Hot ride... :drool2:

His last update due new page....
# marcus915 : thanks guys!!

had some fun on the touge today ;)

And where to begin on the RPS13? Its been through so many changes in the past couple months.

Firstly, the car is mostly all one colour now. Sprayed the car one colour cause I was sick of multicolour so used up the rest of the leftover red, which I'm going to be changing soon anyway.

Repaired some old aero (D-Max Type III rear, Works9 side), and put on my D-Max hood. Currently rolling on a set of ABC Exclusive Glanzen (18x11 +0) cause I can't get enough of these wheels, and a set of CST Hiper Zeros my good buddy @ramalhinho07 let me use.

Previously, I was running a Greddy FMIC kit on my SR20 VVL. In the quest for throttle response, the boys at Cooldown helped me fabricate a much shorter flip mount kit and created new brackets to fix the intercooler to the radiator support. This cost us a total of around 20,000yen for all the material. The throttle response is ridiculous now though!

Lastly, a photo of the car at Meihan C course. Car feels so damn good..

Thanks dudes! Appreciating the love, I love how the S15 sits right now. Trying to see if I can get my hands on a set of 17 inch TE's for the front instead of 18's so I can get a little more clearance/run a meatier tire.

Today was 180SX day ! Installed my Origin Lab canards, modified to fit BN Sports skirts and Works9 front bumper.

I've had these clear tails for over a year and a half now (they were on my old 180SX for a week), and I decided to throw them on as clear tails are my love at the moment.

Car they were on before -

What a throwback - May 2016 and my first RPS13 chassis.

On the current machine -

So the FR-S is no longer on daily duty - which I need a new daily now (jeez how many times have I said that). The reason being :

A friend of mine recently had his Celsior rear ended, and was selling his complete drivetrain for 80,000yen, a full 1UZ-FE with a working Aisin A340E. I sold the transmission for 40,000yen so I ended up getting half back. I'm letting the boys at Cooldown help me with the swap - looking into a full turbo kit for this baby.

finally got a set of 17 inch TE's for the front! 17x9 ET20j, albeit in a white finish. kind of like the mismatch finish. Straight traded for my 18 inch wheels and now I can drift at full lock without insane rubbing!

Took my Verossa out to a track day at Okegawa Sportsland. Borrowed a set of spare wheels from my friend, paid the 2,500yen entry free, and headed on out. Good day of hard driving and the 1JZ held up well. Figure that I'll need angle mods though, main thing limiting me from chucking big entries today.

Did a couple donuts at the end of the day to finish off the 3rd set of tires I brought alone.

thanks! but, shes dead now :(

After the track day, when I went under the car to inspect a leak, I discovered a pretty significant kink in the left frame rail - enough to make me worry that the car wasn't structurally sound from a previous accident. I decided it really wasn't worth repairing as I didn't love the car that much - just was a project to get my fill in. Today I began to part out the car.

Parts for sale have been listed in the classifieds, but parting this car out means I have funds for the FR-S. Speaking of which..

We've been building this car in the driveway at the Cooldown house (a pad me and a couple guys are currently renting). The motor in the car is just a test block - I've decided to not go V8 with the car. Big changes are the Varis front and rear bumper and the TRD skirts. Such an aggressive look. Cost a pretty penny for the aero - 320,000yen for the pieces but it was worth it. Currently the VS-KF's are a test fit - they're my friend LexoticSilva's - may buy them off him however.

Finances

$68,355 - $3200 = 66,155

$66,155

verossa is gone now ! sad day but..

This was the plan for this car all along. The 1UZ is going into one of Ricardo's cars, not mine. The Xcessive Manufacturing FR-S to 1JZ/2JZ mounts came in the other day and everything bolts up quite well, with the exception of having to modify the transmission tunnel a bit and converting the rear oil sump to the front for clearance reasons. Intercooler piping needs to be made up as well, but the car is making good progress at the house and should be ready to fire up within the next week or so, held back a bit because christmas celebrations.

Happy new year everyone! In between getting drunk off my mind these few days, I've been doing some car stuff on the side since I have a good couple days off work.

All white Kouki tails - very polarizing but I love them, and it's something different! Cost me nearly 100,000yen to produce.

Trying to decide on a new colour for the new year, but I can't decide!

Put on a spare trunk to test fit some wings I had from previous 180's, but I think I'll stick to my Uras wing for now. Then took the car out on the street for some fun, what a pretty machine.

Also bought a new car from a close friend, stay posted for updates on that very soon!

Finances
$66,755 + $4000 (Verossa part out) = $70,755
$70,755 - $1000 (Kouki taillights) = $69,755
$69,755 - $6500 = new car

shot you a reply! + buying a new car is fun, but don't fall into the impulse trap hahahaha
Thanks everyone for the kind words on my RPS13 :) more to come.

So this is one of the two cars that I bought in the past few days. This is just a daily driver, an absolute steal and something I've kind of wanted to get into for a while now. 1998 Nissan Y33 Cima, 116,500km on chassis.

Its a really comfortable daily driver. But upon closer inspection..

This car is packing a 1UZ-FE. According to the previous owner, the VH41DE was not running when he got the car, prompting him to find the most cost effective, yet unique swap he could get. This was pulled out of a UCF10 Celsior, A340 automatic transmission and everything, and thrown in the car, with some mild custom work at a shop in Chiba. The motor is rather high mileage for a swap at 140xxx km, but 1UZ's are known to be bulletproof so I'm not too worried. The car cost me 350,000yen, which is a steal in my eyes considering how clean the chassis is.

The other car will be unveiled in next post!

Finances

$62,255 - $3500 = $58,755

The Cima looks great. What mods are you planning, or you want to keep it 100% daily?
