So, I sent the HRE's off to get painted deep orange, to match the car, and when I got back to the garage, I found some packages for me! The Top Secret kit and the turbo kit arrived! I got them installed, engine parts first so I didn't muss up the new bodywork, then the bodykit. I was relieved when I saw that the intakes for the turbos lined up with the openings in the hood. However, that meant I couldn't use the filters, so I'll leave them off for now. Right now, the car is sitting on some 19" steelies with spacers that are totally stuck inside the wheel. I found em in the back, and when I asked Fred if I could borrow them, he said I could have em. Yay...

After searching for a while, I found a rolling body. Its a Lexus SC300 (It's my Christmas present to myself :p) The rust is pretty bad but I see a lot of potential is this car. I'm going for a drifter/road legal build. I already have a N/A 2J sourced out which is not running at the moment. I have intentions to later turbo the engine. I will keep you all updated with the build.

Found off road wheels!

JUST in time for the rally event! Turns out, it's two stages: It begins with an off road stage, and proceeds to the tarmac one.
So, the event began finally! And here I go!
Stage 1.

Preparing for the Second stage. It was late night by that time, the first stage was really long.

Stage 2:

And one last image at the end of the day:

I also met dxg again! It was a blast seeing his Z go through the dust!

I bought this 1983 GMC Vandura for 350 bucks. Runs good but is a bit smokey:

-->2 months later<--
Finally I have the suspension in the Hornet...

...and the mirror on the Silvia painted

I'll be heading to Phoenix, AZ now. There is a HUMONGOUS junkyard called: Desert Valley auto parts. They are supposed to have anything for any classic USDM car. I hope to get all the missing parts for the Hornet there. I'm gonna take my van there, of course. Hope, the engine will last XD

Decided to share whats going on at the Brookshier Racing drift shop just finished up working on our 67 fastback we went with a stroked LS3 power plant N/A with ITB's because of fitment issues with the twin turbo set up we original designed for the build the car is still in the 900hp range wich is well over what we had planned. For the suspension we went with a 99-04 sn95 mustang IRS and front tubular k-member fitted with a full Wisefab angle kit and V-Stanced coils and shocks all the way around. The interior has a full D-spec cage, Sparco seat, and wheel, Hydro E-Brake, full HKS gauge cluster. New customer drift projects coming soon and my personal Daily driver SN95 Mustang GT.

If anyone is looking for some custom drift builds hit us up we are located in valo city. we do everything from custom cages to engine swaps and full suspension mods.

Well, I guess that since we have a shop competition car, might as well put it here...

This is our twin turbo V8 swapped GNX. Fred and I built it up from a stock GNX to something he intended to use in the modern Trans-Am series, but he never drove the car. Now she just sits in the lot.. Alone. I'm more or less in charge of taking care of it, starting it up every now and then, but other then that, she hasn't really moved but 3 feet every month. I'm thinking about asking him if I could take it to Trans-Am, but I'm kinda scared to. He put ALOT of money into the car. The engine alone is custom built, carbed and turboed, costed around 7 grand. The suspension, with the Miracle X-Bar in the rear, cost about 5k. the body work was nearly 6k. It's straightpiped, and halfway splits to teh quads in the rear. It's a clusterfuck around teh rear axle, routing 4 exhaust pipes xD She makes about 600 hp at the wheels, or 650 at the crank. We had to get an Autometer gauge for the dash because the stock tach needle broke off when we first started the engine. It somehow revs up to 10k, and the stock tach only goes to 8k. Sparco F-300R seat is actually really comfortable. He chose number 77 because it was Sam Posey's number on his Trans-Am Challenger. Since the shop is sponsered by HKS and BF-Goodrich, had to put their names onto the car. I rolled her into the shop to get decently lit pictures.

Custom built air filter from HKS for the carb and turbo setup..

Also, update on the FrankenLevin! I got a set of USED BBS RS rims. Although their miscolored... And I painted the bumper and headlight to match the car. I picked a really used Eribuni wing, and I'm also looking to sell the Ram and the '69 Fairlady, and looking to buy an 850 Series Volvo.

I'm back from Phoenix with a van full of stuff. I was not disappointed; They had at least 4 Hornets there and a lot of engines. I picked a Dodge 340 from a Dart for the Hornet since they didn't have a stock I6 for it. I snapped a pic when I fueled the van:

They also had a bunch of 1970 Barracudas and I bought a grille with a tiny red stripe in it.

On the way home I found a Golf Mk2 GTI in sad shape sitting on a field. I've returned with a trailer and spoke to the farmer. He said his son field-raced that thing and blew the engine. Was sitting since 2008 or so. He gave it away for free since he would have to pay for its disposal. I have big plans for it as soon as the Hornet is done: It will be converted to be RWD. (Since the Golf Mk2 was also available with a 4WD drivetrain called "synchro" it is possible to convert it to be RWD) Tried to crank the engine wih a wrench but it is seized solid, which means I need a new engine.

The Volvo arrived. Its a 1997 850R. One mismatched wheel, no engine (Plan on something crazy... Maybe swapping the Fairlady's engine into the FrankenLevin, and putting the 4AGE into the Volvo...) She's in really good condition, and to add to it all, it's sitting some Tokico D-Specs springs and shocks. The car is too high for me though. Also, on a sidenote, my fiance and my wedding is on December 30th!

Added 9 minutes later:

Also @Snowfox, How is the S13? HAven't heard anything about it in a while!

Added 4 minutes later:

HA! Just remembered, a while back when I bought what was left of the EG6 from Facepalm, it came with a B series engine! I still have it in the shop, and am in the process of fitting it to the Volvo!

Tis okay my brutha. I got a bit carried away, but managed to reel it back. I'm sure you can do the same!

Anyways, I took the Volvo to Bonneville, and the game said it got to 270 MPH. Yeah, fuck no, with 211 hp? Nuh uh. It got to 110 barely. I already ordered a turbo kit with the money I got from Facepalm buying the Ram and '69 Fairlady

Tossed an old Remus muffler originally intended for the GNX onto the car so it sounds a wee bit better...

And, Bonneville

We got a new car in the shop today Kyle a grass roots drifter out of nashville sold his S-13 and went to the dealership drove this brand new FR-S straight to my garage i guess him and his sponsors are ready to move him up to pro am with force. He wants a full pro car set up by next season he cant decide on a power plant yet i say LS3 he is leaning toward the 2J swap but we will see what he decides.

Kyle and some guys that help me around the shop took the stocker FR-S out back for some donuts. I cought these pics on my phone.

After a month of telephoning around I sold the Charger to a small drag-team, the Hornet went to a classic-lover who has too much time and the S13 went to a coworker of mine. The Cuda has no plates now and I won't sell it because I want to keep it in my family. The Van is my daily for now. I took out the engine of the Golf with the help of a friend of mine (in just 3 days) and I opeded it up. There was NO OIL in that thing whatsoever. The crankshaft and the connecting rods were molten into a single piece. I sourced a Miata engine and will pick it up tomorrow.

Update: The guy phoned me and said that someone took the engine for a better price. Damn it! But he still has a 4A-GE lying around collecting dust.

Well... Since the S13 is pretty much done I went ahead and bought another project car to blow my money on. Probably a bad move since
I'm broke from all that christmas shopping. My excuse is that it's my xmas present from myself! Pretty lame excuse but whatever...

Looks like it's noodles and bottled water for me the rest of the month....

Anyways, here it is!

It's an AE86! Well kinda it's missing a bunch of parts like both the front and rear bumpers and lights and... well the list goes
on forever but atleast it's runnning. Pretty good too. It's running around 320 bhp from that poor 4A-GE and that seems perfect.

Fully stripped interior, hydraulic handbrake and custom bride seats. Also a nice burgundy red rollcage. Might change the seats cuz they are
really worn out and I don't wanna end up sitting on the shell of the seats...

I bought it sitting on these meshes that in my opinion look like shit. The only reason they're still on is that they have good tires so I will
shred them til them say pop and then look for some better looking ones.

Here it is in action. It's a real smoke machine. It's almost perfectly set up now to the point where I can floor it without spinning out.
But there is always room for improvement!

Before I go, does anyone have AE86 parts for sale? Im thinking rear bumper, taillights, headlights and maybe a hood? I'll pick them up and
hopefully you can bring the price down?

Anyways, thanks for reading!

I have blue skirts and a CF hood off an old car a customer totaled the hood has a little crack in the clear but not bad enough to harm anything. The skirts are in great shape though couple rock dings but we have had them sitting around the shop for a few months now and dont really need em id let all of it go for $200.

I picked up the 4A-GE today. Looks quite good and the guy who sold it to me said it ran when he got it. Now I'll make some measurements to determine where to put the new engine mounts in the Golf. I also took a look at the suspension and it is shot to hell. With the money I got from selling my three cars, I ordered a GReddy suspension and new brakes. I'll also need a rear axle (will put a stock synchro axle in it) and I need to modify a driveshaft so I can combine the Toyota transmission with the Volkswagen rear axle.

(kinda forgot what my car was since i can't find it so i'm going with this one)

after some time in the garage i took it out for some pictures, my S13 Hatchback with a 1JZ engine.

after i took it for a spin i felt that this car just doesn't do it for me anymore. so i'm thinking about to sell it or to trade it for something different, now the question is for what. might be an AE86 or something completely different

E34 had a pretty good Christmas... :D Received new 17'' wheels and few other things like Hella Black tail lights and new front bumper lip that can be seen in the pics. Since now i have proper wheels i have lowered the car a good bit. Probably could go a bit more lower, but I'm happy how it sits at the moment.
