First Update!

First update on the 240sx for you guys!
Vstanced Garage was able to locate me a Pignose front bumper in Japan for only V$300 with 2 day shipping. Needless to say, I bought it in an instant.
I also spent a little money on shoes and tires. I was able to track down genuine SSR MK2s with unstretched Toyo Proxes. Set me back V$800 but it was well worth it.
After buying new wheels I decided to play with my ride height. 6.30 inches in the back and i believe 6.22 in the front. May go lower, may keep it at that height for a while. I like how it looks.

I also bought a new steering wheel in a "Deep corn purple" color, it might be an "NRG" the guy I got it from couldn't quite remember what brand it was. Only paid V$80 for it though and i'm real happy with it. You might also notice the new bucket seat! this was an early birthday present from a friend of mine, it's a "Gianni Versace" Status Racing seat. I don't even want to know how much the material cost but i'm hoping i'll be able to pay her to make me a matching one later on down the road.

Now onto the engine, this came with the car, It's a Red Top (painted purple) SR20DET and has 150k miles on it. Im pretty sure it's starting to crap out, which is fine because I plan on swapping it out anyway. Hoping to get my buddy to sell me his RB25 out of his track car.

And finally!...REGISTERED AND ROAD LEGAL BABY!!

Stripping and Priming Parts for Paint

I started to break down the 240 today so I can start to prime the parts for paint.

First the fenders, front bumper, hood, and headlights had to come off. Ran into some trouble with the fenders, they didn't want to come off as easily as I'm used but other than that, everything went smooth

I then pulled the motor out with the help of some buddies that were around. After the motor was out we then removed the doors and took both seats out.

I didn't catch any other pictures of the strip, but shortly after that we took out the rear seats. and pulled out all the carpeting and stripped the door panels. She now sits bare chasis and on a set of stock steelies waiting to be painted.

I got lucky with the flip mount intercooler, everything fits like it was made to be there, kinda keeps my headlights from going all the way down but I like the "Sleepy eyes" look haha.

Any idea what the rattle could be?

Painted and Kinda Gutted

So I finally got the 240 back from paint and put back together. I also bought a set of URAS skirts and a URAS rear bumper for a total of V$450.

I left the door panels stripped and i'll probably keep the passenger seat out until I purchase another bucket seat. But I did put the rear seats back in because it is my daily, and I do give people ride from time to time.

But other than that, nothing really new as far as looks go. I managed to find an engine (conveniently after I paint my car) that i've been looking for, for a while now. I spent a good chunk of money on it, but it was definitely worth it. I'm keeping the engine a secret for now, and you'll have to wait for my next update or two until I decide to reveal it.

Sneak peek of progress!

I have the new motor in and ready to go! I'll reveal what it is in my next post. I got it for a major major hook up. A buddy of mine finally sold it to me after months of waving cash around in his face. I couldn't be happier to be almost broke. I also managed to get the uras skirts and bumpers all painted up. How do you guys like it with the URAS kit?

Sooooo....I bought a new car the other day for V$7,500

It's a 1997 Toyota Aristo JZS161 with lexus badges. I do intend to locate the actual Toyota badges. The original 2JZGTE motor was swapped out for a fully built 1JZ. It's also been lowered for pleasurable looks. The suspension is bad though. The front is all messed up and needs to be replaced. So new front struts are going to be ordered. I'm probably going to put it on bags, because it's way more convenient for me to not be ultra mega low all the time.
The watanabes are a nice touch, so i'll probably keep them on for a while or at least until i find a set of wheels that catches my eyes.
I also plan on getting a new fancy exhaust.
Anyway here's some shots I have taken of it so far.

The 240 is still around. It's just getting some changes done to it so make sure you guys stick around to see them.

Anyone wanna help me do some car things?

Trying to change all four brakes and rotars, replace both front struts and install new shocks and springs. Want to roll my fenders but not in a hurry.

The Update You Guys Have Been Waiting For!!!!!

240sx Update is major!
We have a new (to me) fully built RB25DET motor which I purchased and pulled out of my friends track car
Fresh new wheels! I switched and powder coated the watanabes from the Aristo to this and i'm loving it so far.
Also I now have an exhaust!
I threw the pignose bumper and stock rear bumper back on just because i kinda liked the look better.
Dropped a touch lower both front and rear
brand new nissan pads and brembo rotars all around
Only issue right now is it doesn't always want to start xD

I've lost track of all the money i've been spending so far. I'll tell you guys that my spending sprees haven't been cheap though.
I also purchased a new Canon 5d DSLR so my pictures are going to look a lot nicer from now on.

Anyway here's a pic dump of the 240

So I got to do some drifting at a local track today! Had a buddy snap a few action shots for me and then I took a few parked.
Car handled phenomenal and I couldn't be happier. This is easily my favorite car i've ever owned and all the hard work and money i've put into it has really paid off.
I also met a crew there called "//NINE FIASCO//" they were really into my car and myself. Henry, the owner eventually came up to me and asked if I wanted to be apart of the crew. I was stoked and immediately said yes! He and everyone else on the crew were super welcoming and very friendly. Henry hooked me up with loads of stickers and a couple of wheel sets as a "Welcome to the team" gift. So expect to see lots of fancy new parts and even some prototype stuff in the future!

240 looks very clean! Nice gift they gave you, you definitely need some more wheels to drift. I think your 240 is a little too low for drifting, it looks like you're grinding the sideskirts on the floor.

Hahaha yeah maybe a touch. The bottoms of my skirts are a little beat up from scraping every once in a while. They're literally a cunt hair away from touching the ground.

Got some goodies guys!!!
Whole crew pitched in on a set of 326power Chakuriki GT+S coilovers, with an insane 36k/28k spring rate along with matching break setup for all 5 of us. So be on the look out for stuff from Marcus as well. I raised the ride height a little bit because I kept scraping my sideskirts on the ground. Pretty annoying when the paint job is only about a month in a half old, but i'm really happy with how they feel and look. I also got a new wheel. It's a Custom Nine Fiasco in Fluro Yellow with black splatter and slight flake. Looks mad in person and feels amazing. Also you might notice that I painted my lug bolts green. Had to match with the coils haha. I also added a few more stickers to my windshield, i'm liking the collection I have going.

Gotta love that face.
