Okay, so i've been working on this for quite some time now, and I thought i'd show this to everyone. So I always wanted to have all the cars in my game, but that as you all know is not possible, because after like 90 rpks in the racers folder the game stops working. Not only that, mods conflift with each other, and a big part of them are also broken. I mean most mods that are available are broken lol. So, I decided to have not one game but, at the time atleast, i have fifteen of them. All of them use BB's slrr as base. Each of them have a different theme, so far i have these:
As you can see i didn't really take my time naming them, but i hope you get the idea xd By now you're probably thinking "pfff you just put the cars in the game and thats it, all of those installs are fuckin broken and work like shit", but, ahhh, that's the idea. I fix all the cars i add, make complete stock part lists, down to engines and suspensions, most of the cars don't use stock slrr engines, i try to make them come from the catalog as realistic as possible. Fix names, positions of parts and engines, clean up the catalog and all that. So every game has a different set of engines too. Different sets of cars. Different sets of rims and all that shit. I also try to fix any errors, script conflicts i can to make the games as stable as possible. I don't think i will ever finish this lol OK now a couple examples: so this BMW 8 series, was bare from the catalog, and also didn't have the model name, so now it comes all complete and also with a DevilsV8 BMW engine, not quite the correct specs, but better than the stock slrr engine. This one has all the BMW covers and all that. Also it has the brakes from Jaziba's 8 series. Nice. And now the Countach, this baby wasn't even working on 230Le, which was made for it, so making it work on MWM was quite the task. Also, now it comes with a carburreted v12, the doors open how they should (str8 up boii), the front wheels now come with a further offset so they don't clip with the brakes. That's how OCD i am. Gotta be IMMERSIVE YO These are just two examples from the "old exotic" game, all the cars in all the games receive the same treatment and more. So, tell me what you think xD |

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you like this here are a few others:
The BMWs have a stock M54B30, for the lack of a better one, but it does the job quite nicely The Camaro has an LS1, with the correct specs and all that. Most of the GM V8 cars in the modern american game have correct LS series engines The Benz isn't an offroader anymore and also has a DevilsV8 MB engine. Proper. I also treated the broken one piece Alfa Mito, because I really like Alfas xd. Also the Brera now has sweet rims and tyres and a V6. The Volvo I just did today and i made alot of of smal changes, but they really make it for me. |

Uhh, yeah, i've been thinking of doing the prices, so far i think all i've did with that was make the 250 California very expensive. I'll work on that. The career probably not, then I'd have to do the stage1 parts and probably some other things i don't know about

Thanks again for the kind words everyone. I don't think this will ever be finished, because everyday i find new mods that i need to add. I'd love to release everything, but that would be tricky cause i bet some original authors of the mods wouldn't like it. And also these take up a lot of space. A LOT. And uploading the cars separately wouldn't make any sense too, because a lot of the cars use parts from other cars and DIVIDED THEY FALL lol.
Today i treated the MR2 AW11, Nissan D21, S110 silvia, SVT Focus, Ibiza 6L and a civic. The AW11 was really tricky, because the 4A GE didn't fit transversely because of the transmission. So I had to get the old 4A GE mod, with the small tranny and since it had the same _data and .rpk name as the new one, i had to rename fucking everything to make them work without replacing each other. But now the AW11 is neat as shit |

You can release it in stages tho, aka make a main pack with maybe 10 cars, then release an addon pack with other 10 cars(only cars/parts to drag and drop into the game) and so on, that would make it easier for both you and the downloaders, and would definitely keep people interested in the project as well ;D

If I were you, I'd make a proper game using good mods - in term of scripts, physics, models but also part quantity. And I wouldn't force myself to add cool cars if there weren't a good mod with them, e.g. I'd rather use well made Prius instead of rubbish S13
In other words: no got to catch them all |

Just so you all know, I'm still doing this and I've made huge progress. Thing is, I've gotten really fucking ocd about this, and now I'm correcting every small detail, like EVERYTHING, from the offset rims come from the catalog to the muffler tips that come stock on the car and flaps. Also, I've corrected the chase cameras on most cars to the ones that are used on the more recent mods (more upclose and not as above the car). Then, I've replaced the stock HUD to the forza one, for ALL cars. Looks way way cleaner and more modern.
What I'm not doing though is the fucking needle pins in the interior for cars that have them messed up, and also driver position. Also, I've figured out how to make cars properly appear at the dealers (was a revealation to me lmao), at the night races and all that, so you can basically play without crashes at all, and everything works perfect. Only two games have this aspect completed tho, so i gots to keep going. Next, I'm trying to make the quite popular engine decoration mods actually usable, i.e. by making them usable as cylinder headcovers. This has worked out quite nicely, with the 4G63, 3S-GTE, RB20, Ford 1600RS and I think a couple others. Lastly, it's no secret that there are quite a few mods of the same car available, so its real hard to choose the best one. So what I've done, I've decided to use a few mods of the same car, but making them as different models in-game. For example, three different mods of a BMW E34. One version can be an M5, the other a 525i, and the third a 540i or a 518i or whatever. With the as correct as possible engines and rims and all that shit. This way you have a lot of variety. Think that's pretty cool. Think that's all for now. No screens, sorry |

Now I have a little question. How do you change the color of the car as it comes from the catalog? For example most of the stock slrr cars are white, but the MC is gray and superduty is blue. So I was wondering how do I change it myself, because most cars are white. I tried changing the color IDs in the .rpks of the cars, and partially succeeded, the car does come in a different color from the catalog, but the problem is that it's not paintable anymore, it only has that ONE color. So I am wondering how do i change the default color properly so it's paintable and all
Added 11 minutes later: As you can see the car itself is blue, but the color button is white. And you can click it as much as you want the color of the car stays the same, only the button changes This post was edited by miegalius (2017-05-31 19:05, ago) |

If you change texture id in rpk, you have also change it in cfg in this case - it's the cfg that says the fame what texture is paintable

Okay, so the BMW E34 lineup is finished. I don't know why did I spent so much time on these but here it is lol. All cars pictured are how they come from the catalog (except for the colors) From left to right: M5 Touring, 518i, 525i, 535i (offscale, and very smart of me paining it red to stand out even more lel), 540i, M5, ACS Silhouette S5. There are a couple more that didn't fit here, but those are just variations of the M5. The 518i uses stock slrr inline 4 with Diego's RWD trans and exhaust header, and Roli's BMW headcover. The 540i has the Devil's V8 built to correct specs (BMW headcovers, 4 liters in displacement, it is overpowered tho (356 HP) will try to sort that out). All the others use the M54B30, stock version for the 525i and 535i and modified intake for the M5s and S5. Not perfect, but there's no s38 available, and the specs are almost correct. The weights are also corrected. And finally, all of them have the hood opening on how it should be (grill hinged).
why am i doing this pls help |

thanks, but all of this is nearly done
it is done. The first part is done. The first part that ended up being done is the 90s european cars. And, well, it includes all european cars from the years 1990-2000 give or take i couple of years, i may have included a car or two that doesn't fit in that gap but it fits in with the overall vibe. So, i present here the car list with the respective authors: Alfa Romeo 155 - Guardo,Krzysiell & DjMicho Audi RS2 coupe and cabrio - CorradoSKJ Audi S3 8L - speedy Audi S4 B5 - Cichutki Audi 100 C4 - Roli Audi A8 - Roli BMW 540i E34 - Maryus_x90 BMW E31 - DIMAN-333 BMW 525i E34 - Staff BMW E34 M5 - AC_Schnitzer BMW E34 - Kare & Jaguar BMW E34 Touring - Guffi /OLC Workshop/ BMW E36 Compact - Roli BMW E36 Coupe - Thyago95 BMW M Coupe - Franco BMW E36 Touring - Franco BMW E36 Sedan - Classic BMW E38 - Roli BMW E34 - Skerdzius Opel Calibra - Daywhite_81 Citroen XM - Hard Fiat Coupe - Big Boss93 BMW E34 M5 - Filipovic BMW E36 M3 - Franco Mercedes-Benz E500 - Edis145-M_Power Ford Escort MK5 - Robban_9000 Ford KA - Kick Buttowski, Svander Volkswagen Golf MK3 - Thyago95 Volkswagen Golf MK3 - Wichur Seat Ibiza - Thyago95 Mercedes-Benz W140 - Tariell Renault Laguna - DC Mercedes-Benz R129 - addi / guardo Mercedes-Benz W210 - addi Mercedes-Benz C140 - addi Peugeot 106 GTi - Thyago95 Peugeot 106 - Thyago95 Peugeot 406 - ??? The game doesn't crash. You have to try really hard to get a CTD. It's very stable. Every little error has been fixed. Carreer mode is playable. Car Dealers work, I repeat, all cars had the shit fixed out of them. I also included the clean daytime Valo fix, that disables day time racing, but improves stability dramatically and reduces lag, so I went with it. What else. Idk yall will have to see this for yourselves. I think I did a pretty good job xD. So anyway, I'm thinking of uploading this as a base game with a few cars and then uploading a few car packs as DLCs, grouped by manufacturer. Because uploading all this at once will result in a file with the mass of a black hole. so yeah, tell me what you think p.s. this is just only one game out of like 20. yeah. 19 more of these ar coming... Added 3 minutes later: forgot to mention, where possible I used the sounds from minedrit's shift2 soundpack, they work great |
