Welcome @ new guys!
I've bolted the old wheels from the Cressida onto the Hontiac (Honda Pontiac y'know?) Not sure if I keep it like this, go for 17" or put the stock ones back on. (Yes it looks like a center-nut but that's only a cover.) |

# marcus915 : But no one can enforce the no posting rule unless Big Boss or Jesus Christ is willing to help, but I doubt that. I don't think there should be rules limiting creativity (like the third rule you suggested), but I agree with the other two - waay too often people are building full cars from rusted shells to showroom spec (ahem Ey papa) and moving onto a new car right away. Well thats why i started to read only few peoples post here, people who i know are holdin on that realism, others i simply skip, im here for ower a year and a half.Best realism people here are, shaforostov, marcus915 (he posts alot but small updates), Coprone and Haku, even though Haku lately sometimes lose the realism but i know how he did it ower the past 1 year.Idk, i hope i am in realism part of the crowd, at least i try to be,im not going crazy with my builds, and dont post all the time.The bigest build i had was that green Cressida, i literaly didnt updated the car for two weeks since i was ordering stuff from japan to arive.But that is mine POV, main thing is to have fun here. Back to topic I didnt do much lately, arm is getting much better and i can slowly work with it again.Integra is sitting in the garage since i have to fix the camber and rim aligement, it slovly turns to the right.Just enjoying the drive in the Benz as its soft to drive after the static 200SX. Hope i can give some new info on what is going on through this week. *cheers* |

So, I figured out it is time to post some Corrado progress. Please give me some feedback about realistickness of my roleplay
I stripped out the front and put the new parts, as following: -new struts and trailing arms -Tein Circuit Master Type N1 shocks and springs -Willwood 310mm brakes with 6 piston calipers -Volk Ewing III's (I bet they will look better than my old Porsche Fuchs) Now, you may note that I stripped out the interior. That's because I am turning this thing into a racecar (ish) Only thing is, that I wanna put Orciari front aswell, which is not so racecar-ish :P...... Also, I am thinking about putting GM LS3 into this car... I guess that I am not realistic by that. Will that be an overkill or nah? |

1987 Volkswagen Golf Cl 1.8
Specifications Engine: 1.8 litre 8v Horsepower: 110 hp Torque: 156 Nm(115 lb-ft) @3100 RPM Miles: approx 220k miles Colour: stratosblau metallic Known mods: cut springs, aftermarket steeringwheel Hows it going people? Hope your all fine! So let me explain this monstrosity. I wanted some sort of a winterbeater and had some leftover money from the Lexus(dont worry I didnt sell it). So I took a look at various car selling sites, asked around and got my name out there with some help from friends and family. I basically told them to hit me up if they found something I might find to be interesting. I wanted something different from the rwd life and also Euro so with that in mind we started looking at old hatchbacks. Old Fiestas, Clios, Peugeots and those type of cars. Took me a few weeks before I made up what I wanted in my mind. It was between this MK2 golf and a MK2 Fiesta. Infact I even went and took a look at both cars and while I was testdriving the fiesta I quickly realised that it was not for me. In ways it felt way to low budget to me. So the Golf was the clear winner here! It was also down to the overall look of the cars etc.... So, after another testdrive and all the papers were signed I now owned a golf. Not sure if i'll regret this or not since the car is in pretty rough shape. Rust at most common areas, broken heater core, blown struts, leaking sunroof, spongy brake pedal..... this is just some of the faults haha. I will have a full list of the faults so far at the end.But hey I got it for a decent price so Im happy with it. It will make for a fun winter daily! Incase your wondering if this is replacing my Lexus it sort of is. Im not selling the Lexus but I'd rather let an old beaten up golf handle the salty roads than the Lexus. Might take it out here and there but it most likely will stay in the garage with the cuntpact. Stay tuned as I try to make this POS into less of a POS by spending money on it and then regretting it! |

@Marcus915 Yes I know, but turbocharging VR6 makes me need to buy ugly front bumper, which I don't like at all. Remember that I can put LS3 transversed and with FWD/AWD gearbox. Just lemme check some informations about this.

A front wheel drive LS3 sounds like a boat load of understeer cause you'll be making a lot of power. But would be interesting to see what you can do with it.
So I picked up the really big 50mm spacers, and the rear fitment is on point..Now I'm at a new debate.. Wangan wing- Or Kouki wing? Never been so undecided on my car.. |

@Marcus915 Well... I think I could adapt the VR6 drivetrain, since VR6 has got AWD optional. I haven't said that I will drive it FWD
PS. Kouki looks better IMO |

I just got a new car, as a gift.Well its not new, its in rlly bad shape but the thing is my friends bought me a car so i can learn to drift.Since they know how much i spent on the RPS13 200SX, they thought it would be cool to get me a car so i can learn drifting.As i sad the car is in bad shape, but it drives.They sad its rlly cheep to turn it into a drift car so i dont have to spend alot of money on it.They will help me with it.Its a 91' BMW 318i (90hp), it has rust all ower the place, the back of the car is kinda ok with rust, the front is rlly bad.They sad it doesnt matter cause i will probably put dents into it with drifting so there will be alot of body work all the time.Engine is suprisingly good to the rest of the car.It runs but we need to open it and see the real condition.They got it for $400 and they all gave a bit to it.I duno what i shuld say other then "Thanks to my Buddy's", we will start working on it this week i hope, the Integra shuld come before it for the aligement.
*cheers* |

@marcus: definately Kouki.
I'm going to visit my parents who are living in Chicago now. Well, it's more than 106 miles to drive, I don't have sunglasses, I don't smoke and the Cressida wasn't a cop car either. But hey, I might play a Blues Brothers song on my radio on the way there XD Let's hope the Cressida won't fall apart as soon as I stop in front of their house XD So basically I'm not in town for about a week but I'll keep checking your posts on my smartphone. Well in terms of realism; I know I'm bad and most people don't even read what I post. I keep on posting because I like it. |

so...i was fixing my water pump on the beemer and my bro called me up said he's friend is selling his zenki.Went out to check it out,engine is picco bello,bodywork is straight as fuck,koni coilovers almost like new except no lights,no windows and 4A-GE blue top with black top intake manifold.he asked 14k for it i was like i give you 12 on the dot right now right here.shook hands and deal done.My plans for it are unknown yet,maybe let her sit in the garage till i decide what to do,i have all the windows and all the lights,maybe add a lip,lower it and camber the front wheels some more (-2.0 currently) i think i will get out that 4A-GE but dont know what to put in...if anyone has suggestions for the engine,color and wheels,advise me pl0x.Happy building m8's

So as you saw last time the 240 was in the garage for a paintjob, and it's now finished painting. It looks so much better in black then it used to look in blue tbh. Also went for a itasha based paintjob for extra JDMness. Call me a ricer i don't care haha And i've also sold the BBS 2 months ago because i wasn't in the best financial situation, but meanwhile things got better and i've sold some stuff i didn't needed (because racecar nº1 priority) and got these fucking awesome mint Work Meisters S1 18 inch rims from Craigslist for 1.500$. Yes they are real Works not Vorsteiners or whatever. And last but not least, i've changed the kouki tails for D-Max tailights, still got the kouki tails but decided to go for a change. Soon i'm gonna start the EJ20 swap on the Legacy, just wanted to get this out of the way first and also there's a drift event around the corner and i'm going there This post was edited by ramalhinho07 (2015-11-25 00:47, ago) |
