Don't realy know how to get started at this so i'll start with a little discription on me and my garage

I'm Jo, 29 years old, Belgian and been into cars eversince i could walk. Everyone knows how the carpassion grows the moment you got your licence, so did mine. My daily car is a mitsubishi GTO ( also known as Mitsu GTFO )

After a shitload of little projects i bought a skyline R34 GT-R, a real piece of shit if you ask me. All i got was a damaged shell, severe broken E-bay suspensionkit and 1 stock GT-R rim with a bald tire on it.
I bought this hoopty for 350 euro

My first plan was make it a street legal track car, primered the entire car, bought another set of e-bay shocks and a bit of race parts like carbonfiber hood and trunk.

But on a cold night after a good drink with my friends at the bar that plan drasticaly changed. I crashed MitsuGTFO and was rushed to hospital with severe back injuries.

After 2 years of hard labor on getting back on my legs and getting strong enough to work on the skyline, i did a full remake on the original plan for it. Race car idea was no longer posible since i need comfort for my back so i went back to the drawning board. A full blown GT-R custom kit, bagged for ultra comfort, custom paint, rollcage, custom made porsche GTR3 rims, no money was saved on this car.

Estimated value of the GT-R is around 70K euro.

But like everyone knows, a project car stays a project car so it's up for sale.
So hit me up if you are interested.

As for the near future? Probably rebuild MitsuGTFO :D

( please! if i can improve this, tell me how cuz im a complete noob in RP )

Neither was i ... so unless the GT-R isnt getting sold, the GTFO will have not enough funds to be rebuild :(

i was thinking of around 70K

Added 26 minutes later:

Bought a workingvan of an old man who left it for sale in 2001.

This shed was sitting in the grass for as long as im owning the "shop" so i stopped by to see what and how..
An old note was laying on the seat with a phonenumber on it so i called and found out it had a chevy smallblock in it, 400 000 miles on it and it was directly imported from America in 1992. When i asked how much he wanted for it he said if i could get it running i could have it for 100V$
After a small checkup i noticed it was running superlean so i adusted the carb and had it running like a kitten.

So, due a bussy weekend i didn't make it on time to upload the pictures but here's a sneakpeak on my newest Hoopty2DiamondCar.
I saw an old school friend posting a picture of his granddad's ae86 saying " who wants this hoopty? "
Ofc i noticed he didn't had a clue on what he was giving away so i instantly reacted! I drove 2 hours and made the cheapest deal in my life, bought it for only 200V$ :troll:

Now im not sure what im gonna do ... either patch this beauty up and sell it to restore the GTFO or sell the GTFO for scrap and make this my daily car?
Any idea's?

I desided to let the gtfo go, metalscrappers payed 150V$ for and i could have the rims and the steeringwheel

That means im keeping the AE 86 and make it my new daily ^^

Sadly the 86 is a bit sick :( it's puffing white smoke clouds ( allmost as if it's vaping :D ) and it has a nasty bent in the rear suspensionarm. On the brightside of life i found out the car was wrapped in black. So list to do:

-Buy suspensionarms allround the car
-Check the engine and in worst case buy a new engine
-Buy dirtcheap rims and restore them
-Buy ebay coilovers
-Repaint

I stripped the damaged bodyparts allready today, only the fenders are a 50/50 of either scrap or reparable.

Aight, time to say goodbye to the old shop, local government declared it unstable ( cuz the bastards want to build flats on it ) so i had to look for a new spot. Found this garageblock in the newspaper so i desided to go check it out. It's only 3 km from where the old garage is so everything is quickly transported. The landlord asks 450V$/month water and enviromenttaxes included, the only thing i have to take care of is electricity and the old boiler needs a replacement ( wich i got in the old garage so no money spend )

Contractsigning is tomorrow ^^

Since i changed of cars more than the avarage of guys on here change underpants ... i got a new car :D had to opportunity to trade the Bae86 for a RX7 FC3s ( more info underneed the picture)

Its a mind clean car, besides a bit of dents and scratches, only 120 000 km's on the clock. oh well not completely stock cuz 5ZIGEN's, aftermarket mufflers and lowered springs by KW. The previous owner was so generous to give me a brand new rollcage with it.

Added 51 minutes later:

oh yeah small edit!!!!!

I might have a buyer for the skyline :woot: !! Dude lives in germany on 6 hours from me, he'll be coming over to check on it ( either it's a joke or this dude is realy driving 6 hours just to see if he likes the car ... like what the fuck ) somewhere next week between monday and wednesday. i'll keep you guys updated :bananajump:

MONEY IN THE POCKET LADS!!! The german dude came, he saw, came again :lolhitting: , he paid and left off again!

Dude ( let's call him Marcus due privicy of the buyer ) drives a minth Rotary powered protege! Only judging on how sick the Protege looked like i know the skyline will be in verry good hands.

Oh well about the deal... we agreed on 70 000V$ + the rims on the prodege.

Time to build new shit ( and repare the RX7 FC3s since it has dents and scratches and god knows what else is gonna be unpleasant surprise when i get it registrated )

UPDATETIME!!

I picked up a stock bodykit at the scrapper for dirtcheap ( 100V$ ). When i was at it i saw some brand new brembo's laying around so i though hell why not upgrade the brakes since this is gonna be my daily from now on. I came home and installed everything.

I ran into a "small" problem ... the rims that were on the RX7 ( the 5zigen's ) were to small so i rang up a buddy of mine who had some spare rims from his previous stanceproject and asked if i could borrow them till i found some new rims. Thank god i helped him out alot in the past so he instantly agreed to bring them over.

I sat on a chair for hours ( yes thats how i try to get inspiration ) looking at the car ( with paperbags over the rims  ) and i figured out the stock bodykit wasnt gonna do the job for my taste so i went to the local jdmshop and picked a small kit up. payed for the entire kit ( bumpers, rear fenders and a spoiler wich isnt shown on the pics cuz techcheckup isnt allowing the spoiler over here in belguim ) 800V$.

5:40 PM ... techcheck and registration closes at 6:30pm ... better rush the TowHoe with the rx behind it!

Soooooow .... about the winterbeater ....

I saw this add on "Kapaza" ( basicaly a website to sell everything from your used panties to your girlfriend and her sister )
When i contacted the dude he was all like "yeah dude it's a mint hoopty, it just need some bodywork and some interior love"

For that price i realy dont give a damn about the interior and the body, aslong as it drives and breaks im happy so i drove an hour to pick it up.
Driving home with this hoopty was a pure hell!!! it smelled like kebab, no exhaust, a balt flat steelie and the window kept going down.
The smell was so bad, my girlfriend could smell it ( she was driving the TowHoe behind me ) so i think im gonna let it sit outside for a couple of days with the doors open to get the smell out of it

Lmfao love the ad, sooooo cheesy... and at that price you can drive it for the winter then either resell it, part it out or scrap it and make ur money back! Its like getting a paid for driving that car for the winter.

Altough it's gonna need some money spend to it cuz i had a little " setback " on it today when i did a burnout  pics will follow when i'm home

Oh my again an edit

Since i have to spend a bit money on making it "drivable" (read snowdrifting and crashing into all kinds of roadsigns and crap ) i am going to repair/keep it running with the profits i make out of the car ONLY so that means i spend 150V$ and that will be the only amount of V$ on this car.

Here's what im gonna do. Im going to make a little "list" of finances on the winterbeater ( thank you FastCars for letting me think about this with your comment ;) )

THE WINTERBEATER:
Bought the car: -150V$
Sold the BMW rims: +100V$
Sold some interiourparts: +20V$

A new day in the life of ShadowTuner, a new way of spending money without losing money
I bought a 2nd hand ( read 4th/5th hand ) bumper and kinda repaired the light ( fuck that, just broke off all broken parts and ducktaped the crap in it ) and i also managed to get some steelies with reasonable good tires on it.

THE WINTERBEATER:
Bought the car: -150V$
Sold the BMW rims: +100V$
Sold some interiourparts: +20V$
Bought bumper: -15V$
Bought steelies+tires: -50V$

On the sidenote, i ordered a nice bodykit for the RX7 :RICE:

I'll probably update this post with some nice snowhooning pictures cuz im going out tonight with the girlfriend and a friend of hers ( gonna let her shit her pants :D )

I completly forgot the pics of yesterday  ...

Long story short, she rushed out of the car after the last drift and puked
And i lost the rear bumper, had to pick it up and throw it in the trunk ffs! After some punching, screaming and swearing it clicked back in.

I'm having so much fun with this hoopty, i almost forgot i have to work aswel.

A friend directed a guy he knew to me for his suspension.

He wanted to lower it ( read close to slammed but yet not down to mother earth) with some KW Varriant 2's.

It's an improvement although he has to come back for adjust the front camber.

Oh my, 7 days have gone by, days full of work, a bit of pain, a huge smile and future planning.

Aight first of: Work ...

Winter is in our country and guess what? Fucktards crashing their stock cars so my bad, no pics on them peasants :catfight:

A bit of pain ...

ya'll know i "had" a winterbeater, right? Well that hoopty is a flatline now.. crashed it into a little snowpile with a huge rock hidden it :(. Broke the suspensionarm and shattered the absorber. Salvaged the engine and brought it to a cardealer. Here comes " A huge smile " :D remember i payed 150 V$ for it? Well i got 400 V$ for it without an engine and on 3 wheels

And here is why "Futureplanning"

While investigating the dealer's carpark, i found a mint S15 ... By the looks of it, it hasn't been thoughed in ages ( idk how you guys figure out if it's a "wanted" car or nah, i allways check for fingerprints on the doorhandles ).

Now for those who think "Oh hell nah he's gonna buy another jap" No sir, i'm not. Im just looking around what options are available. Besides, since the RX7 is on a secret mission(Wich i'll explain soon), the van is drinking more than me on a saturday night, and the girlfriend's mk2 is not an option for me ( she'll murder me if i scratch it ) i kinda need to find a reliable daily cruiser.
Any idea's on what i should buy? keep inmind i got money enough atm due the sell of the Skyline 2 weeks ago.

# FastCars : EVOOOOOOOOO!!!! Or a supra or a 4x4 truck.

4x4 isnt realy a thing for me since that would be the only type of car in the world i would leave bone stock :D
But i went to a cardealer today ( to pickup a car that was dropped of for some bodywork ) and i saw a couple of possible new projects. A supra mk4, an Evo3 and an Evo8. The evo3 drawed the most of my attention so i'll go back soon to have a closer look at it.

DISASTER!!!!!!

Whilest i was welding a small bolt on the floor of the RX7 shit went wrong, shit went wrong horribly and shockingly fast it went wrong!!

Im glad i managed to push the car out fast but yet i burned my hand on it so fuck my life twice --'
Interior is gone, nothing usefull left, paint and bodywork is burned to crisps!

This disaster leaves me with litarly no daily car ... the van is consuming way to much gas and oil to make it my daily ... i'm in a dead defining rush to find a temperary daily ride and i need it fast!!
