Hi everyone!

My name is Žiga, i'm from Slovenia and i'm only 18 years old! :P I might be a little too young for this, but i already have a drivers license, looks like i have a natural talent for driving, i also know a lot about cars, so it's no problem for me to do some work on them. I'm currently helping my buddy Andrej at his service shop. (nothing too serious yet, just for service and repairs) Here is my first project car: A 1995 Toyota Supra made for drifting. It's my pride and joy.
Here it is:

A 2JZ with around 600hp, it just flies!

And here is also Andrej's modest ride :D

Right now i have a 3rd generation Civic for my daily, a Mazda Xedos 6 with a turbo and a Porsche 944 with a flat 6 engine.

Here's how we rebuilt the Supra, if you're interested:

100 posts, yay!

You may have already noticed that Nick's imports garage closed its doors for good (RIP in peace), but he was still selling the '86 Civic which i got for 2500V$. We brought it from München today, the trip cost us some money, but it was worth it. Well, i'm going to have to deal with rust again. :P The good side is that it has coilovers and those brakes don't look cheap.

This thing will be my daily for now. If the rust is not so bad i will repaint the rusted parts and match the colour. Other than that it looks quite good.

We sent the rusted parts to the paint shop this morning, and damn, they did a good job. Looks like there was only surface rust (thank god), so they didn't need much time.

I drove it around a little and it runs great. Now i just need to get it registered and then let's get on the road! :woot:
We paid 200V$ to paint the parts.

Wassup guys?
Finally, the license plates have arrived. My Civic is now completely legit. I also bought 3SDM 0.01 rims with tires from David_2709 which arrived this morning. It cost me 1000V$ but they look awesome. I put them on to see how they look. Not sure if i would have them on the Civic, but this is my daily for now, so this was the only choice. I have 19's on the Supra, it doesn't need new rims.
Here's the Civic with the new wheels:

What do you think about the rims? They are nice, that's for sure, but how do they look on the Civic?
I don't know why, but i bought another 17" rims and Bride seats from the warehouse sale near rodasmendes's place. Probably because everything was 50% off. See you on monday, when that stuff arrives.

Yeah, it would fit with the black trim on the doors and bumpers, if i find some i'll try to fit them on. Thanks again for the rims :)

Added 4 minutes later:

It would look like your Corolla then :D

Yesterday a new week started, so i got my payment! Now it's a bit higher because i was helping in the garage a lot. I bought some TSW wheels from rodasmendes, and i think i got them for cheap.

Today was a beautiful day, so me and Andrej went for a little drive, also because i needed to get used to the Civic. Actually i haven't even driven it, only a few times around the garage. :P I haven't told you yet, but the Civic has a K20! Well, you could see it when Nick's imports was selling it. It's quite strong, i was quite fast, because the Civic is also very light. But still, Andrej was keeping up with his Golf.

Ouch!

Yeah, it's very low, i had a problem when we were driving in the hills today. I'll fix that in no time, the bumper is just a little bent, and i don't think i'll change the ride height. It might be a little too low, but right now it looks good and is still drivable.

Today was an even more beautiful day than yesterday, it was so bright like there were 2 suns in the sky. :D So, we went for a drive, again. Well, i don't know what to do to make the Civic better, so i can't do nothing but chill and enjoy the good weather. :)

I was browsing on the internet today, looking around used car ads, and i found this.

This is a quite rare car around here, it's quite cheap but it's missing some parts, the front left side is damaged, but i think this car has still got a lot of potential. The engine is good, it's a 2.0 V6 with a fair amount of power. Overall the body doesn't look so bad, the paint looks fine, maybe a little faded, but it looks good after a bit cleaning and polishing. And the best thing is that it's not so far from me! I will go check it out what i can get for so cheap. If there's not much damage it's going with me, you'll see it if i will get a good deal. :)

I bought the Mazda!

It was a bargain, just 300V$, but as you can see, there are some reasons for such a great price. The front left side is crashed, obviously, but doesn't look so bad. The engine was trying to start, but didn't start, so there is some hope, i think that it's just a dead battery. I wanted to take a look to see what's wrong, but i just couldn't open the hood. Probably it's stuck in the fender or something like that.

Wheels are looking good, 18 inch Superleggeras.

The owner still had the missing parts in his garage. That was a relief, because it would be hard to find spare parts, this car is rare here in Europe. Only the muffler was missing, but i would replace it anyway.

I hope i can straight the left fender though, i already mentioned the problem above. The front left wheel is not really straight, this is another consequence of the crash.

The seller was so kind that he borrowed me a trailer to take the car home. I'll see what i can do when i'll take some time for it. See you around guys :)

Today some work was done on both of the cars: the Civic got some foglights! :doge: A great addition for just 50V$. The Civic is going full JDM. :D

As i said yesterday, the hood didn't want to open, so i removed it with some help from Andrej. We also removed the fender, because it needs to be repaired. We checked the battery with a voltmeter and the voltage was really low, so i was right. It's dead. Fortunately, Andrej found another battery somewhere in the garage, we charged it and the engine started! If i haven't told you yet, it's a KF-ZE 2.0l V6 with 170 hp, i'm thinking about adding some more power, but i'll do that later.

The next thing in plan is the suspension, because the car will be drivable then. :)
(I actually can't open the hood of this car, how can i fix that?)

Nothing was going on for a couple of days in our garage, so i took my time and straightened the left fender. Well, it might not look like new, but i'll take care of the details later.

I also fixed the front bumper with a very interesting and easy technique: *LINK*

Thanks! As i said before, i will increase the engine power, not sure how much. I will think about the suspension setup, first i have to fix the front left control arm, i checked it today and it's broken, so i will probably replace the front suspension. When i fix that i will get a feeling how it drives and then i will see what i will do. :)

I think you're too far from me to lend a hand, sometimes we get some help from students who need some money, so that's not a problem. However, you could help me if you can find some headlights and indicators for the fenders. This car is rare here in Europe so i can't find parts anywhere. I hope it's not so rare in the US tho, if you could find the parts i need that would be great.

I called a friend of mine and asked if he could do some work. He had a lot of free time today, so he came to our garage right away. He was very happy to help, because we haven't seen each other for some time. We fitted on the bumpers and left mirror (forgot the front grill :P ) and then he cleaned and polished the Mazda. Meanwhile i cleaned up the engine, changed the oil and transmission fluid, so it will run smooth now. And the Mazda looks mint. :)

I hope VS garage can get me the suspension ASAP, cause i can't wait to drive this thing! And i also need headlights - both of them, cause the right one doesn't work.

Yesterday i went to the "German VS JDM" meeting in Villesse in Italy. It was only 20 km away, so i went there with the Civic! It would be cool if i would go with the Mazda, but the Civic still got a lot of attention, so it was alright.

There were over 100 participants, there was a lot of interesting stuff. RX-7s, Evos, Subarus, Silvias, there was even a R35!! That's why i love events like this in Italy. Any car you can think of, it has to be somewhere in Italy. The Germans were also nice: M3, Beetles, GTI Golfs, TTs, everything. Anyways, here's some of the most interesting cars in my opinion:

A 100% original S14 200SX is not so common. Most of them are highly tuned, but it looks good just like when it got out the factory.

There was more than one Evo, but this one really got my attention. I think this was the first time i saw an Evo 3. And look at that Supra... :-X

Here are the 2 most beautiful Hondas :D

This was one of the most tuned and most beautiful cars out there. (even though Silvias are in almost every RP) It still had the Japanese plate, where else could it come from?

This RX-7 was driving around all the time, somehow i managed to take a photo of it. :P

And here are some of ze Germans. :D

This here is a Golf Rallye, and it's very rare. It was also rare that a Slovenian guy was at the meeting! We had a little chat about all those cars and everything, and we found out that we live quite close to each other! I was asking myself how i didn't see this Golf before.

In short, i had a very very good time.
Happy easter guys :)

The S14 will arrive soon, don't worry. ;) Thank God the auction center covered the shipping costs and stuff, because taxes are very high here.

Some updates for the Mazda: Thanks to @skip i found all the parts i needed and ordered them from Ireland. I bought a set of headlights, foglights, indicators on the fenders, and front suspension arms. I had a look at the suspension and it was alright apart from the broken front left arm. I put the hydraulic jack under the car and fitted the new suspension arms. I had to take everything off, it took a lot of time, but now it's finally done and i can finally take the Mazda for a spin! :D

Soon i will get it registered, and expect some more upgrades for it. :)
Bought a S14 Silvia at the auctions: 7050V$
Sold Supra front bumper to Driftphantom: +100V$
Weekly paycheck: +470V$
Mentioned in Driftphantom's RP: +250V$
Parts for my Mazda: 200V$ + 150V$ shipping

Today is the day i was waiting for, because i got a message from the auction center: The S14 has finally arrived! :bananajump:
It took more than a week to arrive, because the Silvia had to do a long trip. We borrowed a trailer from some Andrej's friend and we went to Koper to the docks, we were super excited because the S14 was waiting for us there. When we got there, we needed some more time to find it. We just had to sign some papers and we were ready to go!

There was one more rare sight on the way home. :)

For now i'm not sure what i'm going to do, cause it is already beautiful. Probably i will raise it, i think it has adjustable suspension, so there won't be much work. :)

I don't think i'll sell the Civic now, i haven't done much to it. I'm thinking about selling the Silvia when i do some work with it, cause there will probably be more interest for it and it's worth more. :)
