# lobocxl : Sure, 22th of August I'm there, how much will it cost? Well depending on the car. If I need to sandblast the car then primar it again I will charge u V$750. If I only need to remove the top 2 coats then you will have a 100% discount on the V$750, 0V$ xD. You only will need to buy the Paint if you will only respray, if you go for a sandblast we will need primar also. # Jdm_Racer : Phonexius always helping the other guys.Well I like to help everybody out as much as I can. I am thinking to open a garage in the future and I need as much partcice as I can get xD. But put all that away, to respray a car for free and get a friend in return is a price I am willing to pay anytine. |

Thank you eheh, it'll be a pleasure to be at your garage to respray my car and also check your ride, I guess it'll be V$750, since I had a crash with the Miata and since that he's a bit dirty, anyway, I'll buy the paint also, time to choose new colors

Yea there is a long distance from Japan to US or Europe xD... BTW If u find a S13 Silvia cheap mind buying it and sending to Germany I would pay all the fees

So its finaly time to start preparing the car for the paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So all parts that I ordered from japan came except the dashboard, I decided to keep the car LHD, cause I will have a lot of modifications to do, and I am really busy for that.  I fitted some parts just to show ya them, got OEM Type X side skirts, lip spoiler from a S15 Silvia, S13 front end (yep its gonna be a SilEighty again), the rest of the parts are in the box. I am going to clean up all the body parts and I plan to primar the car and parts on friday.  I dissassembled the engine and afther I paint the car I will start working on it, I will keep the SR20DET, just gonna clean it and tweak it up a bit. I want it to make from 350-400HP which are enough for this light weight car.

So the prepartion work has ended!!!!
Tomorrow starting to paint the SilEighty. I Found a guy from Germany that is in the Silvia Repablic group and he is a S Chassis hardcore lover, and he will go whit me to pick the color afther I primar the car.  I love the way the car sits right now, I will see if I will drop a inch or two but for now I love it like this.  Headlights and taillights should arrive in a day or two not shure (they are shipped from japan), engine is still in the crate waiting for me to finish the paint So thats all for this upday, more tomorrow

Eavning guys.
Here is a late update : As you all know I went to pick and buy the color for my SilEighty and I took my pall Stephan whit me. He is a S Chassis fan and lover, what he doesn't know about the S Chassis nobody knows.He sugested me to buy 2 colors, 1 for the whole car and 1 for the engine bay and thats exactly what we did. We bought both colors for a R34 Skyline, Midnight Blue and Cream.  Midnight blue is for the car and cream is for the engine bay.Well those that know me really well know that I love Midnight purple and Midnight blue, but I totaly forgot for that color, well excitement can disable your concentration and mess your head up pretty well.  I managed to lay primar, base and the 1st coat of paint toda, expecting to add the last 2 layers of paint and to finish it off whit a coat of protecting laker on Sunday. As you all can see I turned my lights off so it means no more work for tonight, I am taking the R32 and gonna do some Touge and head of to bed afther that. A busy day is awaiting me tomorrow.

Well today was a good day.
I finished the painting, and jumped straight to assembly afther it drier.  First thing on my list was interior and windows, cause I don't want to brake any window or that the interior gets any damage. Also my Silvia Republic windshield banner arrived and I installed it right away.  I though to switch it back to RHD but I decided not to since I might have some issues since in europe is LDH (I get pulled over in my HCR32 every time I get on the road whit it)  I bought a 2nd hand interior and sent it to a apolstor here in germany to a refurbishing and they did a epic job, the whole interior looks like brand new!!!  I also took my time and installed the tail lights and the center panel.  I asked Jorge to get me something from Japan, and I hope it will come soon Today I managed to catch somekind of a flue, and I am not feeling really well so I will pause the assembly for a day or two till I get better. Here is the last photo that I made see ya guys soon.
