Round 2 here we go!This round of STC88 Drift Con was at Ebisu as well, but this time we drifted on the Minami track which is the most familiar for me. Despite knowing the track i hit the wall with the bumper a few times, but that's because i tried a bit harder than usual. There's only cosmetic damage though so i kept on drifting with everyone till the end of the day. That's all for today, i can't wait for the rest of the entries and round 3 next week! |

Trip to OsakaWell, like i told you - last friday i went to Osaka to visit Mackay. When i got to his garage i was amazed by all the cars there, even if i've seen many cars like those in the past. I had a great time meeting him and checking out his garage but his R32 GTR was why i got there. I wanted one for a long time, well i had a R32 GTS-t for some time but that just wasn't the real deal. After winning at round 2 of STC88 Drift Con i got some money to spend, and i was supposed to get a prize car too but the dealership had some problems so i decided to get a car myself. It set me back for way too much but when i saw this GTR was for sale i just couldn't resist!! His Fairlady Z found a new owner too but it was still in Mackay's garage when i was there so i asked him if i could give it a try. This car is so much fun, i mean, definitely not as fast as the R32 but it's fun in a different way. It's so lightweight that it doesn't need much more than a NA RB25, but ITB's make some more power and a lovely sound! Such an awesome car, one of my favorite classics. Maybe i'll get something like this some day... I drove back to Yashio with this thing though. Mackay was next to me on the highway for some time before we split up. When he took the exit, i noticed that the road was almost empty so i tried what this monster can do, he probably heard that lol. It's capable of speeds much higher than the stock speedometer so that will have to be taken care of. Long story short, this must have been my best 500km trip ever. So now i have 2 RB26 powered beasts. Thanks Mackay! |

Ahh.. It's awesome to see that you two got along together well, GTR is definitely in good hands. Oh yeah, that speedometer lol, after 180km/h it starts showing nonsense, but I kid you not, from 0-180 all it takes is around 8 seconds if I am sure, only launched it like this few times, I even have footage of it, all footage will be put in our Shops promo video sometime later in the future. But anyways take care man and enjoy your new car!

This week i was doing pretty much nothing, just enjoying my GTR. I did some pulls on the highway and went way over 180 km/h a few times so i figured i could change the speedometer. After a few days of searching i found this Nismo gauge cluster in UpGarage. Parts like this are quite hard to find nowadays but i guess i had some luck this time. I also took off the Defi RPM gauge because the Nismo one goes all the way up to 11 too. For now i'm not sure if it shows the speed and RPM accurately but i'll check it sometime.
A few days ago Mackay showed up to see the GTR, and guess what - he had another GTR. I guess he just couldn't do without one! A friend of his was with him too, with another GTR! I have to say, terrorizing the streets of Tokyo was really fun. Mackay will tell you more about this soon in his RP. |

Yeah.. I guess I should really post an update and reveal the GTR because a lot of people are talking about it haha, sadly I do not have enough time right now, but I will try to do it as soon as possible. |

Finally backSo, i'm back from the trip in Japan which took way longer than i planned, again. I don't mind that though, i stayed long enough to win a drift competition, participate in a sick S chassis meet and even buy a GTR!! The S chassis meet was an amazing event, even if S chassis are quite common both in Japan and USA it was something new seeing so many of them gathered in one place. I also met with many people from the forums here but i got caught up with Mr. Stance for a little longer cause we both had RB26 swapped cars. Unfortunately there are no pics of the event but i can tell you everyone had loads of fun there. Anyway, i've been in the States for a few weeks now so some things have changed here too, first i checked out the shop in LA. There were 2 cars less, the FC RX7 was sold to Mr. Stance (same guy from who i bought it lol) and the E36 is now in South Korea. I wanted to drift the hell out of it but since i saw that 11000rpm was looking for one i wanted to help him out, i think BMWs in general are quite rare in Korea. While i was in Japan, Brandon managed to get the Mark 2 registered! I was thinking to use it as my daily but i'll let him have fun with it for now. My Chevelle was still there, i was so happy to see it after so much time! After some rest i drove it all the way back to Oklahoma because there are some projects still to do. I brought the R32 with me and since the S14 wasn't old enough to import i decided to put it on sale. Check it out here! And i finally took some time to work on the AE86 which is now drivable! Wheels are way too big now so i had to take off the fenders, these are just to get it rolling for now. I got a set of BC Racing coilovers and a used 2000 Celica GTS front big brake kit from eBay and found stock Celica rear brakes in a used part shop. *LINK* Before installing the brakes i cleaned them up and replaced the brake pads. I also installed this hydraulic handbrake because why not. I've never even tried to start the 3S until now, first it didn't start but then i saw that i forgot to connect some wires. Having all the running gear on, the 86 was ready to go! Sure, it's missing half of the body and it's not even painted yet but i just had to take it for a quick test drive around the block. Another car that i haven't touched for a while is the Golf, now this has changed too. I decided to make a major change on it a long time ago but never got around to do it. First i put on Regamaster Evos that i brought from Japan and then i decided that it will no longer be TDI powered. Not sure what to swap in at the moment but i already tried something cause there was an engine still laying around in the garage. This was just a test fit, but what do you think? |

We will miss you here, but I am sure you will comeback sooner or later haha, maybe we will visit you someday in the states too. I'm happy to see that R32 is good hands, I still think about it from time to time. It's matter of days now when we will see you on 1320video or something lol, I also wonder how it would do against your drag Soarer.

# MACKAY :Of course i will, there's always something going on there! For now i'm not sure if i should register the R32 but if i do someone will definitely catch me going too fast on the streets haha. I think it wouldn't stand a chance against the SC300 cause that's a fully drag oriented build. # skip :Yeah it finally got some love after so long! And the Mark 2 is a daily for now so don't worry |

Thanks guys!
I really need a truck. Or a proper daily.Today i went for a ride with my Chevelle to pick up a SR20VE, 11000rpm was looking for a VVL cylinder head and luckily i found a complete engine in Dallas, Texas. I wonder what he's up to with it... guess we'll see some time in his RP! Only a dumbass like me would go pick up an engine with a 900HP Chevelle, but it fit in the back seat! I took off some parts and put them in the trunk before that, but making it hold still was the real challenge here. Rear seats will probably need a cleanup but that's what i get for not having a daily. Now i ended up with another SR20 bottom end and some more parts so i guess the Golf will get a SR20. Stay tuned for some more AE86 updates soon, Skip offered me to find some parts for it in Japan. I need a whole lot of parts so he has no idea how much work he'll have with that! |

Parts, parts and partsFinally the 86 is starting to look like a car! Skip wanted to get rid of the old bumpers from his 86 and told me that he had a container available so i took that chance and bought as many parts as possible. He found almost everything i needed in UpGarage, thanks mate! The only thing i didn't get was the headlight covers, trims and motors, luckily i found all these on eBay. Well i saw a set of OEM headlights on UpGarage too but they were kinda expensive. As an alternative Skip found a set of Raybrig Multi Reflector headlamps, they look even better with clear lenses. I had some more work assembling the headlights but i'd say it was worth it! So this is how it looks now. First off - bodykit! Vertex front bumper and sideskirts and a Run Free rear bumper, it'll need plenty of work before preparing it for paint though. I also got a FRP hood and trunk, well i already had a trunk but this one has a pretty cool wing on it, looks like it's a TRD wing. (also weight reduction bro!!) And let's not forget that sick TRD sunstrip, thanks to Radcoon for that! It finally got an exhaust system too! I bought it a long time ago from Marcus, it was from a S15 so it didn't fit straight away lol. That's why i like buying parts randomly, you never know when you'll find them useful! One taillight and front indicators were missing, now that's been taken care of too. They probably don't work but i'll figure something out. By the way would you look at those wheels?! I threw them on just to make the fenders fit and to get a better look at its stance cause the previous wheels had too big tires, i'm so surprised by how well they fit! I got a set of TRD strut bars for the front and back, i bought a bolt in rollcage as well but i'll try to fit that later. Not only does the front strut bar increase chassis stiffness, it makes the engine bay look good too. And yes, those are ITB's on the 3S-GE! They are from an AE101, Skip found them in UpGarage like the rest of the parts. Trumpets were not included so he bought a set from Toda Racing. Next step on the 86 is a respray, i guess! The body parts i got need some serious work before painting though. I also bought some more parts that i didn't show you yet: A bolt in rollcage, an Altezza 6 speed gearbox, an Ogura racing clutch and a TRD LSD. I may do some more engine mods before fitting that stuff, the Beams already has an impressive power output for its size but i'll try to squeeze some more out of it. Also i have a spare rear bumper from Skip's 86, it's a Do-Luck replica. Neither of us likes it so if anyone wants it let me know! |

Thanks Erwin! Respray won't be very soon cause most of the parts are pretty beaten up, however they were cheap af so i can't complain haha. Can't wait to hear it with the ITB's, engine will probably need a tune up to make them work properly. |
