You could use a number of suspension and shock settings, but in the end your best bet is to look at real world example's a first

in game I would use vstanced running gear with k-sport slide control, that always worked pretty well for me,
Next I would suggest getting mindeliszz revolutionary handling physics. Beyond that. Half the fun should be setting up your car just right for every track ;)

Added 2 minutes later:

Do you reckon my game would be a lot more stable if I run it just as 2.2.1mwm bb93 and convert mods from le to mwm?

it doesn't show up because it uses the superID's of 2.3.0. You have to grab Miran's tutorial and repair them to work on 2.2.1, and it will come back. Just did it with the RB26.

Hard springs and shocks in the rear, and lots of power.

I've got the SR20, and I can't fit the pistons in. I have put in the crankshaft, the connecting rods, and the pistons won't go in.

what do you mean all cars? as in already ingame or all cars generally? maybe he made it compatible with the stock slrr engine scripts like so any car they fit the ls3 and that will go in

I've find out how to do it (I think)

In the slot part of block's cfg file you need to paste this:
slot		0.000 -0.160 0.000	0.000 0.000 0.000	3	; japanese_engine_block_OUT
compatible	0x0007007E 1;
compatible	0x0007007F 1;
compatible	0x00070052 1;
compatible	0x00070041 1;
compatible	0x00060001 17;
compatible	0x0006000A 17;
compatible	0x0006003F 17;
compatible	0x0008008F 98;
compatible	0x0008009B 98;
compatible	0x0008000A 98;
compatible	0x000800D2 98;
compatible	0x0008004F 46;
compatible	0x000800DF 99;
compatible	0x000800F9 99;
compatible	0x00080041 98;

And in RPK you need to put
parts\engines\MC_Prime_SuperDuty\
parts\engines\Baiern_Emer\
parts\engines\Einvagen_Duhen_Ishima_Focer\
after cars\racers\ line on the beginning.

Also, you need to be sure, that your car is compatible with generic SLRR engines (i4, i6 and v8)

# KeeJay : How did BB93 made his LS3 and Bialbero compatible with all cars?
rpk's header(folders) and block cfg slots, that's all

Added 1 minute later:

basically it works this way, the engines attaches on all cars with stock i4, i6 and v8 slots, and since all the cars have at least one of these slots it becomes compatible with everything. ;D

Added 2 minutes later:

# mindeliszz : i think it requires reexporting 3d model
if parts have at least 1 texture you can set its id on the relative cfg, like below:

render 0x0000****
mesh 0x0000****
texture 0x0000****
click 0x0000****
