Hello there! My name is Jason and I just moved down to San Diego, California and I've decided to pick up my first car, a 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza, I picked it up for V$4,500 at a junkyard, the guy said there was a few problems internally. he also stated that it wont be too big of a fix, so I'll have to look into it, it overheated on my way back to the garage, but thats all, the cars body is in mint condition avoiding the hanging chrome bumper.

I hope I have some time after work later to get into the car and see what I can find!

Looks like a great start man. I'm really liking the body color. So mint for being 51 years old!

A Corvair? Damned if I knew the last time I saw one of those things... Good luck with the build though!

Thanks both of you guys, i don't have much planned for this car, I just got home and I'm going to go run it for a little to see what the problem is with the overheating, I really just want to use it as my daily. If any of you want you can stop by and see the car for yourself!

So DriftPhantom and Boosted came over to look at the Corvair, sadly the Corvair is no more, I fixed the overheating issue and the bumper aswell. I Sold the car in order to be able to afford my new build! A 2009 Mercedes C63 AMG, this one specifically has a total of 115,192 Miles and it has been in a car accident, I've ordered a rear bumper and tail light for a total of $750, the car itself was a whopping V$ 18,895 due to the mileage and the whopping accident. But i'm very happy to finally own and experience a Mercedes! I also got a new set of wheels with tires coming from Japan (Marcus).

((Sorry for the shit screens, had to do it quick cause I got some irl matters to take care of. :p))

Holy shit dude. A freaking W204 6.3l AMG sweet. Well you were lucky to find this gem in a rough state. Clean it up, patch it and show us the resut.
BTW You got those bumper and tail light cheap. My old man owns a W203 C220 CDI and its freaking awesome can imagine how it is to own a AMG.
Good luck

I sure will, It's running nicely, the rear right wheel and hub are surely not feeling very good, the suspension in the impact area is probably messed up, so I'll have alot of cleaning up to do, maybe or maybe not. Either way I still got myself a gem! I'll forsure update you guys as soon as I start working on it and getting it fixed up. (I'm from bosnia also XD))

So I decided instead of sleeping tonight, I'm gonna do something different. I ended up getting the Mercedes back from the Paint Shop and it has been repainted to a nice Light Cherry Red color for a total of $1,200, and the Vossen's with tires were a nice $2,500, they are poking a little, but nothing a little slam can't do XD. I stayed up until 5 a.m. cleaning the car inside out, and then I put the wheels on. I woke up WAYYY LATER this morning and I got my plates in the mailbox. Gonna put those on in a little, and I'm gonna take a nice trip down to the Diner for a car meet.

Wow, nice work! You did everything pretty quickly, you must be really tired. In my opinion, dark red like before would look better, but your Mercedes needed a respray because it was probably scratched from the accident. Now it looks awesome with the new colour and rims. ;)

Yeah, I got the chassis checked out at My local Mercedes Dealership and they said it was fine, no major fractures or deformation, so I decided to go on with it, The car has been in the paint shop for a good 3 to 4 days now, and the wheels came yesterday. So I thought I'd put it all together earlier than later! And thanks man, means alot!

So its been a rough few weeks and I decided to pick up a new edition to the family.

I've been looking at this car for quite some time and I finally got the gut to buy it. Here's my new Acura TSX.

Not much on it as you can see, just some tiny 17" rims and coilovers, the car is stock from what I know, and I'm not planning on doing much to it.

Also the Mercedes was left at the Garage at my workplace. Just been taking up too much space.

Just got back from a long trip to my friend Boosted's house. My new wheels arrived a day before the trip was planned also, he had the tires and the lug nuts so I decided to drop by his place, and we sat up all night workin' on the TSX. I'll be headed back home in a few, got a couple of other things to do also.

Here is the TSX sitting on some new Work XSA 04c's, total price for wheels was a nice V$ 2,200.

Very expensive but very nice rims, they fit your TSX really well. I think they would look better if they were black with a chrome lip. ;)

Just picked up a new whip! A 1989 Nissan 240sx with a Imported Naturally Aspirated SR20, unusual for me to find a Naturally Aspirated SR20 in such a decent condition 240sx, the seller told me that the car has some problems running, so I might have to take a look into that. Unfortunate but it's still a steal for V$ 5,000.

So I've been in and out of school for the past week and during class I saw a Pignose bumper for the 240sx, and immediately texted the guy during class, mint condition, no scratches, he just said it was repainted red so I'm still not decided on the color of the 240sx as soon as I get it assembled, but it can wait. I also picked up a set of new 17x8 and 17x10 TSW Jaramas for a solid V$ 736.00 and with tires it was V$ 543.00 at a total cost of V$ 1,279.00. Totally worth it they look mint.

Looks like you have the same rims as i have on the Silvia! They look nice on your 240 too. And you should do a respray so the rest of the car will look mint as well. :)

I'm slowly building up the confidence to get the car primered and resprayed a different color, still missing my hood and lights, having a few problems finding those. :p but as soon as it's put together i'll be looking forward to getting that respray.

So i'm back with a quick update. The 240 has received a makeover.

A week after I posted last I had gotten a Turbo SR20 shipped from Japan and It arrived a week prior to that. Looking to get the N/A SR sold if anyone is interested. The custom rear fenders also came. I went to a friends and traded my TSW Jaramas for his Mint Green Work Equip 05's, they look good if you ask me XD. The car has also been primered for pain in a few weeks, still not sure what to paint the car.

A photo doing the engine swap. (With new wheels)
