Hi, my name is Ryan. Valo city born and raised. I recently started working as an aircarft mechanic at a small private airport near Valo city. Just got my licence and saved up a bit of money, but I don't have a car jet. Could somebody point me to where I could buy a used car?
Note: I had accidentally put this thread in roleplay area instead of personal roleplay which was a nice way to embarrass myself... I'm sorry I'm a noob as you might guess. |

So after scrolling trough local newspaper ads I found a mint Alfa Romeo 155. It was owned by an old lady's husband who passed away 10 years ago. Since then the car was sitting in a garage. The bad thing was that all the fluids went bad, tires were cracked and developed flatspots, battery was dead and starter was dead. Basically the car was not running and I had to tow it home. The good thing about the car was that the bodywork was straight and rustfree, engine is in good condition and interior is perfect. The ad listed the car at 6000V$ but I brought it down to 5500V$
---CAR SPECS--- Name: Alfa Romeo 155 Year:1994 Engine: 8v 1.8L (126HP) Expenses: Towing (100V$) Car (5500V$) Total (5600V$) Pictures: This isn't my style of car but I was desparate to get some wheels so yeah... Now, I have some preety good plans for the car but first I must sort out all the fluids, tires, and register it |

I bought some foglights, they look preety awesome on the car. I haven't decided if they should go in the grill or on the bottom of the bumper yet.
The biggest problem on the car was monster truck fitment, I eliminated it with a set of racing coilovers and a set of Rotiform Six wheels paired with semislick street tires... That was quiet a big dent to the budget... The car looks 10x times meaner with these wheels tho I also did some smaller maintainace like changing all the cracked rubber hoses and belts and changing all the fluids... Expenses: Coils and wheels 1000V$ Service 150V$ 2x Foglights 100V$ |

That's a pretty nice Alfa! The wheels really change the look of it. Looking forward to further modifications.

It's been yet another long evening. I'm still waiting for plates... For now I'm only driving in close proximity to my house, don't want to get pulled over. In the meantime I menaged to buy 6M of stainless steel pipe, painted and welded it together with the help of a local mechanic. +Removed the rear seats, utility isn't main concern here.
Also, bought about 30+ cans of primer, base and clear. Figured it might be long before the plates arrive so might aswell paint it. Turned out preety damn good for a rattle can job IMO Expenses: Paint 200V$ Pipe 50V$ |

Well Alfa was fun and all, but I was unable to carry out my plans with it so I have decided to sell it on craigslist. (price fixed)
Meanwhile I was able to get my hands on this maaad 1995 Honda Civic: *LINK* This will be my next project car, I will do some awesome modifications... The idea behind this car will be street legal racecar. It looks like POS right now Removed the ugly aftermarket sideskirts and replaced the front left quaterpanel with a matte black one. Expenses: 1995 Honda Civic -1300V$ FL quaterpanel -50V$ Traveling expenses -50V$ |

Ok, so today the Civic is getting painted, I pulled apart the seats, all lights and whole front end because I want to paint the engine bay too.
That means engine is getting pulled out aswell... The car is now prepped for painting |

The car is painted, it's just the matter of fitting all the parts now
You might be wondering why the hood isn't fitted, that's because I ordered an aftermarked vented hood, OEM sideskirts and a Mugen lip that stuff will arrive in a few days so no hood for now. And a little mod on the bumper, I cut out the middle bit for less drag which should translate into faster laptimes and it's even more epic because free. That's all for today, there is still a lot more left to do for example find the engine, wheels, suspension, brakes etc... But this is a good starting point I think Expenses: Mugen EJ2 lip -50V$ OEM sideskrts 2X -50V$ Bomex hood -150V$ White spraycans -100V$ |

Sideskirts lip and hood arrived, first step would be fitting them and then painting to match the car
In the end I decided to paint the hood black for a nice look In the other news I found a K20a2 and a matching transmission that are gonna get swapped into this car, delivery of components will take a week tho... Engine:*LINK* Trans:*LINK* This was a small update, there is still a lot of things to do as I stated in a previous post, I'll try to get the majority of the parts together for the next update... Expenses: Paint -50V$ Engine -1000V$ Transmission -1150V$ |
