Wednesday Night
Im driving through the city center in the civic and as im pulling up at the lights
A blue AE86 pulls up and the window rolls down. I roll mine down and i hear "when it goes green, im going, you best follow" So he revs his 86 up and i rev the EG up. Bouncing limiters at the lights... Green! I launch as hard as i could and i wheelspin away, he's on my ass already! Racing up a hill, i start slowing down then a corner comes up, im round it within seconds as he drifts round. I hear something spool behind me, woosh!! Hes past and gone further on past the corner, I downshift and rev upto 9k RPM's then next minute a large crunch from the engine. I instantly pull over and pop the hood... Smoke rises up into the air and i see oil leaking everywhere... A stupidly big hole in the block. "Shit!" Ive blown the engine and now need a tow home... I manage the turn the car around and let the handbrake off and slowly crawl down the hill trying to retain speed! I stopped at the side of the road at the bottom and called a towing company. This is the aftermath This post was edited by Zero (2017-02-16 22:49, ago) |

Damn. A Tureno with a fully upgraded 4AGZE? Very rare. I'd say go for it and if you need help on the civic, you can bring it by my place since I've always worked on vtechs. It was alwas because a kid missed a gear or two-_-

Yea man ill bring the EG down some time and i may have already made a move with the trueno
Added 1 hour 18 minutes later: After arriving with my new Hachi i started taking pictures and listing the specs out for this update. The car is a 1985 AE86 Sprinter Trueno. It has had a kouki rear conversion since it was originally zenki (being the early model). The Engine is a fully built HKS 4A-GZE and makes around 290bhp and it has a modified T50 trans so it can go well over 130 since stock they topped out around 110 or 118 mph. It also came with the exact same foglights that are in initial d and im buzzing because of that. The suspension is HKS Hipermax III's and is lowered to a moderate 6" all round and has SSR Longchamp XR-C's which are 16". The car also has a really race car scene going on in the interior. A Hydro E-Brake, HKS Gauges in the center and right air vent on the drivers side with a switch box in the middle for the fans and gauges. A TODA N1 Exhaust sits pretty at the back making incredible noise at high rpm. Someone be itsuki and ill be takumi Here's some pictures: This post was edited by Zero (2017-02-17 18:13, ago) |

So over this week i have been ordering parts and something special for the 86.
I bought a TAKATA Harness, new sway bars and poly bushings as the originals were really worn, a strut bar for the engine bay and rear trunk. The main part was the custom roll cage which cost me $800 all together and it was a direct bolt in which was great as no welder! I also stripped the interior and door cards as its a racecar now |

TINY UPDATE!!
I scrapped the civic... I couldnt be bothered to deal with the blown k24 so i took all the coils and wheels off and then called a local scrapyard to collect her and i got $200 also which is pretty good so im looking for another S-Chassis! Yes another one but im not going to be making it a missile this time. Ive seen a real nice blue s13 type-x for sale close to me and the owner is wanting 2000 or trade for something so ive gotta think if i wanna spend 2k or trade one of my babies for it... FINANCES: 3432.5 - 800 = 2632.5 2632.5 + 200 = 2832.5 |

Thanks man, the civic had to go sadly.. I wanted to keep it but with the engine blown and the d16 gone i didnt want to source another one.
Added 31 minutes later: So this is pretty quick but i managed to work the owner of the Type X down to 1750 as it does have a dying SR20 which is a good thing since i could swap in a better engine.. Pictures later (about two hour haha) Added 1 hour 13 minutes later: So here it is.. The car is a 1994 Nissan 240SX Type-X in original starfire blue pearl or BN6. It is basically all original apart from it has coilovers, a recaro pole position and a KEY!S Racing Steering Wheel. The engine is a stock SR20DET Red Top and makes around 210bhp but does have a stupid BOV which im replacing as its really irritating. The interior is really clean and hasnt been stripped luckily... It cost me 1750 like i said earlier but it was worth it however the engine is dying so gotta find a suitable replacement or do a full rebuild with maybe forged internals? They are in a completely different colour but ill get them sprayed along side some other parts i have for it but thats for another update.. |

So ive been wanting a 86 for a while but i have one... I want a 20v 4A Black Top not a 16v Blue Top so ive been looking and some guy has made a real clean, no rust example of the Initial D Hero car. Ive offered a swap but i keep the cage and seat etc. Worth it?
Added 22 minutes later: Here's the pictures i was sent from the guy, it looks sick tbh. This post was edited by Zero (2017-03-16 18:15, ago) |

So i took the Type-X to a solo session at my local track and did some wee skids! It can slide but i think the steering rack is on its way out as its really sluggish so i may buy another while i also took possession of the Initial D rep 86 just gotta go pick it up so i can make money buy selling everything i bought!

So i took my new Hachi to a mall to take some pics since it was sick weather in Osaka. Obvs being a car guy i chose a corner all by myself (Loneliness Intensifies).
Im so happy with the AE8 Chassis in general, its just simple but brilliant at the same time! May be a Corolla but its still a classic Toyota!. The Car has a feeling thats indescribable. The fact it says sprinter just shows its rapid obvs! Its all because of the 20v Lump under the bonnet! 240bhp doesnt mess around. Ive already fooled a couple Honda's on the C1 when picking it up from Tokyo. The car has a 20v Black Top A4-GEU Motor that has all TODA parts basically. TODA High Lift Cams and TODA 20v Pistons etc. I can go higher bhp but i would rather keep this engine not blow it up!. Its only done 87k on the shell and 17k on the engine after the rebuild with TODA Parts, the block was refurbished and skimmed etc. The best part is the Genuine RS Watanabe Type - R's 16". Anyway enough of the babbling, admire the beauty above! |

So ive come to the conclusion of selling my VR38 300ZX and my 2UZ 180sx as i dont drive them and tbh i prefer the two cars i got recently and they are taking up space that i could use for a GTR.
The 300ZX is up for sale at 5.5k and the 180sx is up for 3.7k, any offers? PM or reply here, cba with classifieds and stuff. |

Its grippy but im going too fast for em to check haha
Added 56 minutes later: So im looking for a R32 GTR and i may have found one but its 7k and i kinda have 3.5k so i may sell my two cars to a dealership nearby as they take them and i may get a good price since its nissan and they are cool so. But all im gonna say is thats its blue but not bayside blue and its a colour from the original R32 palette. This post was edited by Zero (2017-03-22 21:24, ago) |
