Thanks for the invite mate, I finished installing the SR20DET,FamouseMan went for a test drive. When he gets back I will get back home to Takasaki (24 min drive away from you) to drop off my bosses Stagea and will drive to you :D Excited to see that 180 :D....Btw I think you can fix that easy whit gluing some fiberglass on it, it might itch a little but it can be repaired fast :D

A hand full of parts

These last 2 days i've been really busy doing some changes on the 180SX... First of all i've fixed my bumper after that crash at Nikko, i could ziptie it (like Mikingo suggested) but would look bad, plus the bumper was all floppy because i hit a pothole on my way to Osaka after the event.
Anyway with the help of Marcus and Lexotic we fixed the bumper and made it look like it was from the shelf (well, almost, but it looks legit and works so i'm happy)

Yesterday i went to a local meet, and some random dude came to me saying that he wanted to buy my BN Inverted hatch + Do-Luck Type 3 spoiler. At first i wasn't really convinced until he offered me 2750 V$ for all. Couldn't refuse such a good offer! I got about 600 V$ profit from when i bought both of them (BN hatch was 950V$, Do-Luck wing 1200 V$).

Today day i found a deal on yahoo auctions for some new wheels and convinced the guy to trade my Veilside Andrew F wheels for a set of Work VS-KF in 18x10 wrapped in new Toyo Proxes Tyres. I think the new wheels fit better the style of the car, plus they are one of my all time favourite wheels.

I never sold my hatch that i used to have before the BN Sports one, i'm so happy with it right now, because i didn't feel like going around junkyards and such to grab a new one and having to paint it and all that stuff.
Went to UP GARAGE (which is my main go-to place lately) and picked up this 326 power version select spoiler for 350 V$. Its nice to have so many shops in Osaka. Im debating to move here, since i'm in Saitama and it's far af. I've been taking the train there instead of spending gas on the civic which has been stopped lately because i'm on a short vacation since Tuesday until next Monday.

Tomorrow hopefully i'll get the spoiler and the bumper painted. That is all for today, i've been on a crazy parts run all day!!

Finances: 2503 + 2750 (BN Hatch and Do-Luck wing sold) - 350 (326 power spoiler bought) = 4903 V$

Matching paint

After that crazy parts run a couple of days ago, i dropped my car at a local paintjob to get the spoiler and the front bumper painted, i didn't know the guy but a friend recomended me to go to his shop and that he's an excelent painter.
I'm really happy with the result, paint blends in with the rest of the car and it was fairly cheap. 350 V$ to get both parts painted and now i'm back to the Cooldown HQ.

Decided also to go for a night cruise, no street racing or anything, just a chill drive around Osaka, Parked close to an abandoned parking lot and took a pic of the new spoiler setup, with some stickers that i got from 326 power a while back when i bought my coilovers

Finances: 4903 - 350 (painted parts) = 4553 V$

@Jdm_Racer, i worked in the design and a friend printed it for me
@Mikingo yeah! The 326 power wing looks so much better now, even before it looked rad.

On my free time i also like to hit some ramps and abanadoned warehouses with my BMX. A friend of minne came with me and took this sick pic with his phone. And i was doing a No foot, but i'm a bit rusty into this and nearly hit my car jumping down, that would have sucked so badly because i wanted to do this trick to get an awesome shot, but all went well.
Also yesterday my paycheck came in (750V$)

Finances: 4553 + 750 (paycheck) = 5303 V$

Butterfly doors

So i decided to go full spice (or rice for some) and bought a set of new door hinges to make my doors open in a butterfly style, or lamborghini style as some call them.
Got this kit off ebay for 300 V$, used to cost 889V$ -> *LINK*

They're fairly easy to install, just bolt-on, bolt-off type of stuff. Then i spent a good 30 min playing with the doors opening and closing them like a little kid. I always loved this style and i felt like it was something my car was missing although they aren't the best quality i hope they'll hold!
Also printed a new crew sticker and put it in my passenger side door

Finances: 5303 V$ - 300 (lambo door kit) = 5003 V$

Thanks man it's nice to hear ^^

Bought a new car!

Soooo, i got sick of the civic, it wasn't really a car of my taste hence why i didn't do any mods to it, all i did was an oil and filters change... And i've been saving some money for something nicer and i finally found something that fits my taste more than the little D16 Civic.

Meet my new ride, a 2004 Nissan Fairlady Z33. I traded the civic + 3000V$ in cash for it. Fairlady was priced at 3.950 so i still got a bit of cash from the Civic. Anyway, it's not in 100% shape, it was rear ended in a parking lot according to the dealer. Bumper is dented in and rear left fender is scratched and in a bit of rough shape, but easily fixed. Paint has seen better days too, front bumper has chipped paint and missing center piece, rear bumper is missing a indicator and so on...
Oh and it's also missing the Nissan badge, but it was in it when i bought it. Some asshole decided to steal it while i parked near McDonalds to go get lunch...
Interior wise is pretty mint, seats are in excelent shape and looks well taken care of. Now engine, it's a stock VQ35DE, nothing aftermarket in it, with service always done at a Nissan dealership. It has 101xxx km on the clock.

My plans for it are a daily/stance build, nothing too exagerated like the 180, maybe coils, wheels and a few more goodies...

Finances: 5003 - 3000 (Fairlady Z33 + Civic included in trade) = 2003 V$

@David_2709 hahaha not really a fan of em, but who knows one day i'll do a similiar setup of the 180
Thanks guys i'm loving the doors and the new Z was an excelent deal, it's so smooth to drive!
@marcus915 don't say that twice hahaha :^)

But anyways, i've already started fixing shit on the Z. Caught this sweet deal of a Nismo v1 (legit Nismo) rear bumper with valances for 455V$! The guy who i bought it from is going to apply a full Nismo V3 kit to his Fairlady. Sadly he had already sold the other parts like front bumper/lip and skirts.

Tbh i'm kinda digging the orange oem color and mine's gonna need painting soon so who knows...
Took my z33 to work and took this pic while on break, i can't wait to see how this baby is gonna look lowered and with spice wheels. Plus it has a nice kick of power to it for a N/A car, i'm enjoying the VQ life.

Finances: 2003 - 455 (nismo bumper) = 1548 V$

Open Diff Slides Ft. Angry Eyes

Bought these new eyelids for my Z at UP GARAGE for 45 V$. It's so cute with the angry eyed style! Oh also went to Nissan Dealership in Osaka and bought a new Nissan symbol, i was sick of seeing that hole in my bumper. Costed me 30 V$, because of that little shit who stole mine, i swear if i see my badge again i'll steal it back, just because.

Oh and i've also decided to put my Z to test in a *closed circuit, professional driver don't try this at home* kinda thing, in some not so crowded roads. Feels way less powerful than my 180sx, and i've pretty much clutch kicked the shit out of this to try to hold a slide.

Plus not having a LSD doesn't help, unlike the 180 that makes things easier. But part of me was happy to slide a N/A car again, reminded me of when my 180 had the SR20DE, it's kinda fun! Plus my mate caught this dank shot with his cellphone. Now i need to save up for some coilovers and other goodies.

Finances: 1548 - 45 (eyelids) - 30 (nissan badge) = 1473 V$

Thanks man ^^ :D

New coilovers!

So, i've decided it's time to lower the Fairlady Z! I wanted to go with the 326 power coilovers like i have in the 180, but they're waaaaay to expensive for me right now, so i decided to go with a cheaper but still solid option.

I purchased a set of Tokico D-Spec coilovers from Super Autobacs in Osaka for a total of 500 V$ with discount included. They are fully adjustable from 5" inch to 8" inch, but right now they sit at 7" inch for a more comfortable ride height.

I also took the 180 for a weekend drive, and now it's back in the garage, been busy with work so the Z is my main daily car, the 180 is too low and rad to daily on.

And a random phone pic before i went to work just to show the ride height as it sits right now, too bad i have that orange bumper just sitting there ruining the combo color, but NISMO is life so yeah... I wanna get it painted but i'm still looking for some more parts before i do that so i can paint it all at once. Also paycheck just dropped in (extra 750 V$)

Finances: 1473 - 500 (tokico d-spec coils) + 750 (paycheck) = 1723 V$

Yeah it's a lot better than stock height!
I plan to get a the Nismo Front Lip and the sideskirts. As for wheels i'm thinking either Blitz Type 03 or Work Equip 05
