Dammit Smokie! You're going to make me regret buying an LS swapped 240, aren't you? I want to come see it in person. Hell of a drive, though. Maybe we can meet halfway someday.

Haha, maybe some day it will happen. The car does not run because I'm still missing some components to the engine and I still have a lot of work to do to it.

So I'm back after a long month pause, I had to sell my house in California due to some new "Restrictions" being released so I didn't want to bother paying more for some bullshit I don't need. Instead I sold both of my babies (Tsx, 240) just to get a ticket to Japan. I ended up flying there 2 days after the house was sold and landed in Kansai International Airport and got a taxi to drop me off at Yoshino, It's been a week here and almost everything is accessible by foot and there really wasn't a need for a car, then I thought to myself of why I moved there, for cars. So I roamed around on the internet, and found the car I was really Interested in. Not too far from Yoshino kept in mind.

A Nissan Stagea. I met the guy up at his garage and he seemed to know a good amount of English so he proceeded to tell me about the car, and how he got it. It's only had one owner and he was asking ¥ 242,080 ($2,350) for it. Car roughly has 82,000km (51,000mi) on it, not a bad deal if you ask me. The car is in good shape and he even let me take it for a test drive, he popped the hood and we proceeded to speak some more.

The Stagea has a Turbo RB26 pushing around 287Hp as he told me he recently got a tuneup and fluids changed. The guy told me he didn't really need it anymore due to his wife just having a newborn so Instead of $2,350 I have him an extra $650 just for it and dropped him off at his house and told him I'd take real good care of the car.

And yes, I don't have any AA due to my game deciding it doesn't wanna fucking co-operate with the AA I have set. Gonna have to figure that bullshit out soon.....

@Jdm_Racer: I'm mainly trying to get low and maybe a set of rims, not planning too much. Don't wanna ream it with upgrades too quickly.

@Tofu: I'll take a look into that, still gotta get low. XD

So Tofu gave me an offer I could not refuse, I traded the Advan's in for a set of CZR7's. They look much better than the Advan's in my opinion, now the next thing to go for is some low and maybe a fender extension. The car is great so far!

(Finally got some fucking AA boys!)

I went on the interweb's and got me a nice Stagea/BNR34 front end kit, the first portion came in at $450 for both Fenders. Not a bad deal, I stayed up from 10pm to 6am taking the Stagea's front end apart, and in order to do that I had to take the intercooler off to deal with some electronics that lead to the bumper, was a pain in the ass but I managed, probably gonna order the rest of the front end for the Stagea later this week, not sure when. Also have to get it /low\, as you can see the fronts have no offset anymore. :l

Fenders: -V$450

Funds: V$13,880

So I've been busy with work and life the past weeks and I decided to post on the Stagea's new front end, finally the front bumper arrived and I got that installed as soon as possible and sent the car to a paint shop, the car returned 2 days later after priming and then the respray. I got the car resprayed in a lighter blue, mainly cause the car would need a repaint anyways during it's life. Still waiting for delivery of the Hood but I sent the company an email with the new colors specs so that'll be taken care of already and no more un-necessary resprays.

Here's a pic.

I've also been scoping the internet in the meantime and found a HCR32 rolling shell for sale locally, only 15 minutes from where I stay in Yoshino, so I went to the guy's place, American as well. Told me the car was in great condition (Clearly missing shit but yeah), body had no rust and most black parts around the car were newly installed, he told me he was asking $1,500 / ¥159,408. Gladly took that deal, car had stock wheels and aftermarket coilovers. The guy delivered the car to my garage the next day and I payed him $100 for dropping the car off as well cause I don't own a tow truck or a flatbed truck. Not sure what I'm gonna do with it for the time being but let it sit here and collect dust while I finish up the Stagea.

Rolling Shell: -$ 1,600
Respray: -$ 1,000

Funds: $11,280

So my hood arrived this morning, got it installed and got in the car to move it, when I turned the key the car wouldn't start. I looked with a confused face as to why and thought to myself. "It's probably a flat battery" So I went into the basement and got a new battery that I save in case one goes out, and proceed to place it into the Stagea. Go to turn the key, and the car is still not starting. Called a buddy I met in Osaka when I went to the car meet a few weeks back, he's American aswell. He did a compression test and the car seems to be losing compression. Wasn't sure what to do when he told me the estimated amount of cash for the repair. I'm really losing my shit at the moment, and in need of a car. Not sure what to get, considering this is my only source of transportation. Been considering some cars but i'm still not stuck on something. Didn't expect it to die off so quickly, I've had this car since I moved here and would hate to get rid of it, but i'm more focused on financial stuff cause I really don't want to do a head rebuild. Leave some recommendations if you guys want.

So I headed out to Osaka with my buddy who came out yesterday and drove down to a car dealer, had a couple of cars there, looked around nothing really peaked my interest. I kept a Civic in mind that David suggested, and I managed to find a all around good condition Civic EG Hatch, has around 67k miles on the chassis. I popped the hood and saw that there wasn't a D Series motor and the guy told me it had been swapped out for a N/A B16 (Cause I don't have the Vipka Iron D Series motor...) , also doesnt have many miles on it. He also said it was a highschool kid who owned it before me and couldn't afford to make it a project, I asked if we could take it for a ride, and indeed we did. The car drives like a blast! It's quick accelerating and the B16 has just enough kick to push you into your seat, I'm very interested in this car, offered to trade my Stagea for it and cash back and he said he'll give me a call later today, the asking price for the Civic EG Hatch was around V$1,800 and the price of the Stagea is around V$2,000 atm. Really need a new daily considering my project car doesn't run.

Nice find Smokie! Pesonally, I think all Hondas have potential to be pretty quick. Hell, I've ran against EGs with tuned D15s or whatver back when I had my Camaro, and considering that was the "economy motor", it kept pace with me.

^Thanks all^ Still getting all the paperwork done and as soon as I get the temp plates I'll be on my way home, got some plans but nothing big. First thing i'm gonna do is remove those front and rear plastic trim on the bumpers, not suiting my style, but i'll have the car settled in at home in a day or 2.
