What's up everyone?

My name is Ramalhinho07, some of you might know me, others not really but anyway here we go.

I'm a 19 year old car enthuisast from Riverside, California and i work as a Call Center assistant, which is the shittiest job on earth.

I own a 1991 Honda Civic EF, which is also my first car.

It has a SOHC D16 Series Engine, and it's pretty much a stock pos.
Well almost, except for the BRIDE Knockoffs the previous owner threw on it, till this day i'm afraid one of them might snap in two and get me killed, but fuck it i paid 1800$ for it, and no big signs of rust, has a bit of superficial rust here and there that i might fixer later on, anyway here are some pics of it:

I hate the 16" steelie life , so i wanna get hands on a set of wheels soon if all goes well.

I also got a long term project, i got this from a junkyard near my house.

So yeah this (more like was by looking at it) is a 1989 Nissan 240SX, you probably heard about them before, or even saw a couple crash into walls or trees.

This is one of them, got it for 950$ dollars. And you can see why i paid so little for it.
The front end clip is pretty much gone, the junkyard guy said the guy lost control in the rain and crashed into a pole, but yeah this car needs a LOT of work done to it.
I removed all the front end parts and left them there since i don't really want them and the guy was actually nice and offered me a pignose bumper he had laying around, i was really happy about that

As you can see the front left Control Arm is bent, the frame is also bent so i might cut it off and put a tube frame if i can't fix it among many other stuff. Previous owner took a few things off the car like the engine (he was running a SR20DET setup that by miracle didn't take much damage other than intercooler and piping)
My idea for the 240 is rebuilding it and making a clean car, i don't know what engine and aero i'm going for but i'll check prices and all and see what's best

But yeah more updates will be coming soon, more car parts hopefully and yeah stay tuned!

That's a nice couple of cars there! Also, very glad to see that you're restoring a crashed S13 shell, instead of starting from a fresh one. The cars that drifters run hard and then throw out really need as much love as they can get.

Thanks Harrison15, she does need some love! :)

Thanks as well Coprone!

And my main problem with the bay is that instead of snaping in half (it took a bit of damage on the front but i could fix that since it's small) forced into the chassis and it retracted about 5cm back so that makes it harder to fit a new bumper, makes me have tighter space as engine bay, and most of all it's not really safe to keep it this way.

New update!!

So yeah i was sitting down in my backyard thinking what to do next when i look at the 240SX's wheels.
They are some Knockoffs of WEDS MA86, but they actually are in pretty good shape except for the left front wheel that has a dent on the inside part, that you can't see because it's covered by the tyre. I might need to rebarrell it soon, gotta look for costs on that.

Anyways the were in the 240 with some 4x114 adaptars, and their actual lug pattern is 4x100, which are the exact fit for guess what? Yes a 1991 Honda Civic!
Their size is also 16" as the steelies that were in the there, that are now on the SX

Found a "bit" of rust on the disks of the civic, was to be expected but not that many, one more thing to add to the cart for future!
Those are the stock springs but painted in red by the previous owner, "because fucking racecar bro"

So yeah this is how the civic sits right now, i did a bit of a haggard thing to get it lower i cutted a bit of the spring to make it sit lower, it's unsafe but i'm about the lower life (it's still a damn monster truck tho)

For now that's all i got, i've been looking for some parts online and i might stop by the VStanced shop since i'm gonna need two tires because the wheels that used to be on the rear of the SX have little thread (no wonder why)

And thanks i'm really liking them as well :D

As the rust is like that, that means it has been sitting in a wet place... Also the disk's massive compared to stock.

Don't know if they're stock or not.
But they do seem too big for being stock so yeah at some point they were changed which makes it even more strange to see this kind of rust

And the 240SX mods start, i know this isn't a priority but they're on sale so i had to get them!
Ebay spec products are life! But yeah they're gonna take a while to be delivered seems like they're low on stock but in case they can send it sooner they will contact me.
For now it's all, been a bit busy with work but i'm looking to do some stuff on the Civic soon

Added 1 hour 15 minutes later:

And a pic of the Monster Truck in the new rims, need some coils asap

Thanks Kazern ^^ Yeah she sure will, i'm atm looking for new springs and such!

So with the weekend now i have more time for the 240, and one of the main issues with the car was the bent front end frame since the car was crashed, i thought about fixing it but since it went back about 5cm parts would never fit well, so me and a friend who has some welding skills went to a scrapyard and grabbed some steel bars and welded them together to make a front end tube frame, it came out so damn nice it's almost like a pro job!

One of the problems is now crossed. Future things are to replace the whole left side running gear (it was the part that got the most damage in the crash, as you can see they're not leveled). So i'm gonna need a new strut (might actually replace both since i don't trust in the right one either and i wanna avoid problems in the future, also new coils and springs and so on... But i'll keep you updated on that as soon as i get them :D

Kouki tails that i ordered from ebay should be here in a few days and i'm currently hunting for some parts for the civic.

Bought some new AP 58860 springs that allow me to go to 6-ish inch lower ride height and also replaced the rusty front brakes for a set of brembo brakes, i thought the rust on the ones i had before was only surface but it was a bit worse than i thought so yeah for safety reasons decided to replace them both.

So the AP 58860 springs costed me 225 V$, after a couple days looking in shops a set of 4 springs, ended up finding them in the Honda forums from a guy who had a crx and wanted to install them but he totaled his car so he had no use for them.

The brembo brakes are from my local Autozone and costed me 150 V$ both + 30 V$ for the brake pads making a total of 180V$.

The new coils also solved the problem of the positive front camber and now my civic looks better than ever did:

Still need to get some spacers but i'm loving my civic way more now!

Picked up a lip for the front bumper on vstanced shop for V$300

Also picked up some new tools, a set of foglights and two Bride seats with harness included from Doge's Dope Shop for a total of V$2070 (i'll take some pics of the parts soon). Where are the foglights and seats going? 240SX ofc, i'm looking around for some more parts, but i'm hyped for the project overall!

Thanks Johny_Bravo!

So the parts i ordered from vstanced shop arrived, i was at work so i had to go get them to the post office, but then it wasn't at that office, to sum it up it was a fucking mess...

But yeah, they had a RS13 stripped for parts, and i took the type-x side skirts, the front fenders and the hood for V$1500, pretty good deal since they are in decent shape, only a few scratches but i'm gonna paint them anyway.

The piggy nose i already had, because the man who sold me the 240 included it in the deal, pretty chill guy.

And for the last part i've also test fitted the Bride Seats i bought from Doge's Shop, they're pretty high quality and the brackets fit well on the 240, ive installed the driver seat already. For now i'm stripping the running gear parts since the front got a lot of damage in the crash and i'm gonna buy everything new because these ones aren't really reliable, so i'm going to look around for cheap deal on front control arms, a set of 4 coilovers and also new brakes for the front, for now it's all
