new GReddy camshafts for 750V$, Garrett GT4088 turbo kit (plumbing, intercooler, BOV for 3125V$), HKS twin-scroll exhaust manifold for 750V$, GReddy intake manifold for 550V$, GReddy oil cooler and HKS oil filter for 300V$, and HKS engine cover for 100V$ and Apexi power intake air filter for 175V$.

Also I got some Work CR-Kai's traded for the BBS rims I had on the car and I payed just 150V$ extra for them. With tires ofc.

So here are the pics of everything

And here's the Supra drifting on Southern Circuit

FUCKIN' HUGE UPDATE FOR TODAY

Today marks a whole new chapter for me and my little home garage. As you guys have seen my three cars, the 86, FC3S and recently the Supra. So what is this huge update I'm talking about?

Well a private re-seller came across my garage where I was just fixing the Supra after yesterdays drift day. The guy was looking at my cars, and I thought that he was going to make a offer on my 86 because he was looking at it all the time. After speaking to him and saying what have I done to the 86, he asked about the FC. I showed him all the progress on the car from scratch until now. And finally he asked about the Supra. Also, I was telling him about the car and what was done to him.

He called some of his guys that appraised the cars. After everything, he tried to make a deal with me for all three cars. First of all I was very surprised, but after thinking about it. I was driving all of them for quiet some time now. The Supra was a pain in the ass. I had fun working on the FC. And my old 86...well it's just old.

And yeah, I wanted to keep the spirit of my Old School Style garage, and I agreed on a price of 52000V$ for all three cars.

And here are the finances:
-Current amount: 8675V$
+Three weeks of payment: 2310V$
+Side job: 4500V$
-Supra parts: 5900V$
+Selling the three cars: 52000V$

After this hectic day my bank account is: 61585V$

New set of wheels

After selling the three cars I had to get myself a new set of wheels. After calling one of my friends over at the 88's, he told me that they got a solid Toyota Mark II they were drifting for some time.

I asked what was wrong with it, and he said that the engine was replaced. They put a stock inline 4 after killing the 1JZ that was in it. But all in all it was a solid car.

He sold me it for 2000V$. Fair deal for it.

So what am I planning to do with it?

Here's the list:

-Get new 14 or 15 inch SSR or Work rims
-Lower it...a lot
-Put a SR in it
-Make it a Bosozoku style car, on a budget...

Here's the pic of it looking like it is:

Oh btw, I got myself a real garage now. Two of my closest friends came here, so we put money together to open a full fledged mechanical, body, tuning shop.
