Thanks!

I recently imported a car for quite cheap! $5000V bought me this beautiful GX100 Cresta. This is almost completely stock and I've been itching to get back into a big body Toyota after I traded my JZX100. And seeing that I only have two cars in my garage, I figure this is something I kind of wanted for a while. Plus these aren't very common either.

It's a 1999 Toyota Cresta GX100, factory exterior with just an Auto Culture sticker on the windshield. It's supposed to come with a 1G-FE but uh.

It has a full 1JZ-GTE transplant from a JZX100 Chaser with an R154 five speed mated to a factory VLSD. I am pretty happy with how it is! Let's see how long this stays my daily..

new wheels? new bumper???

I ended up giving my CR Kais to Ryan as a welcome gift. So I scanned the classifieds until I stumbled upon these 17x10j ET+5 Volk CV Pros. Also scored a coupe 25GT bumper.

WELL this car stayed stock height a lot shorter than the ER34 lol.

326power Chakuriki, my go to choice.

Then new shoes from my own shop!

Stock JZA80 stockies, 17x8 wrapped in 205/35/R17 Falken Azenis. Running a 10mm spacer all around and could use a little more dialing in, but I'll wait till I get new CA's all around.

Thanks so much!

180SX unveil!

For the past two weeks my RPS has looked like a shitheap. So once I moved to Osaka, and started Garage Nine, Henry decided to test out the new paint equipment on my car.

17x10 SSR Agle Minervas, with a -19 offset all around. Rather aggressive specs. Only reason I didn't show this yesterday was because Henry was too busy fucking around with my wheels on his hatch.

I haven't posted anything in a while - but got pulled over in the 34, and now have to take the shaken. Raised it up and put the stock wheels back on. Also sold the high power 25DET for a solid $5000 and swapped in a stock 25DET Neo from an R33 GTST.

@Softee, yes a cop got me for street drifting hahaha.

I just got out of the hospital, was admitted in after a serious car accident with a friend of mine in his JZX.

We ended up getting into a pretty bad crash in Hiroshima, and I broke a few bones. Currently sore as hell but making a good recovery. Time to get back to my RPS, while I've been in the hospital I have been ordering parts oops. The RPS looks like a sad mess right now -

A rather bad day of driving at Bihoku left my car like this, a few off moments, and a few sloppy chase runs saw me hit my friends' cars many times, resulting in bent arms, bent core support, broken intercooler, and a snapped exhaust, not to mention the absolute destruction of my D-Max Type III aero. I put in a massive parts order, and they arrived a few days before, sitting at Garage Nine. I picked up my parts today and had Henry and Sam help me fit parts up.

Full Origin Labo Racing Line aero, bumpers, side skirts, fenders, and a fresh set of D-Max Type III overs. I really like the aggressive look of the Racing Line aero, complimented with the carbon pieces. Now stuck between a Type X wing or a Rocket Bunny ducktail. Going to get this into paint, get it all matched up soon by Henry.

I've been working on a RHD dash swap, as a near accident made me realize that LHD is just a little bit too inconvenient in Japan. Henry, Connor and I have been cracking away at this for a while and we're basically finished now, on top of painting the aero.

All the 240 interior stuff is going to be sold off on eBay unless anyone wants it. Full LHD 240SX interior with carpets in mint condition, $800. Let me know.

I haven't had power steering in the car before so we fitted a power steering rack from a JZA80. The rest of the swap was rather straightforward - not sure where Henry sourced the 180SX dash but I'm not going to question it.

Exterior wise, I've ditched the Origin Labo side skirts and went with a set of Spirit Rei Miyabi side skirts that I bought for this car previously but never used. Decided to go back to Koguchi Power fenders because well, Koguchi is life.

Going to get the whole car paint matched soon and will be great!

After shipping the interior over to the USA, I got to work on the 180. Track day at Bihoku this Thursday and my car looks like...shit. So I got cracking.

Picked up wheels and seats from UP Garage. Gramlight 57D, 17x9.5 +5 front and 17x10.5 +0 rear. These were cheap, and filled my KPower fenders quite well. Will probably source something with a little more chrome and dish with more time on hand. And Then Henry got to work with my car and Connor and I penned up a new livery for summer 2016. Before then I'd always been running the stock seats which is sketch af. Bride LowMax buckets with D1 Spec harnesses. May get a cage soon, idk. I like having an almost full interior.

Then, I gave the car to Henry to apply paint and livery, and, here it is.

Out of all the stages this car has been through, I think this one is the best.

Thanks so much guys!

I spent all of today getting the blacktop SR in the car. SR20 blacktop from an S15 Spec R, Greddy T28 with an HKS FMIC kit and a Koyorad radiator.

Going to get a proper tune on this motor, get back to basics drifting with 266 horsepower, and then look at more power ;)

@tyretear I'm running on 12psi of boost right now. Just right. May turn it up a bit more or just swap for a bigger turbo.

@Driftphantom I'd be down! Let me know if you decide to.

@Smokie Yoshino isn't very far from Osaka, just roughly an hour and a half drive. I'll come visit you sometime. Give me an address!

New wheels on the daily though.

RAYS Volk TE37V Mark II. 18x9.5j +5 front and 18x10.5j +0 in the rear. Some mild rubbing in the front but that's gucci.

But the fitment thoughhhh.

Also picked up a set of R34 GT-R style skirts.

i like to believe that Japan is a wonderful country and crime isn't a big issue, but this happens and I remember that scum exist in this world.

My pride and joy, my 180SX, was stolen on July 23 and found July 27 like this. Hence why I haven't been posting as I have been looking for a replacement car and hassling police to find my car. Words cannot begin to describe how this feels. My car was stolen and stripped of literally everything of value, minus the dash. Yesterday my motivation to rebuild hit a bottom and I seriously didn't know if I wanted to rebuild everything.

But I think I am determined to come back from this, twice as strong. Stay tuned.
