OK, so my actual username isn't UltimateStance, but I've been wanting to change it to that for a Longtime now.
Anyway, I managed to get the Student version of 3DS Max and Composite 2014. This, unlike the old cracks, is fully legal.NOPE, 3DS Max 2016 ONLY now, new pc and shit. No longer legal (idk). I've started to learn how to model, but to be frank, the tutorials are shit, and I can't ever get them positioned correctly.

So i'm starting on my own, learning as I go along, beginning with the extremely boxy and not yet made Range Rover MK1. I've got the blueprints, and now I'm going to see how to model it. It shouldn't be very difficult.

However, I still need to find out how to script it into SLRR, and i'd like to do it not the retarded way of using the original Einvagen, Duhen, Focer etc. classes and CFGs, Make its own independent scripts, with Javas of its own. Or, to put it in other words, I'd like to script it like BB's vehicles, which are the best I have ever modded to Sl, by the way :).

Can anybody teach me how to script them? I already have Notepad++ so i don't have to find sections, because ++ notices them.
It would be fantastic if BiggBoss93 Himself could teach me.

Thanks.

Pro tip about any computer program you want to learn to use: click all the buttons. Also, as far I know BB uses Duhen as base car - but don't leave dependencies with them.

Enter the Pajero Pinin 3 Door, which I will make a 5 Door out of after i have finished the front wings (fenders for Americans) and doors for the 3 Door.
This is a fender, which I will duplicate and reshape for the opposite side, which is Almost finished. This is gonna be some cool shit when it's done...
Look at all those fucking sgements!(with the help of MeshSmooth, of course)

Feel free to give any suggestions or thoughts!

hey thats sweet as!

just a heads up, you might wanna 'straighten' these polies? it will distort the mesh if you bend to flow with the fl wing shape? (im not surte if that made sense i have not slept v wel )

these bits in particular (you could probably get away with the indicator hole

but good start tho!

OK, i'm just rendering with MeshSmooth at the moment, so it's not done yet, but thanks.I'll deal with that as soon as. I want to make this a high-class mod, with a hopefully successful SS4-i Selectable Four Wheel Drive system which you can engage in SL.
Let's see, shall we?
I'm also gonna try and work with BB93 as he's entused by Pinins, and I'm sure He'd be happy to help.
P.S. That hole is for a seperate part for the indicator, so that'll be covered with some sort of seal anyways. No need to put too much effort into stuff you won't see :)

So on with my current project (as the Pinin was being really shitty with 3DS, may contine after this), which is a MKIII Ford Capri. I've cracked on and shaped the fender. I also found a new trick: if you tessalate the poly and use MeshSmooth, you end up with a super-high poly object :D

So here is a 'Super High Poly' Front Wing (aka fender/quaterpanel. I'm British. Deal with it.)

Any thoughts welcomeed.

Well, 2.5GHz and 6GB of RAM should do it.
This is a professionally made mod for where performance isn't an issue :troll:

Forza doesn't have a Capri.(i'm not making just an RS1300) It never did. It's fine, as long as I keep all the parts in limit.

Make your model like them, don't go full retard with meshsmooth etc etc.

Bonnet done. The bulge took about 2 hours and the bonnet took around 3.Moving the blueprints to where the should have been in the first place (judging by the side blueprint and fender position) took around an hour in itself. Only the grill, lights and bumper for other models to go. This mod won't be done any time soon, but I might release a beta/taster version of just the 1.3 and 1.6 when it's been partly done; and if that's released, it won't have engine and running gear parts yet. This is going to be to an extremely high standard. What do you guys think?

There's also a question I would like to ask. Do people want to have removable decals for the Cabaret, WerksTurbo etc. or have them integrated into the shell? I would like to have them separate, but what would you guys lie to have? Suggestions?

Added 6 minutes later:

Now for the headlight surrounds and lightglows... for a 3DS 'not really newbie but not very experienced with too many things'.

Post dem wireframez!!1!!!1!one!

Also - try not about thinking about releasing betas and stuff when you don't even have model finished.

And - yes, removable decals/badges is must.

I think decals should be removable, you can make a paintjob for each special model.

Removable it is. I'm also going to work with BB to get stock paint colours when bought from catalog, and I'm also going to try and make rusty paintjobs too.
Here you go, 'BB style':

Still in budget!

No, it's sunk on the real thing too. I checked. Don't expect it to be perfect yet as it's not been looked over yet, and I haven't considered every little nook and cranny yet.

Also, that site has no Capri paint codes at all, as it is only for American market vehicles. this car was only ever sold in UK and European Ford dealers. Thanks anyways.

I'm thinking of making a Volvo, especially and XC90, 940 or 480. Wow, all the cars I want to do, my dad has owned in the past XD. He used to own a 940 Wentworth Turbo Estate in Burgundy, with alloy wheels. The turbo never worked, but it went like a train, and cornered like it was on rails. Typical Sweed spec: Headlight wipers, seatbelt warning, airbags everywhere... even a sceen on the dash telling you if a bulb had blown and which it was! Volvo themselves ruined it in the end after a disastrous repair. It developed a massive oil leak, and he brought it into Volvo several times, but the problem kept coming back. In the end, they ruined the steering and gashed all the interior panels, making it really difficult to steer. In the end, it was sold, and as it it was a Wentworth, he was told it would be restored. In recent years, I have even found it in the forecourt where it was part-exed still in pieces! It's still registered (apparently).
Man, my stories go on forever

I'm adding to my Capri, after it being idle in my D drive for a few days. I'm going to try and make some of the grill and lights. And here's another community question: should I make the mounting holes for the bumpers, or just leave it flat? If I make a valance, i'd make a few custom ones anyway (splitter/foglight fitting etc.). What do you guys think? More wireframes coming too, people like to see those moar than just plain old renders.

So I now have a side project: KeeJay has agreed for me to export and script in his pack of Forza Rims he has just released. I'm going to release the pack when completed, and the pack will contain nearly all of the rims in his Workshop, so I know how much weight I've got on me from the community.
Pics coming soon guys!

*AND HERE'S WHEN I SUDDENLY REALIZE THAT THE FENDER HAS TOO MANY POLYS AND GET A SKETCHUP IMPORT THAT HAS 104,000 POLYS AND DOESN'T EVEN HAVE AN INTERIOR'
Cough, COUGH. OK, so I got fed up with just staring at an, I quote,
Remco:
thats way too high poly.
Fender, I managed to bring myself to give up and get myself a Sketchup model to immport. Only one tiny problem(s). It had no interior, no clear glass (sorted by *me*) and non-stock random wheels.
And also no badges (apart from Ford ones). And no rear window wiper. And no suspension. (Hey, it's a challenge, deal with it).
Renders!!!!! (no background yet)
(can you spot the emptiness behind the windscreen?)

What do you guys think? Worth a challenge?
