So, I purchased a vehicle, sight unseen, shortly after moving to Arizona... It's claimed as an Accord V6, but I know better. They guy clearly didn't know what he had on his hands... The car is on its way here by truck, with its glorious H22 I4, should be here in 2 or 3 days

It looks like a good deal, but you should ask for some more pictures from up close, then you could see if there's anything wrong, because you can't be 100% sure if you're buying from ebay. I hope you will get what you will give! :)

Yeah man, hopefully everything turns out to be good on the car. I wouldn't trust buying from someone who has 1 picture from 200 feet away haha. You got any plans for it once you get it?

Soooo..... Car arrived... Confused the hell out of me, because its a frankencar. I'll hopefully get some pictures, but, it IS a Prelude, with a pretty good shell, but what really confused me was when I opened the hood, I saw not one, but 2 cylinder banks... The car has been V6 converted, and the block stamping tells that it is a J30, however, its DOHC, which leads me to believe that it's got C30 heads maybe? I was actually kind of disappointed that it wasn't the H22, but I can do more with this 3.0 V6...

Pictures should be up tomorrow. Had to go purchase a decent camera, and it wasnt in stock till today. I CAN say i absolutely love the car as is. It pulls really hard, and the vtec kicks in only halfway to redline of 8000 rpm. Im guessing the car has about 240 horse.

I have plenty of pictures of her now. Absolutely mint interior, exterior could use a buff, and whomever did the V6 transplant did a fantastic job! (Don't mind the lack of radiator. The mod has a lack of fwd one, even though it has a fwd transmission...)

Well I fucked up my bumper marginally. I hit a speed bump going a wee bit too fast. I wanted new bumpers anyways...

I've ordered new bumpers, and skirts, cost only V$ 2k! Their in the mail now. No problem though, because I got a job at a nearby Subaru dealership. Mostly used cars. I'm the one that checks them out when they come in, so I test drive every single one that comes into the dealer. It's awesome. And, I make 11V$ an hour, ususally takes a single hour to test drive. When I'm not test driving, I work on customers Subi's. I'll definitly show you guys the cars I get to test drive. Well, the cool ones, WRX's and STI's and such. And i got new exhaust for my car. I've decided to call it the Preccord, because it's basically got an Accord motor. Here's how it looks now. Just, btw, it's completely straight-piped now... My bud took the shots of the beast. I plan on hopefully having it on the nearby dyno soon.

Looking good!

Also, do remember that you can take the driver out of the car for parked photos.

(Sorry about that, btw. I put the fwd transmissions in there and never did a radiator. Or turbo plumbing, but the turbo plumbing that was already in the mod completely sucked.)

Couple of things.
1. The Preccord makes a whopping 248 wheel horse, proved by the dyno, and thanks to VTECK
2. I'm attempting to buy a BNR33, my personal favorite of the chassis', without an engine, and advertised as a Spec V i believe.
3. I did the math, and since my job is "full-time" (40+ hours a week), and I'll regularly work 9 am to 5 pm, thats roughly V$440 a week, give or take V$30...

I lucked out earlier today. The local tire shop let me put a set of chrome lipped Meister 3p's (19") on a payment plan. Their V$182 a piece, and the stretched tires are V$150 a piece, for a grand total of V$1328, over 5 months, paying V$265.60 a month.

So, I actually sold the STi Wagon, for a profit. I got $13,500 for it, and used part of that to buy myself a new ride...

Oh yes. 2005 Legacy 2.5GT Sedan. Aftermarket exhaust, LOUD, relocated intercooler to front mount, aftermarket lights, custom grille and lip, and eyelids. She is FUN to drive, despite feeling like I'm in a monster truck. Needs more low! The wheels, well, I've never heard of them, but they look alright I guess...

I didn't know you had a STI wagon. The legacy looks mint, and it has nice wheels. It could be a little lower, but don't lower it too much. You have any plans for it? For me it looks almost perfect! :)
