Its about time... Starting this RP with fresh motivation and inspiration from all of the wonderful things that have occured on this forum. Not planning to restart anytime soon. There is going to be alot of reading, as ive not taken pictures at all during this little chapter.
Now to the story, shall we?

Prolouge

"Shit! He's catching up!", i take the last spray of NOS in the hope of pulling away, he's got atleast 50HP more than me. Great! I spot an offramp leading back to LA!
If only there wasnt this huge pile of traffic... Ill try to go through it guess, I accelerate and swerwe between trucks and cars, Passing atleast 50 cars, I dont see the red FR-S anymore.

Good! Now's my only chance to pull away! I enter the offramp at atleast 160KM/H, Tires are squeling, Im sweating like mad.

I still dont see the FR-S. Maybe he gave up? Wait no... Ah shit. Now im in Downtown, Being chased by a crazy FR-S. And a shitton of cops are out because of the huge streetrace goin' down.

This just stinks trouble, Now i have 2 choices, giving up, or try to lose him.

I decide to try to lose him, Hell, downtown is my backyard after all! I downshift, accelerate and take corners without caution! The adrenaline is pumping!

He is still on my tail! Ok, this is how im going to do! Im going to fake that im going to the left, and then im going to turn right instead! This will definately work!

Alright, here we go!

*CRASH*

"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!" He crashed into my rear right fender! The car slides out of control, in 140KM/H.

Everything is in slowmotion, i know that this is not going to end well! I slide into the opposite lane.

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!"

And from that point on, everything became black, and there was pain. Alot. Of. Pain.

Chapter 1: Beginning, again...

[7 MONTHS LATER]
"Hmm, no, that one is too expensive"- I mumble quietly to myself. I really need a car, or else i wont make it to street race next month.

"Oh hey! Look at this one, 9000 miles, Good condition, Everything stock, No engine, The harness for the engine is gone too... Hmmm", I mumble once again, What about a V8? And not any V8, a 2UZ, The engine from a Lexus! (The LS400 especially). Last year, I raced a SC300 that had been swapped with one, I got fascinated by it and have been in love since.

Anyways...

Since the crash, I've been saving up alot of money, And earlier this month, I had saved enough money to buy a new project car! I hope this car is relatively cheap, I'm now determined to buy an 2UZ and put it in a car.

"Lets see, What's the price...? 4000 dollars? My budget is 10000$, So i have to be careful about where and when i buy parts. I guess i'll have to work a bit overtime at the gas station. I gonna' check with my friend Phil, He's the local shop owner and he should have some info on where i can get my hands on one or maybe he can get one for me.

[1 WEEK LATER]

Things are going well right now! I just picked up the car i was looking at, It's a S13.

The engine bay after i cleaned it with a high pressure washer.

And the extremely clean trunk, it's actually pretty wierd how clean it is.

Phil got a 2UZ for me, Low miles, No damage or abuse, That's atleast what he told me. I paid 1500$, I think that is really good price. Saving more money means that i have more money for other parts if required.

Continuation

The engine and transmission is now sorted out and the car is actually ready to be test driven for the first time!
The only problem now is the stock suspension which is made for a small KA24DET, Not a 2UZ. Also, i still havent got wider rims or atleast better tires, I think it's going to have no problems at all with burning some rubber.

Oh and i also figured out the exhaust setup, Straight pipe.

Actually, i dont want to drive it yet since it doesnt have grip and therefore cant show its full potential.

I'll give Phil a quick call and see if he has aftermarket suspension parts for the RPS13.

[2 HOURS LATER]

It turns out, Phil didnt have parts in stock, But he ordered them and they should arrive from Japan in about 2 days.

I guess im going to sit at the drawing board and think about how the car should look.

(Sorry for lack of new posts, my computer broke down back in december)

After the Race

Sadly, I got no footage from the race yesterday, But my new parts will arrive today!
Oh man, I raced with the RPS13 yesterday and there was just constant wheelspin.

Somehow, I still came in 2nd place, winning around 6 grand, Too bad though, 1st place was originally 8 grand but was changed to 10k because of betting.

Anyways, I ordered some more stuff, New tires and wheels, a handling package, a catback muffler because it's too loud (140db+), And a better ECU (Megasquirt).

Those parts together costed around 7650 dollars, Which is 1650 dollars over budget already, And that are not even all of the parts i bought. Yay.

[A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER]

I just picked up the new parts for the RPS13. Earlier today, I started to take off parts that were going to get replaced.

Before:

After:

The fitment is not perfect and i still need to get a paintjob. But the exhaust sounds as good as it looks. Hnnnnng, V8 rumble!

Daily Driver Suprise!

Well, I actually dont have a car to drive to work with, And the RPS13 is just impossile to drive on public roads.
So today i went to look at my new daily driver, Its been driven by an old racer lady and her son, The old lady's a famous racer in East Valo, Where im actually moving to in 6 months, So look forward to that!

It has rolled around 25000 kilometers and is actually in extremely good condition!

It looks like the engine has been taken about for a re-build or something because the engine bay is SHINY-clean, No really, It almost sparkles.

The cam belt was changed 1500 kilometer ago, The interior is amazingly clean, Almost looks like brand new tires, Disc brake swapped rear brakes instead of drum brakes.

"The paint has seen better days" she says, "But i recently refurbished it with some good-ol' turtle wax", That explains why the paint is so shiny on the exterior.

It has the stock exhaust, But has some really nice headers installed so theres a little bit of rumble, Stock suspension, Stock engine, A blank canvas for me.

Its a 1994 Honda Civic Si. It has the D16Z6 Honda Single Cam engine + Mad SOHC-VTEC. The only problem the car has is a bad vacuum leak somewhere which results in really bad idle, Otherwise it is almost flawless.

# Zero : That looks mint! Really clean for a civic, Turbo?

Maybe happening in the future, But not right now.

Reveal, Oh and a little bit of racing...

"Oh wow man, You really have overcome yourself again, Jake"-I admire the RPS13 as it rolls out of the drying-chamber in the paintshop.
My friend Jake is the best painter i've ever been to, this guy has always suprised me with the outcome of his works.

"The crystal white with extra thick clearcoat came out just, Stunning. It looks like the car is soaked in liquid glass!"

The camera doesnt do it justice, You have to see the car in real life to really see how gorgeous it is. Really.

Oh and dont worry about the dots on the front bumper, Drove into a filthy puddle.

[THE NEXT DAY, AFTER WORK]

"What the hell?"- A Jetta wants to race me in the middle of the night! Oh this is just like last year! That goddamn FR-Z that crashed into me.

That guy keeps flashing the lights at me, "Oh what the hell, Bring it on!"

I shift down into 3rd gear, The little D16 revs up to 5000 rpms! I'm quickly accelerating on the downhill, Oh the adrenaline is pumping again!

We race through the corners, Left and right, Back and forth.

I start to pull away, and then there was a loud bang, But it was not from my car.
I look in the rear view mirror, and there is a huge bulge! What was previously a hood is now a . There's oil everywhere... On the windsheild, Under the car, On the fenders, Just, Everywhere!

The guy naturally stops, And so do i. He is in tears, It looks like he is just 17. Poor guy.

"I worked so hard to get it running, Only for it to blow up 2 days later..."

I ask him "Is there any way that i can help you? I feel bad for racing you now."

He answers "Could you tow me to my house?"

I respond "Ofcourse, where do you live?"

"blablabla 15th avenue, blablabla generic adress"

I respond "Im also going to that block, i actually live a couple of 100 meters away from you!"

To be continued, probably tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

Chapter 2: Valo City

There was a note under my windshield wiper on the RPS13 the other day.
The note read "Hey! I would like to buy your car! We can talk more over the phone.

My number is: *Insert Generic Phone Number Here*"

Well, Am i going to sell the car or not? I mean, I need the money as im moving to east valo, And that is for various reasons.

The actual "street racing scene" has been dying out since 5 years back. Back then i drove a green Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, Everyone called me Kevin "Walker" Pinter as a reference/joke to the first FnF movie.

But the street racing in Valo is at it's top right now and havent been this alive since 2003, Which is more than 10 years ago!

(It's crazy how time just flies huh)

Also, there is no actual racers here anymore.

Only stanceboi's and Tj Hunt people.

Also, Phil's Imports and Tuning has been branching out lately, And just so happened to branch out in Valo too.

[Back to the RPS13...]

I decided to call the guy/girl who left a note on the RPS13.

It was a woman who wanted to buy a car for her husbands anniversary.

I recognized the voice directly as it was one of my dads old friends that he used to race with back in the day.

She went professional and my dad stayed at home and raised a family instead.

Anyways she bid 9500 for it and i couldnt miss out on this deal.

I moved in to a house near my pal Jimmys shop, So i'll be spending alot of time working at his place.

Its almost like a scrap yard, but alot more passionate and in a smaller scale.

We take all of the good stuff left on the car, Sell it, And then we recycle the bad stuff, Its usually the chassis or bumpers and that kind of stuff that gets recycled.

I also had the oppurtunity to see one of my best friends Steve, He owns and runs a tuning shop in east Valo.

So, Now i live in valo, I only have my Civic, I have alot of cash from the RPS13, And i have a new project, So look forward to that in the next update!

Cheers!
