Welcome to the Swedshed!
My name is Pontus AKA Bamse and I got a garage near Örebro, Sweden. Hope you enjoy my storyline!

Added 8 minutes later:

So I bought my first car! It is a Volvo 855 GLT Year 1997 and it will be my daily driver atm, It is completely rust-free therefore the higher price (they're noramlly really cheap in Sweden!) And it drives like a charm! Might do some minor mods to make it somewhat unique but it will remain functional! Next up is to get the plates for it!

Thanks man! Already have done som mods on it! and yeah I like to do stuff the swedish way, so there will be some kind of unique cars around here!

Added 7 minutes later:

So some mods have already been done, Tinted the rear windows and rear windshield, also had some tint over so did the front lights also. I am happy with it so far, Might get some wheels later today!

Added 30 minutes later:

More mods! As I am from Sweden coilovers and lowering springs are no option, So I cut the springs down to 7" in the front and 6,5" in the rear. also got some Volvo Lysethia rims wrapped in 245/30-R17's for $650, wich is not that bad tbh. And I will fix that camber issue, already ordered new rear camber arms, will arrive tomorrow hopefully

Why? Are they illegal or something? (that wouldn't make sense, sice you've cut springs)

Haha no it is completely legal, here in sweden it is just a thing to cut springs instead of getting real lowering springs or coilovers :))

As I had nothing better to do I went ahead and bought myself a front Splitter like Smurf adviced me to, Also I got myself a Volvo R wing for cheap, Still waiting for the rear suspension parts to arrive so I can get the Camber sorted out and not have to worry about getting the tyres fucked. Also got the test plates on there, might use exact same plates later if admin can aprove the registration request!
Also got a little suprise for you next time I post guys! Hope you will like it!

Little Suprise? Not really as what I planned to buy got sold hours before I was going to go look at it, so I'll need to look for another one :/ But I went out and picked up the camber arms for the 855 and the shop they got delivered to had some mint Fikse Fm10's! I could not resist.. So V$1,000 later and some tyre swapping I got them on and put the lysethia's aside with the Columbias ^^

While I was on my way home I stopped by My local Vparts store and had an eye open for eyelids, found some for V$35 wich is a bargain!

And finally, While I was at my friends garage, he had some white 855R interior parts laying around, i asked him what he wanted for it and he said he wanted 125 for eferything, So now the car looks way better with white/black interior instead of the old black/wood! The rear door inner pannels are white like the front ones but could not get a good picture of it.

Damn those rims look good. You're lucky to be in Sweden, cause over here it's impossible to find Volvo parts and there isn't much online either.

Thanks! Just hit me up if you need anything, I can send it over to you if you need anything special that isnt around there! And those rims look wonderful on the GLT! Might look for a Moose Grille in like 30 min btw ^^

So, Suprise! I actually drove allmost 80 miles for this, but it was well worth it! I picked up a 200sx Sil80, wich is allmost litterally impossible to find in sweden. This one costed me $5,500 and that is not that bad considering the front end swap and that (once again) there is no rust, still have not checked under for rust but I am sure that there shouldn't be any. Past owner gutted the interior and put some burnout steelies in the back, but that I cant really complain ;)
Might do a front end swap as I am not sure wether to keep this or not, but one thing is for sure, I will get a turbo as this thing is slow asf and it WILL be lowered today, might as well go get myself some wheels for it so it looks a tad better (damn I love local car parts stores in sweden!) I'll be back in an hour or two and keep you updated on the progress ^^

The european 200sx s13 are turbo, kinda weird you found a CA18 one without it since the N/A ones are in japan.
Good purchase still, looking forward to see the build and the volvo, always been a fan of those volvo wagons

Thanks! The Volvo will soon get a complete engine overhaul, the stock 144hp isnt fun att all so I'll go turbo on that one too.

And for the 200sx, I also thought it was wierd, but i found out one of the past owners blew the original engine up and swapped it with a N/A Ca18 instead.. However that is no worries for me at all, as I wont keep the engine for to long anyways!

Added 1 hour 7 minutes later:

So on my way home I bought some TEIN Master Super Drift Coilovers so I could lower it properly. Wheels are on the way as we speak along with overfenders

Added 1 hour 51 minutes later:

So I know that it goes pretty fast between my posts, and i kind of apologize for that. First of all, I want to thank my friend John (Local friend here in Sweden) For helping me out with the 200sx. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't have gotten the overfenders fitted. And that guy is so aweseome he sold his Work WS-KF's to me! they were rediculously expensive but when money is no problem atm I really cant complain! So we got the fenders and wheels fitted aswell as raised the car quite a bit (inner fenders aren't cut yet...), Now I need to cut the inner fenders and get an alignment + some spacers in the front to get the fitment right, but that will be tomorrows job!

Also got myself a Volvo "Moose" grille for the GLT as well as I moved the front plate inside the window! The car is really starting to take shape now!

Went ahead and cut the inner fenders to get the car lowered, Now it sits pretty fine, scrapes on some speedbumps here in Örebro but not that bad actually. Later I got a new front end to swap with the ugly S13 front end that came originaly on the car for $200 on a local scrapyard. So as I lowered it in the Workshop I also took the pannels off

Aaaaand the broken rear bumper as well!

Went back to the Garage to mount the front end. And to be honest it doesn't look that "bad". I have ordered a Uras Type 4 kit (painted black as that was the only color option that was in stock) so it will look better by next week!

Oh and I forgot, I got a new steering wheel, but that is not that important to be honest xD

Got pulled over by the police on my way home from the garage today.. Got fined for the plate not being visible enough and the headlight tint.. so $220 and 1 hur of debatting wether I were allowed to drive it home or not later I finally could drive the car home to remove the tint and place the plate back were it apparently belongs, here is some pictures along with what happend

(And yes, The lights are restored to original, its just the ENB that makes it look dark)

I think you got pulled over because your plate is not really legit. And, is that a Ferrari badge on the grill? Where did you get that? :D

The police noticed they are test plates, but they let me go for this time. And That is a ferrari logo on the grill, but with modified with a moose instead of a horse! Got it from a local shop here in Sweden (it comes with the mod if that what you asked for). the main reason they stopped me though was the fact that they could not se the plate in the front haha

Lowered the Volvo even more, allmost dragging frame now. Dunno how short the springs are but there are not much left of them. Also removed the trunk badges to get a cleaner look, I dunno by you, but I love it!

Lovely lolvo, did you get the power upgrade yet?

OT: You should fix your siggy before i put a prius instead of it :D

4) Signature sizes are limited to 450x300 no higher than that. Try to not use long .GIF animations, anything over 2MB is over-kill really. Multiple images in the signature are a no go either, keep it minimal

So I've Done something. Decided to take back the order of the Uras kit and paint the car instead. Went with a darker and little deeper red as I love that color on S-chassis! Also got some Bride seats with Recaro 6-points along with a pedal stand. I did the paint myself so the quality is not the best but that does not matter atm as the car is not street legal anyway. Also sold the front bumper, bonnet and lights for a total of $150 as I have ordered new things that will be put on today ^^

Pedals and the wheel that I bought in the early days of owning the car:

And the seats:

So the bonnet came in along with the headlights today! I dunno bout the headlights yet, but they will probably look somewhat decent when the car looks more complete!
