Hi to all, have issues with "Introduce Your Self" topic, strange but can't make answer in it. So I will introduce my self in this topic. I'm guy from Latvia, 26 years old. Working with CG for a long time and specializing on automotive, interior and hard surface objects modeling and rendering. Also have skill with raster and vector graphics and draw automotive illustrations. Also I'm editor at madetoscrape.com.

Here are some of my last works:

And I decided to start making mid-poly model for SLRR, still sometimes play this game and really like that you can modify your car. So I started Maserati Granturismo, still don't know about poly count limit - will see. For now I have almost finished body and 1552 Tarmac Cast wheels.

Cheers, chosenlv.

Thank you guys! Started to think that I need to add more polygons someplace, checked some pictures on this forum and they look smoother. Actually will be nice to see wires of 'em. :)

Nice job on all those models, I wish I had your skill :)
How many polygons does the Maserati have right now?

It must be? :D it's kind of model for game so I think usually model in the end have 150k-200k polygons.

That's quite damn good!
The game models that have 150 to 200k polygons are usually made for games that can handle alot of polygons, altho I think that SLRR will be able to handle thos aswel. You have a great polyflow by the way! :D

I'm working on stationary, Phenom II X6 1100T 3.3GHz, 8GB 1333Hz and shitty Radeon 5670 HD 1GB. So PC is alright only it's not good for gaming. But thinking about to buy GeForce GTX 760.

I hope about 75K-100k polygons with interior in the end but will see. What I want just to get this skill to put car in SLRR :D and get screenshot with Granturismo in game. About polyflow it can be better I think to safe polygons, but have this habit because of high poly cars :D as you can see I use smoothing groups in a bit diff. way.

Add two columns(edges) on those doors, but it's pretty great.

u blind? it has a fuel cell on the rear end, so it's obviously front engined(which means FF, FR, F4)

It's drift pickup and it has LS engine in front (not stock :D) it's total custom and it's high poly model on which I'm still working on, you can see total poly count in picture:

I have a GTX 750 FTW, and I can personally say, its a beast of a card. I would think that one step up would be better, but you never know. I did some research on the 2 cards and I found that the 750 has higher clock speeds, so it can game a bit faster, but it can't handle as much because it has slightly less bandwidth (think thats the right word...). There are tradeoffs I guess. If you DO get the 760, tell me how it is!

GTX 760 has also a bit higher memory clock speed, render output processors and memory bus, so yes will by 760 and ok will let you know ;)
