MY DRIFT MISSILE IN THE MAKING

Short introduction, my name is Hamke, and this should be the part where I talk about myself, but naah. Here's my car instead. Picked up this R32 GTS-T, SR20DET swapped. It's got some issues, so I should fix them these days. Probably gonna put a bash bar on it. I got some Silvia S15 rims laying around so I'll put them on the car. It already has a drag style wing, I might keep it, looks nice. The car's got some miles on it. Looks like it was drifted before. Eh, I'll check it when I get it to my garage.

Leave any feedback.

TBH It reminds me of Alexis beer can Skyline, and I kinda like it.

THE PROGRESS

So I got home, took a chill pill, and began working on the R32. So far I didn't find any major rust spots. Removed the headlights, front bumper, and right quarter panel to see how to fit a bash bar.
Also I removed the cylinder head cover to see the camshafts. They look okay so far. The car had some weird exhaust note while driving it home. It might be the tip.

TO DO LIST:
-Make bash bars
-Do the alignment on all 4 wheels
-Fit the S15 rear wheels
-Fix the exhaust
-Do a all around maintenance

MY PREVIOUS DRIFT CAR

I wanted to show you guys, what was laying in my backyard the whole time. It was my previous drift car. Also an R32 with a RB20 swap. As you can see it was abused to the max. The chassis are bent, the suspension is totally wrecked. It's got a lot of rust issues. But it put me back to the old days when I had fun with this car. You might ask yourself why I don't use the parts from my last car. Well, the problem is that its all in such a bad condition, there's nothing left to salvage.

BTW I finished the bash bars. I bought the tubes while I was coming home. Took some time to finish them. All the metal tubes cost me around 175V$. The next few days I will be doing a engine rebuild.

Added 20 minutes later:

Last shot of today.

Kinda feels nice seeing these two cars together.

SR20 PROBLEMS

So today I finally checked the SR. Everything seems fine except for the camshaft bearing bridge, it's broken on some spots so I need to get a new one. Also I checked why the car had a strange exhaust sound. The whole exhaust system was scraping due to bad fitment. I welded the spots where it had holes. Since yesterday I fitted both front and rear bash bars, and I decided to keep the GTR style front bumper (hopefully I won't crash it).

Also I did all the fitment on the car so she sits nicely. The front rims are BBS something... And the rear rims are from a Silvia S15 with plenty of rubber on it. Tomorrow I'll be going to find a decent camshaft bearing bridge so I can finally test the car on some track.

THE FIRST DRIFTS

I got some new parts for the R32. Bought new intake and exhaust camshaft, new bearing bridge and the top cover. All in all everything was around 900V$. I installed everything on the car and it sounds like a dream. After that I took the car to Minami to do some laps and get used to the car. Removed the headlights, front bumper and the rear bumper in case I crash. Looks like a missile tho.

After some laps I got good shots of the car laying some rubber on the ground.

NEW DAILY

Pretty much the title says it all. I got a new daily car from a friend for cheap money. Around 11K. It's a Toyota GT86. Pretty much stock except for the engine, it's turbocharged that's why it has the front big HKS intercooler. All in all the car has some miles on it, but I know it wasn't abused like hell. I don't plan to change a lot of things on it. New rims and tires, maybe a 326 spoiler and a new steering wheel, everything else is gonna be stock. The 86 looks nice next to the R32.

Leave any suggestions and comments on what should I do with the 86.
