Hi.

A few weeks ago i bought this Toyota Crown from my friend Mike. It has been used as a parts car kinda.
No springs in the rear, a blown 1jz bottom and almost empty enginebay.
We got some plans for the car. Going for a drift car, not sure if track use only or street-legal.

Here is a few pics of the car from when we started to were we are at atm.
I recently picked up the new engine (not a jz). Will try to make some engine mounts and start on the wiring this week.

Nice car man! Looks like a very clean chassis... What are the plans for it?

Thanks! A drift car with a 3uz v8 engine.

Update:
Had the day off from work so i got stuck in the garage today.
The engine is in the car now! After some hours of tweaking and fabricating, the mounts were done.
My buddie Mike helped me get the engine and trans in the car.

He had a set of coils he was planing to put on this car before i bought the car from him.
We installed the coils and i borrowd a set of wheels and seats from Mike for now. Might buy them from him later.
Might need to higher the car a bit... #rubblife
The wiring is being done by a local guy. Not sure when it will be done.

Hopefully the crown will run soon.

While waiting on new parts to arrive, should arrive later today.
I made some fabricating to get more steering angle.

Got the car running yesterday.
picked up a set of 2nd hand SSR SP3 18" today.
Done some test runs and it runs ok, needs some small adjustments.

Did some quick painting on the front bumber, just masked off the chrome and rattle can painted it with some dark blue.
Got plans for a proper paintjob later on.

Went for a quicke drift sesh with mike.
The crown gets sideways but the car is heavy so it could use abit more power
