Hey there, my name is Ryan and I just finished moving to LA from my home city Tampa. Not much to do there so I made a quick change and so far I am not regretting it. Around 3 days into LA I found an apartment and began unpacking all of my possessions. I turned on my Laptop and scrolled through LA's Craigslist. Went through a variety of cars from Acuras to Porsche's. After an hour of browsing I finally found the car I had been looking for.

The car I had managed to find was a E30 BMW 325i 2 door coupe, only has 65,291 Miles on it. Car came with the M20B25 Inline 6 producing a hefty 168hp and 163lb-ft of Torque. Sent the guy an email immediately after I read through the description. He said there wasn't any problems with the running gear or chassis, but he said he heard something from the motor end and explained that he couldn't diagnose it.

I walked down a few blocks from where I stay and there I saw it. Car was parked in the driveway, looked in great condition, minor scratch on the drivers side door but it isn't too noticeable. No dents, looked to be in great condition. Looked around the car and didn't notice anything else, no fluid leaks, gas tank isn't punctured. Bargained the guy down to V$3,000. We made the deal and I drove off back to the apartment, didn't notice any problems in power loss, or overheating/ticking/loud clutters. Car seemed fine. Parked it in the garage and went off to do the rest of the unpacking.

After that I went to inspect the car and sat inside, the interior seemed like it was newly refurbished, very taken care of and it was in great condition. No cracks on the dash, leather was not extremely wrinkly.

Took some more snaps of the car while I was unpacking stuff into the garage as well.

After all the unpacking was done I decided to take a little cruise outside of the city and it sure was a great run. The car drives well and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Big plans for this car!

Welcome to LA friendo, that E30 is so clean I'd eat off it (wouldn't actually). I was thinking of throwing a LA meetup, so keep in touch?

@ThatBoostedGuy: Thanks! Spent a while browsing and the E30 caught my eye out of most of the cars.

(Hello again! Sadly I've been busy the last few weeks and couldn't do much, but as of now I'll try to update sort of often, my last game got corrupted so I decided to give it a steady retry.)

So I'm back after a long while. Been hustling to pay my bills for the month and finally managed to save up for something big. But before we get to that I have to announce the "Bad" news first.

Bad news is the E30 started to sputter on me a week ago, I checked it out last week, nothing seemed to be wrong. Same gas as usual. So I decided to list the car on Craigslist LA for V$3,850. A younger kid, around age 16 looking for a first car came to me by email, asked about the car. Told him everything about it. Kid came by and picked her up. (To be honest he got fucked but yeah, really cheeky move.) So that was more money in my wallet.

Now to the good news after that long read.

I scrolled through Car Gurus and found a vehicle I was extremely interested in and was in my price range.

Surprise Surprise, a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9

The car was located in Quartzsite, Arizona. About a 3:30/245mile drive from Los Angeles down Highway I-10 E, me and a buddy from my work took a nice long drive this weekend to go take a look at it.

The car was listed for V$17,995, 109,278 miles on the motor and body, 5 speed manual, mint leather interior no tears. Talked to the guy for an hour about the car. Made a deal at V$15,550 and he gave me the keys and I snapped some extra pictures.

I ripped the car around Quartzsite for a tad while my friend snapped this shot of me ripping it around a corner. (Pretend i'm in the seat ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

After the long day we went down to Super 8 Quartzsite AZ Hotel and slept there for the night and headed home the next morning.

I have big plans for the car!

Finances

Bills for the Month-V$550
Hotel/Gas/Food-V$350
BMW E30+V$3,850
Paycheck(3 Weeks)+V$1,125
Evo 9-V$15,550

Total Funds: V$5,525

So me and Nick finally finished the goal for today. I arrived at his place at around 1:30 pm and as soon as he opened the garage I felt at home again. The RX-7, the Porsche. Really triggered my inner car enthusiasm and got me to work asap. The garage was spotless, amazing!

We finished the Tint job around an Hour or Two after I arrived, and I gotta say we did a really good job!

As Nick was finishing up the Front windshield I took some time to get the exhaust tip off because I ordered a new one, coming soon as well! Big Plans!
