Go with a full Stage 4 RB26/30 :D And then put a small turbo in top of it , and expect like at least 600 hp.

Powdercoated my headcover, so its the same color as the Stang. I also sanded the SHIET out of the Sileighty, and primered it. I bolted the wing onto the vehicle. What color should I paint the car?

Well this thread went from tame when it started, to more in depth with some minor realism, to look I just bought a car and same day I put 1000HP in it oh and I sold it the next day.

After weeks of searching for an S chassis, I found this crap of an S15. Clearly, it had a rough upbringing.
Every panel had a scuff, scratch, dirt, rust and dent, the interior was gutted, front frame is kinda twisted, only the front windshield attached and it was sitting on all sorts of factory wheels. Its listed on a Japanese auction site and currently a representative of mine over there is sealing the deal for me on it. Trouble is, I dont really have the space for it right now as the garage at my place already has my subie and my girlfriend's turd. Im wondering if there are any shops out here that are willing to ship and store the S15 for me while I clear the garage. Also, Im wondering if the said shop is interested in the build planned for the S chassis.

Slightly off topic, my girlfriend is trying out this new vegan diet to try to get my pants all hot when I look at her (this is actually true this). Even though I repeatedly say that she is fine the way she is right now, she ordered a delivery of vegan stuff and organic things which I will never comprehend of what they are. About half an hour or so, her delivery arrived. I dont know about you guys, but the delivery vehicle looked kinda familiar to me. (rather disappointingly, this isn't true)

Lost Escort: Part 1

2 months later I got a phone call from my dad. He told me that a friend of him bought an old farm and found something interesting in the barn. I got there and I saw my dad and his friend in front of a barn. Dad was like: "You're ready for this?" And opened the door. I saw a small red car buried in trash, dust and what not. "I don't know what it is yet", said my dad's friend Eddie (Who bought the farm) and so we dug it out. After a while we saw the front of the car and I recognized the unusual shape of the front grille: It has the shape of a bone. More digging revealed the whole car and confirmed my first thought: It's a 1st gen Ford Escort. RHD car which is unusual here. We towed it out and boy those tires were cracked and flat. After a while we found out that the car must have been from the UK since it has a mile speedometer in it. Tried to crank it but nothing happened of course. The car was last on the road in 1982. Eddie was like: "You want it, John?" I said: "Sure, I could use a car like that."

I didn't have my cam with me but I'll take a pic as soon as I got it home.

@Haku: It was like that in the beginning, too. XD Super quick builds, every day another car and so on. But I should keep my mouth shut with an overpowered car as a beginner's car which is utterly unrealistic in the second thought

@dxg: Watanabes on a Mustang? Umm... Wouldn't Torq Thrust wheels or something like that more suitable?

You can do as much as you want, what I'm saying is how would you have an unlimited bank account right away and how do you install a brand new engine or something in 3 hours? Lmao. It's the concept of the thread, not that it's obviously a game.

Never heard of crate engines ? And apart from the ton of parts that already are in the shop (because it's not only for personal builds , there may be customers , ranging from a rims swap to a turbo kit , etc) , would you order the parts only in the moment you need it ? I think almost everyone (or at least I do , and I don't tell everytime my plans in the moment I organize them , I may do it later) makes a plan , X car for Y purpose that need Z parts. So , knowing that the car is popular enough to find it , pricey or not , well-kept or rusty : order parts , at the same time the search for the car begins , bought the car I take it to the shop and I modify it. Leave out a little (not all , just a little) of the shit that happens when you're running a shop IRL (like shipping that comes late) , add a big crew that helps you in the car build and well , yes , a lot of money earned with night races and stock exchange. It's a game , so I think that the main purpose is fun. Everyone has it's own tastes and opinions , and for me fun may be popular swaps , building bad-ass cars or just owning a Porsche as a week-end car and a Mustang as a daily driver (things that I think are cool , but it's my opinion , not that I don't accept one from someone other , it's a forum and not certainly my personal showoff). Also real life obviously has to do with playing SLRR and so posting updates on car builds. There are some periods , some days or some hours wich I'm totally busy , so no computer = no SLRR. Some others I have a lot of free time and I like to update builds as much as I can. No hate , just my 0.02.

You just typed a paragraph after telling me "It's a fucking game" :)) :)) :)) :))

Truth be told I couldn't be bothered to read all of it because you clearly don't get what I'm saying. You post saying you purchased a car. In the same day you say you took out one engine and put in a new one, bought a complete body kit even though you just got the car the day of, and it's already pushing 1000HP. Crate engines, yeah they exist, What's your point? I've used them as well for my builds but I also don't say yeah they just bolted right in no issues, took 2 hours from my last post. At the end of the day, do your thing, I used to update frequently too. Your 0.02 and my 0.02 have been posted, lets put it to rest here.

So, to start myself off I am going to hunt for something that runs and take it from there. I have about $3000...

Picked up this little thing for $1000 from a police auction. It is a rolling chassis, with bits from multiple S15's. Everything that's left is extremely clean as it was stored in a warehouse with other seized cars. The car was seized in a drug raid back in April. Now I am the proud owner of 1 ex-drug dealer's drift car. A big accomplishment. I also own a stock VW Golf but that is my daily and it is fine as is.

Some pictures of the new-to-me Silvia. Oh yeah also it came with a rear spoiler inside of it, don't know if I am going to keep it yet...

THIS X1000000000000000000000000000

At least TRY to spend some time with your builds and put SOME detail please. No one ever buys a car, drops a 1000 hp motor (which does not come as a crate engine), does all the suspension work, tuning, and parts sourcing, in one day, and then gets bored of it and sells it right away..

Sent the Silvia off to an interior specialist to have the inside of the car re-apholstered :) For the time being I have to sit tight and start collecting parts for my build. Looking at some Top Secret kits, and it is mighty tempting...

Hey guys, I bought a smashed S13 and 1 second later,it has a wisefab kit and a full LS conversion with stripped interior and rust free. How does that work?
It's no fun unless you put detail into it. Anyway, I just judge by the amount of posts made, then I make a response. I usually wait for upwards of 5 posts to make an update so that it doesn't seem like a 1 second build.

So I managed to make up some solid steel mounts for the 3.8 to fit in the good ole Sileighty. No driveline, wireing, or ANYTHING, other then the fact that the engine is sitting in the vehicle. Had to change the headcovers because it would run with no hood if I kept the stock ones in. I might run with NO hood when I eventually get around to supercharging it. I'm currently waiting on a CUSTOM driveshaft and and differential so I can fit the V6 trans in, and make sure that it fits well. Oh, and I also got sideways with the SN95 earlier today.

So guys, I did a thing...
About a week ago my Rocket Bunny front bumper came in the mail. After installing it, it looked kind of odd with the pop ups. No matter what I did It just wouldn't fit right. So I decided to take a cruise over to the Valo City junkyard in hopes to find some headlights to replace the pop ups with. Luckily I found a white Sil80 while scavenging around. I ended up taking both headlights, a hood, and the grill. For $50 I couldn't pass it up. I ended up taking the Silvia to Pudsey to Install the headlights and stuff at the Vstanced garage. With a little wiring help and some borrowed tools we ended up finishing everything in about 2 days.
I'm still not sure how much I like these headlights because I'm in love with pop ups. But I'm not gonna complain about it, I think it looks good for now and I don't feel like switching them back over.
Here's some shots I took of the the sleeping beast.

I'm also looking for a new daily! So If anyone has something or knows of something please get at me ASAP!

Lost Escort: Part 2

I got the little red Escort home and gave it a good cleaning. There is quite some rust on it (didn't do a paintjob; Too lazy) and some parts are missing. I've put a new battery in it but the engine won't turn over. I am afraid that either the starter is busted or the engine is seized up. The shocks are completely wet and probably done for. I have to research some more about that model so I know what I'm doing XD

I want to restore it and use it as my daily since the Corrado is kinda thirsty.

so taking a break from working on my Miata and RPS13, a friend and I decided to buy a 180SX hatch together, and share the costs of running the car. We wanted to better our driving skill at Ebisu, but I didn't want to put my good hatch at risk of smashing into the jump drift wall.

Sits on lowering springs, and has an SR20DE in it. Basic mods, full cage, makes around 220 hp.

After a day of crashing the car and slaying tires, it looked like this;

Yes the frame is all fucked but it tracks straight, and plus I'm much more confident at Ebisu, and we wanted to save as much money as we could with this car so we just pulled the frame straight with a winch.

Ebisu track staff also said we needed at least one working headlight and tailight so we improvised.

This car stays parked up at Ebisu since it isn't road legal and it's just easier to store it there since this is our missile car.

After a nice weekend of car events in which I showed off the S13, me and my girlfriend ended up taking the long way home so that we could hit up the track. My girl drove the daily and I drove the truck pulling the Silvia, and when we got to Ebisu, she was determined to learn how to drift.

So I went around once to see that the car was driving fine before letting her give it a go.

Then it was her turn.

and she did pretty well for a learner. It took a few laps before she could get her counter steering down, but she continued to improve.

after a couple sets of tires I told her it was time for her to buy her own drift car. So today she did.

Here's her 1991 Nissan 240SX Chuki. It's not entirely special, but... well actually that's it really, it's just your run of the mill drift kid's 240SX. It has a near stock 2JZ swap already done, hydraulic e-brake, momo steering wheel, a single bride seat. But I suppose it has character. The main thing is I can drift with bae. She has plans for the appearance and we're already about to do some mods to it, she's already bugging me about it. More soon.
