Hello guys.
First of all I want to apologize for my english.I will make a few mistakes(or many xD ).

My name is Darius,I live in Hunedoara,a small city of Romania.I am 21 years old,I finished school 2 years ago,and since then I'm workin' my ass for a living.
Last year I managed to get my driver license, and 3 days ago I bought my first car.

BMW E34 1.8l 1995
M packet
18" Style 32 alloy rims
Full leather interior

Engine

BMW E39 M57D25 2000
120 kW
350 Nm

As you can see,the car is in a pretty good condition.
It didn't had a crash, but the previous owner just wanted a more powerful engine, and a diesel also, witch resulted this swap.

At the moment I just registered the car on my father's name('cause is more cheaper for the ones that passed 35 years old),and paid the insurance policy(for 1 year).

Next,I need to change all the filters and oils.

My finances:
Started - V$ 20.000
Car Price - V$ 3800
Registering the car - V$ 104
Insurance policy - V$ 300
----------
Remained - V$ 15.796

Hi.
Let me show you the progress of the car so far:

As I said Saturday,I tested a set of Homuras 2x7 (front 18" 8.5 225/40/R18 ADVAN Neova tyres -- back 18" 8.5 215/40/R18 ADVAN Neova tyres),and in the end I bought them.
Today,I had a full day starting with:

  • Reciving CF hood and trunk ordered Friday.

  • After i mounted them.

  • After I started to remove the interior.

  • Welded and painted roll-cage.

  • Traded the wooden trims for simply black ones.

  • As I said, the progress of today so far seen in one picture.

  • My finances:
    Paycheck - V$ 375
    Rims with tyres(second hand) - V$ 980
    CF hood and trunk - V$ 1.200
    Welded-in roll-cage - V$ 3.000
    ----------
    Remained - V$ 10.471

Obviously the car is no longer a daily. :))

The car remained pretty much the same. The engined however has now got:
    - injectors from 3.0
    - turbine from 3.0
    - custom intake manifold
    - custom exhaust manifold
    - fully remapped
    - removed catalytic converters

The car produces now something around 240-260BHP.
And it also produce alot of smoke when you hit the pedal. :))

Ok,first i need to say that i'm really sorry but i traded the E34 for the cleanest E39 i could've find in my entire country(it belonged to a friend of mine).
    Second,i've gathered some money since my last post (9 weeks x 415 V$ = 3.735 V$ - food and stuff = 3.000 V$).

So the car: BMW 5 Series E39 1998,2.5l diesel with manual gearbox, pretty much OEM,minus the steering wheel whitch is the one from the M model.

As you can see it has the same engine as it was on the E34,so obviously i'm going to make the same upgrades as i did on the E34's engine.
But more about that at the right moment.

    Last 9 weeks paycheks - V$3.000
    Car registration - V$ 150
    Remained - V$ 8.401

That beemer is freaking sick, 10 times sicker then the E34. Love the stance of it....As the power goes 300-350hp should be good for those diesel farts since they have a shit tone of torque at that power. Don't be shy drop by to AoW I could get you a cheap set of M rims for that luxury cruiser :D

So,I just traded the E39... (new pc,to lazy to remake the car)
Tons of potential for that car,but I think this is better:

    BMW 3 Series E30 1989 freshly restored,no engine,ready for swap.
Still thinking at the E34's(my first car) 2.5 diesel engine,3.0 internals, injectors and turbo.

So yea, maybe i'll go with the same recipe for this E30.

Monday i'll register the car.Stay tuned. xD

Do you mean E85 wheels,or what?

So,today i fitted the number plates on the car:

A friend of mine gave me an OEM lip:

And i bought these babies (Work CR Kai 17x9 all around + TOYO R888 235/45/R17 semi-slick):

    Fitment test:

    Also i bought the 2.5 diesel engine(M57D25) + gearbox + 3.15 LSD
    They should arrive on Friday.
After i have the engine i will need to buy:
    -3.0 internals
    -3.0 injectors
    -3.0 fuel pump
    -3.0 turbo
    So yea,big plans.

TBH i wouldn't have gone diesel for a E30. Maybe a V8 sounds daft but you can put a 4.4l V8 from the X5 straight in. But a 2.5 Lump is good enough!

    Yea I know,it's not for everyone,but I love the diesel engine latley(I god a friend with an E39,same 2.5 engine,only with a powerbox,but the torque it's nuts;also got a friend with an MK4 TDI 1.9 with a hybrid turbo -the core it's from a A6 2.5 diesel engine- and also the torque it's nasty).
