Well, FD Long Beach was certainly fun. Though, I'll leave it to my coworkers to write up on that. James Deane, I can see him becoming legend soon enough.
Anyways, there was no way in hell I was gonna bring the Miata out there, so, I brought my Skyline, as it has also been a hot minute since my thread's seen her. While driving home, I decided to head into the docks, and snap some quickies. And yes, I did receive a metric big-load of questions and comments about my pretty much stock ER34. It's strange, even when you have the bottom tier of a legendary car, it's still revered as such. |

Aw, thanks! I know, I really love that shot too! I was thinking of possibly maybe considering (there's a chance) the odds of me buying a performance exhaust for it.

*Goes into ur garage and notices ur exhaust* OwO whats this..? Still feel unclean from making those jokes. Anyway, let's get riiiiight into the news! As you may be able to tell from the first picture, the ER34 now sports a HKS Hi Power exhaust, from the header flange all the way to that fat tip. Now, I'd say the Skyline has the ass that ruins relationships. It sounds just amazing, and my butt dyno also states a clear increase in power. In any way, the car's rear has essentially been transformed. ... This is gonna turn into one of those "I need a new daily" memes, isn't it.. Finances: Had: 18,430 V$ 1 (One) Paycheck: 940 V$ 1 (One) HKS Hi Power exhaust: 1,090 V$ Total: 18, 230 V$ |

It's a good thing this car is a 90, otherwise, I may be dealing with Chris Hansen judging how often I look at that ass. However, it's heart is only 10 years old, and considering how much work I'm planning with it, that may get me caught by caught by ol' Lancin' Hansen. This time, it's one of the most desired aftermarket parts for a AP2 S2000. That is, a Hytech exhaust header. This part is made only to order, usually to race teams. However, my position gave me some sway. with this header, it's a guaranteed 20 horsepower increase, which isn't much on paper, but will speak volumes down the road with porting, polishing, etc. Finances: Had: 18,430 V$ 1 (One) Hytech Exhaust Header: 1300 V$ 1 (One) Paycheck: 940 V$ Total: 18,070 V$ This post was edited by GoverningNick (2017-04-19 03:11, ago) |

Well, it's been quite a while. And it's been really uneventful. The R34 and Miata haven't been modified, and I just got a new project that I'm rather excited to show you guys. Also, I can't wait to get back to work as a Speedhunter.
Now, for the project, I was thinking: I've owned several cars across all eras of both American and Japanese, but never a newer Euro car. So, as a sort of experiment to see if they merit the mass following they had, I bit the bullet on this one. A rolling chassis with a full body and partial interior for only three hundred buckaroos? Why not? The title's clean, and everything is in pretty good nick. The interior itself is still pretty damn good, as well. Finances: Had: 18,070 V$ 19 (Nineteen) Paychecks: 17,860 V$ 1 (One) 1986 BMW E25e: 300 V$ Total: 35,630 V$ |

It's been a minute.
Indeed it has. I won't write another essay on what's been going on, I'll just sum it up. The R34 and K-Miata? Sold. E30? Sold as well. House in LA? Still live here, just not the converted warehouse at the moment. Currently doing a massive remodel (bought the building next to it and knocked the walls down to make it one big mf), so I'm staying at a friends house for the meantime. So, what have I been driving in the absence of the 3 cars I had previously? Well, it's black and it's a sedan. Can you guess what it is yet? Here's an easier one. Another hint; it's not made in the States. Still no clue? Tired of hints? If you guessed a GS300, you're correct! This thing's nothing special, just a stock GS with about 230k miles and wheels off of a W140 Benz. That's literally all that's been done to it at this point. I would put something about how it's gonna stay as a daily but I have 8 pages of proof against that here so let's not touch on that. Will I resume doing Speedhunters? I dunno. Genuinely couldn't tell you at this moment. Economy: Had: 35,630 V$ 94 Paychecks: 88,360 V$ Selling the previous cars: 34,500 V$ Buying another building/remodel: 75,000 V$ Buying a 95 GS300: 4,000 V$ Total: 79,490 V$ |

Finally back from the shadows I see! Loving how the GS is looking in it's current state, knowing you it won't stay that way for long haha! Can't wait to see what you get done to it and it's also been a hot minute since we linked up, would like to get back in touch with the homies again!

The warehouse/garage remodel is done boys! Essentially, the next building over is now my new sort of mega-shop, and I'm reclaiming what used to be my downstairs garage for more living space. And jeez, this place is /big/. I'm sure you'll see more of it as time goes on, but a keen eye might have spotted something new on the GS300 just from the first shot. Factory spoiler! I saw it in a FB Group for just 80 bucks and couldn't resist. The wiring for the 3rd brake light was a bit of a pain in the ass, but cooler heads always eventually prevail. Anyways, now that I have my living situation sorted, I'm taking a week long vacation to Japan starting tomorrow, the 15th, and fly back to the US on the 23rd. If you want me to drop by, let me know! I might not be able to meet you up at 15th due to me attending the regional TA championship at Tsukuba(feel free to drop by my RP to see what is it! ), but I'll be free for the rest of the week. Well, I return from the land of the rising sun! Was an awesome trip, and you can expect a feature or two coming soon.
However, more importantly, what did I bring back with me? "I need a new daily." Not quite yet, but I'm almost working my way to there. I saw a pair of Junction Produce front and rear bumpers at a swap meet, and I just couldn't resist. 2k V$ later and I found myself in ownership of these. Look closely, however, and you'll notice the 4 new things on the GS as well. That's right! A set of Junction Produce Scaras in 19x8.5", for the nice price of 2,500V$. Don't ask me about their current tires, it's nothing spectacular but considering this car is still on daily duty I'm happy with it in both fitment and ride quality. Those who noticed the car's lower, good eye; a set of Tein Street Basis (600 V$) put this thing at an acceptable drop while still remaining politely high enough to actually drive on LA roads. Can someone say 'impulse purchase'? Speaking of impulse, guess what this picture entails! Why, another impulse! I saw this little champ on auction and I couldn't say no. 2003 Toyota Altezza RS200 in the ever so rare Sunflower Yellow, complete with the 3S-GE BEAMS and the six speed. This one's clearly seem some experience as a slide-type car, be it the wisefab angle, the hydro handbrake + dual caliper setup, the Bride seat, HKS Hipermax III coils, and the no-name (possibly custom fabbed) exhaust. It's nothing crazy, but just the right amount of spice to have fun with it. Due to how long this thing'll take to be USA (not counting Florida) legal, it'll likely never see a plate on its trunk lid, but considering how I only really see myself taking this to Willow and the like on a trailer, I don't mind. Now, whether it's staying the way it is or if it's being turned into some kinda D1SL car, I'm in love. Economy: Had: 79,410 V$ 1 Paycheck: 940 V$ Junction Produce bumpers: 2,000 V$ Junction Produce wheels: 2,500 V$ Tein Coils: 600 V$ Toyota Altezza: 7,000 V$ Shipping for parts/car: 2,500 V$ Total: 65,750 V$ |

And i approve your wheel choice for the GS300, they were a great find cause they're super rare. I managed to cop a set a long time ago, at the moment they're on my Chevelle also nice that you got a bodykit from the same brand!
