Thanks man! Glad to hear that, be sure it's a straight chassis though, sounds like it's been ragged on :P

here's just some random snaps of my 180. Just loving it so much.

I did take it out to Ebisu Minami today for a two hour jam session. Wasn't Matsuri week or anything, was rather quiet. Good time to brush up on my track driving and get a better feel for the car (not that I haven't driven it enough on the streets :))

Listening to an SR20 sitting at the powerband is just <3 Car feels as great as it's always been, and looks fantastic. Could not be more happy.

^what he said

But um. Feeling quite shitty today.

A woman in a parking lot pulled into a spot next to where my car was parked. Swung too wide and hit my car. Thankfully didn't do enough damage to bend the frame rails but broke quite a lot of shit. Photos were taken at the lot that my car was towed to.

Assessing damages right now, front bumper/hood/lights are all bent up, front right side of bay is a little bent, intercooler piping is a bit smashed but repairable, intercooler only has bent mounts, front right control arms are bent, coilover and brake is okay, the lip on the Blitz S2 is slightly bent. But I'm bummed.

yeah its shit what happened but I can't uncrash my car :( thanks for the support. I'm working on getting the bay straightened and ive gone down to Up Garage to pick up a new intercooler. As for the exterior I think I will install my Koguchi RPS13 fenders and hood again, probably going back to RPS front end.

Spent the past few days getting the car straightened out. Put on the KPower fenders and the stock RPS hood, also got the Blitz S2 polished up again. Waiting on Up Garage to come through with the Hot Road front bumper.

Woah man I just heard about the accident I am so sorry. Glad to see she is back straightened out though. Are you going to just color match the new front end or are we going to see a completely new livery? If you are repainting it completely let me know, I would love to fly out for a few days to watch a master at work!

It's all good. Swing by tomorrow, let's talk about the move to Osaka. Got some business ventures down there and Henry and Connor are too broke to move here lmao.

But um. Goodbye JZX and hello ER34 :^)

I was browsing the classifieds, seeing I recently got a nice raise to $900/week at work. I've always wanted to step into a Skyline and ER34's are a dime a dozen here and I've been looking at various ones over the past month, but haven't quite landed a solid one. Either non turbo, or auto, or just beat, or overpriced. But this one I figured was quite an interesting car.

It's a 1998 ER34 GT-T with an RB25DET. It is completely factory on the exterior, but this car actually has quite an interesting history. One look at the front end and this is not any stock ER34.

A flip mounted intercooler gives it all away.

The RB has been built with some high quality parts - Trust TD06 20g turbo, Trust manifold, Tomei Procams, Megasquirt ECU, Turbosmart boost controller, and an HKS intercooler mounted slightly behind the crash bar to hide.

This car was built for running the Wangan - the original owner ran an NSX but caught heat from the cops, and ended up building this to run the Wangan instead. He got caught, and the car was seized, and sold off at an auction to the second owner, who bought it and seldom drove it. He was looking fr a JZX for trade so I figured I might as well. He offered me this car and a grand on top for my JZX, straight trade. This will be fun!

Well I left this morning quite early and made the nearly 3 hour drive to Hoodsaka in the ER34. Haven't even picked up plates but boy she flies.

Henry and Connor have a frighteningly similar setup to the one I have back home in Nagoya. It's up for sale now and there are 2 prospective buyers for my property. Going to leave the keys to the ER34 for Henry, take the Sprinter shop van they bought for dirt cheap, and trailer the 180SX over.

Yeah I miss the Chaser :( tbf I'm going through cars too quickly and I haven't quite been able to really feel attached to any car besides my 180Sx. So I'm hoping the ER34 and 180SX will be permanent guests in my garage. I'm going to put the Z33 up for sale as it is actually a piece.

Also, I like your FRS!

Speaking of the 180SX, it looks like this -

Hot Road bumper with custom splitter and Vertex Ridge canards installed, old headlights installed and wired. This is lit.

Let me know what wheels you're looking for!

Currently busy in the process of setting up my shop in Osaka, but I've had time to overhaul the RPS13. Sold my Koguchi Power front fenders, Spirit Rei sideskirts, and Koguchi Power front bumper + splitter to a good friend of mine for $2000 in total. Up Garage hooked me up with a brand new D-Max Type III kit, bumpers, skirts, fenders. They're surprisingly roughly the same width as the Koguchi fenders. Car sits incredibly low with the kit, but style > everything

Thanks guys! And thanks haha you're the first to compliment my almost stock daily haha. Speaking of which.

The Z33 sold a while ago and I got a solid $7500 for it. Spent some of that money on a set of used HKS Hipermax III coilovers and a set of 18x9.5 +35 Work CR Kai Ultimates in gunmetal, wrapped in 235/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE002 rubber.

Also picked up a sweet new Kakimoto exhaust and straight piped the car.

Hahahahah yes the Skyline is for groceries :P and thanks. Means a lot. It's been through a lot.

The same friend who bought all my god damn aero traded me his brand new D-Max Type II overfenders for my Koguchi Power rears, which I was quite happy to give up as the rather wide rear hips don't quite work together with the streamlined fit of the Type III fronts.

Also a nice D-Max Type III trunk wing as well, and I got sick of running stock R33's up front so I grabbed the first set of complete 17" wheels from the shed and put them on. CST Hyper Zeros, 17x9.5j all around with +20 offset wrapped in Kumho Ecsta SP2 rubber. No clue how long I've had these wheels but they look quite nice.

You are right man those new overfenders really help with the overall flow of the kit I am loving the look. And those wheels are so sick! I need to hit the JP auction sites and get me something at least half as nice for the FR-S

So ever since I got the coilovers in, I've been dying to get the car lower but the rather high profile of the tires mounted on the CR Kai's made rubbing quite bad. So I pulled out the fender liner and remounted the wheels on skinnier 225/35/18 tires and dropped it lower, fitting a 2 inch spacer all around. Sits so pretty now!

Naaah rubber's not really a concern hahaha. I've dialed in a few more degrees of negative camber and I'm looking into ordering new extended front LCA's and rear RUCA's. Also going to drop it more up front.

Nothing much new - been working on the ER34, will show something later today. Guy who traded me the 34 for my JZX sent me this photo of my ex JZX today -

He ended up buying a full BN Blister kit but hasn't gotten around to doing the fenders yet. And a new set of Volk CV Pros. Didn't say what specs but I'm on the hunt for a set.

Anyway. Back to my own life. Been busy with getting Garage Nine set up but snuck in time to get work on my car.

180SX is sitting - no change.

I picked up a sweet ducktail and trunk from my friend who was parting out his ER34 - too lazy to unbolt the wing so I just bought the entire trunk. Will paint sometime soon maybe.
