# ramalhinho07 :

I have no damn luck in life.

A guy who i had a fight in a bar with decided to take revenge on my 240sx, can't even call insurance because for all they know i've got a stock 240sx. Of all days why didn't i put it in the garage damn it... I was working on my legacy and forgot to put the 240 back in...

Right now i can't afford a new paint job, my budget is too low, the 240 will go back to the garage for a while...

Update on the 240sx

I've started to fix the 240sx. And also painted it in a new color.

But i had to sell my BBS RF wheels in order to have money to do so. I picked up these OEM Nissan S13 wheels from ebay for 100$ with tyres already so i would say it's a bargain. Sold the BBS from 1200$ with the Yokohama tyres on them, to a guy who owns a mk4 golf.

With that money i went to get the car painted and replaced the rear damaged window. In the pic the car doesn't have the final coat of paint yet but it's looking so good right now. Now i'm gonna start to search for new rims, my paycheck is almost coming and i might have enough for something nice.

Also news on the Legacy, my friend Jorge gave me his EJ20 engine from his old vw bug for my Subaru for free, and for some help with his car that was awesome from him, i'm gonna work on that soon, for now i'm gonna finish my 240sx.

Did a few small things to the BMW.
-Changed the rear lights
-Changed front griller
-Removed rear lip spoiler
-Re-Added BMW badging to trunk & hood

I am not yet sure if I am going to repaint the car. I will sleep on it.

Picked up a rare Version Select T-6 bumper (essentially a more aggressive Type X bumper with R33 GT-R vents), and sprayed it quickly in my garage. Looks mint.

And booty shot.

Lol what does age have to do with this? That's the best you could come up with? Pffft.

I completely agree, some of the people here are awesome because they post awesome stuff and take time in their roleplays while others simply "find" a car and fix it within 3 days. Kinda sad really.

That's actually a good idea though, like maybe even if it was locked and certain users who are known for realistic roleplays can post, but everyone can still view. Just an idea.

Yo whats the retail on one of those?

I thought of simple rules like:
-Take your time. Noone can restore a car in 3 days.
-Do some research about the car you want to build.
-Think over the engines you want to install in your car. A V10 in a Civic is just stupid.

Those who break these rules are not allowed to post for a certain time (Like a few weeks or so) but is still allowed to view. After that time (Real time of course) they are allowed to post again.

I can make up more rules if desired.

But no one can enforce the no posting rule unless Big Boss or Jesus Christ is willing to help, but I doubt that. I don't think there should be rules limiting creativity (like the third rule you suggested), but I agree with the other two - waay too often people are building full cars from rusted shells to showroom spec (ahem Ey papa) and moving onto a new car right away.

Anywho, back to somewhat realistic builds

Picked up a set of much wider Origin Lab +55mm overfenders; test fit right now, but I'm liking em. Need to pick up a wider spacer..

Your first proposed rule is usually why I present my RPs as "this is a set of photos taken over a few years, only posted now" or "hey look at these photos I dug up".

Also, like... if we're talking really researched builds, I think I've got that covered. ;P

On-topic (as in, yes, this is RP):
Anyone want a set of four bronze TE37s, all in 19x10.5J? [they're actually 19x11 for SLRR purposes]

This particular style is supposedly not too common - older 18" TE37s are all over the place, and newer 19" TE37s don't seem to come in bronze very often. The wheels have no visible curb rash. They come on a set of Yokohama Advan Neova's with about 60% tread left - good summer tires, but not awesome in the wet.

May have been attached to a certain 900whp speed demon. Said speed demon is also a diva and would look good in new shoes.

Asking $3600 USD flat for the set, including the tires on them. In no hurry to sell.

That'd be good. I'm still going "shopping" for the R33, but right now I have it on the old wheels that the G8 was once on (the 19" set of Advan T5s I bought for it), so it's not like I need them on the car at the moment.

*****SOLD TO ENJOI*****

Sad news. My uncle recently passed away and left his shop/apartment combo in Kingston Ontario to me. So I am selling everything I have here in Valo, including my cars.
I would prefer a package deal for them. $50 000 gets my Supra and the E30. I will put this money towards a new project once I get settled in. I am currently writing this from Ontario, so the selling will be done by my friend.

He can deliver them to anywhere in the Valo area for $50 000. What you get is...

BMW E30

-Airbag suspension
-417 WHP 13B
-BF Goodrich Stretched R16 205/55 tires
-Clean title
-All original paperwork

Toyota Supra MKIV

-Skunk2 Pro Suspension
-577 WHP 2JZ
-HRE C106
-Dunlop Direzza Stretched R19 255/25 tires
-Aftermarket Bodykit (Kit #3 On Skyline's Supra)
-Endless 4 Piston brakes
-Recaro seats
-Nardi steering wheel

I have more than $50 000 into both these cars, I will not take anything under.

Here's my R33 on the Advan AVS T5 wheels that used to be on the G8. The guy who bought the G8 from me wanted to get something new, so I'm tentatively borrowing these from him until either he decides he's buying something new or he wants them back.

After posting the build of that wine red R33 a couple pages back, I decided my car would look a lot more modern on black wheels, and that the bronze really only worked on a darker car to begin with. TE37s are gone, so in any case, I've got to get something new.

If I can't keep these, I might go for some five-spoke SSR wheels. Thoughts?

@Harrison: That R33 is looking sexy! If you need any help hit me up man, don't have much going on after the BN kit for my S13 has been installed.

I have a good amount of work done to the s13. Me and my boy Marcus took some time to sand the car down and repaint it and I also picked up a new project car. Sadly it doesnt have an engine, but I hope I could sort that out.

Thanks, everyone!

Incidentally, it sounds like the G8 guy has bought a rather pricey set of HREs and won't be looking to have the Advans back any time soon. Looks like these are the new wheels on the car! (It had 18" Advans before, but again, those ended up being too small for the new brakes, lol.)

So I was driving around, trying to learn the area, when I stumbled across this house on the outskirts of Kingston...

I don't know if I will end up getting this car, but I sure as hell want it. N/A RWD ER34. It looks like somebody's daily. I might knock on the door and see if they will do a trade. Honda Fit + some cash for ER34. If this works I will be shocked. Walking up to the door now. Wish me luck.

Nice find! Looks like a clean car, and although I'd normally want to say "check for rust", I have the feeling that that car is going to be as good as any other. Good luck trying to get it.

Since I have 50k to play with because I traded my Honda for this, I am thinking about swapping in an RB26DETT from a GTR. Once I source the motor I will be sure to contact you, Marcus. I do not know if I will go AWD or keep it RWD. I guess I will figure it out.

I just bought this ruined S14 Kouki, it is a bit rusty but I don't have much to do with it.

Question, when should i update this roleplay build?

Update it when you think it is realistic. For example, a car that is a shell should take quite a while to fix up, so consider doing weekly updates on small progress. Remember, this is a realism topic, but you can interpret it in your own way and be creative.

These past few days have been running parts for the 1.5JZ in the S13; finally got it started this morning.

Will get on dyno later today, and see how much power she makes.
