Okay. If you see a lowered Jetta MkI pull up there, don't worry. It's mine. Suspension's probably broken, still haven't checked. Speaking of the Jetta...

I recently bought this Jetta from a youngster who wanted to turn it into a drift missile... Parts were fallen off, and the engine was stock.
I'm hoping to restore it to mint condition, but not completely stock. My first step is fixing the bumpers and the fallen off parts.

Now, I'm hoping I can fit the 2JZ and the muffler on the Jetta. If the engine doesn't fit, another car will have to take it.

# zerito : Most cars have them mounted the "right" way but on third and fourth gen Eclipse's since they are FWD the engine is mounted "Wrong". Second Gen's are 4bangers so thats why I shoehorned the engine on it.

They are not the only Mitsus like this, 3000GT's also have the engine mounted the "wrong way" :P

Don't forget the J-series in the Honda accord, odyssey, and other v6 hondas

So, small update on the Jetta. I didn't really have time for anything big, but I managed to buy a new suspension kit and rise the height.

Still not high enough. I'm thinking of getting a new suspension kit. I have another car chassis sitting around, and I don't want to let it rust.

That's because it's going to be my daily driver. Not the most appealing appearance, but it's comfortable and it gets me from point A to B. Plus, there's so much free space, I can also transfer stuff with it. I'll have it until I get something better.

Added 16 minutes later:

The chassis I was talking about earlier:

I'm thinking of making this a drift missile, and to hop in the bandwagon, I'll drop in the 2JZ that I'll get from Tom Diablo. The exhaust pipe will go to the Jetta.

So, I removed all traces of the engine cover and hood... and, cuz its midengined, i figured this would work, I shortpiped it right out of the engine through twin boso exhaust, and also got the cage fitted. Decided to put in a Sparco racing seat (Holy shit thats a tight fit xD) so I don't slide all around, and also picked up a front bumper with a splitter to replace the dented one... I should be at Ebisu within a few days...

{3 days later}

I'm at Ebisu!! I just saw this sweet BMW M Coupe and tried to get a pic of it with my phone... I need a new camera xD I managed to catch him in the pits, because he pulled into the stall next to mine... I love the Hoonigan rims... but he wanted a grand for the set, no tires... As for the Fiero, the officials tried to give me shit about the brakes, saying the calipers gripped to hard... So I dialed them down. Ahh, the luxuries of Brembo... other then that, just waiting on Phantom and Facepalm...

Added 59 minutes later:

I was drifting the Ponti, waiting for the other two to show up, and I had my big collision! I think its easy to say, this bumper is a gonner...

Added 1 hour later:

So, I've been working on the Corolla behind the scenes, and I decided to give the second spot on the trip to it... Right now, shes in the trailer, So I'm gonna go pull it out and shoot some pics of it... I didn't set it up as a complete drifter, but more like a show car that CAN drift...

# dxg1997 :I'm at Ebisu!!
Just saying: it's highly unlikely to see USDM and European cars at Ebisu.
Some updates on my S13- The damage from drifting is really starting to show. I damaged my front a while ago on a short wall on the local track. It's pretty fucked but luckily the filler and primer doesn't really show the damage. I'll replace the hood, fender and light and just repair the bumper since it's pretty hard to find. I first put a clear wrap over my headlight so it at least looks decent but then I got a universal triple projector that took the headlight's place. It kinda sucks but it will work for the while. In other news, I got a new, QUIETER exhaust, raised the car for more practical driving and now I'm in search of a turbo. Most likely I'll be getting a top mount exhaust manifold, gasket and a garrett turbo by the end of the month because I'm losing psi on this stock turbo. It's bad enough that I run 10psi..I barely have any boost to lose.

as you can see, my headlights are definitely in need of a replacement.

The projector thing really sucks but it's just as bright as the right headlight so it will work for now.
Soon to come, my new turbo setup as well as a proper ECU tune and some other goodies. Hopefully aiming at around 350HP :D

I imported it from across the pond. I brought my Toyota (BELOW) and the Fiero in on the boat in a trailer behind a Ram.

There was ALOT of buzz around the car, even though I couldn't understand half of what was said... :P

So i ended up buying a miata for 200 euro instead of a vw transporter last month, my girl is still pissed since the kids don't fit in the miata..
The miata was a victim of a carcrash with hit and run so the prev owner couldn't get it repaired with the money he would have recieved.

Poor condition, isn't it? Oh well first things first: fix the bended front and fit replacement parts, new bumper, stock fenders, doors, hood, everything that was replacable has been replaced. Also added a new suspension and some steelies.

Picked a fab collor, dark moon blue

Time to add the new engine, a fire breathing 2JZ-GTE, producing 685 hp and 770 nm torque. Sound provided by a carbon accent HKS TI exhaust system

First fit of the bodykit, a set of wide fenders (front and rear), also spraypainted them.

FINALY the trunk and the hardtop arived, installed them the moment the UP truck left! Also there was the the rear and front lights in one of the boxes! fitted them instantly!

The Miata's first time outside, still not what i want it to look like ... but it's the start of a awsome project imo.

I desided to take of the front fenders, the lights both front and rear and also threw away the sideskirts, they looked like shit anyway. Time to reinstall the stock bodykit again, also fitted some jdm headlights and the stock rear lights wich came with the car.

Oh well, 93% of the money is spend so i fitted some rims that i had laying in the warehouse behind my garage, not sure wich one i'm gonna use..

the steelies..

List to do:
- Find a cool set of rims;
- New tires;
- Camberpats on the rear suspension,
- New seats

Lemme know what you guys think of it so far.

Got this piece of trash of a bmw 3 series(CSL) from Joe's used dealership junkyard, paid it 450€.

While waiting it to be delivered i started ordering new parts such as VStanced Garage suspension arms, Koni Maximum Adjustability shocks and springs, Lexus LFA brakes(front and rear)...

.. and some cool wheels, Enkei RS05RR on front and SSR Gartmaier on back, both running on Bridgestone Potenza RE002 tyres.
I spent just 839€ for rims and 820€ for tyres.

My guys at NRT workshop gifted me a set of handmade double pipes, i provided to cut and weld the stock pipe to remove the cat and center filter.
It sounds amazing now!

Also got a used passenger seat and a brand new Recaro black alcantara Pole Position seat, only for true connoisseurs. ;)
I also made a custom rollbar for it.

I had a brand new Energizzler battery in my garage, i bought it for another project but never got to finish it so here it is, installed in my new project.

Car - 450€
Suspensions - 2156€
Shock absorbers - 4188€
Springs - 1088€
Brakes - 4366€
Rims - 839€
Tyres - 820€
Exhaust pipe - 80€
Muffler - Free
Rollbar - 350€
Battery - ~110€
Driver seat - 1563€
Passenger seat - 259€

Total - 16269€

Sold FL Suspension, Shock, Spring, Brake, Rim and stock muffler for 320€

Total - 15949€

Had to do some cut and weld for the rear suspension and shock mounts so to fit the über wide rear wheels.
Here you can see L done and R not.

And the fitment done.

Sold stock bumper, lights(head and tail), side grills, L door for 575€

Total - 15374€

Bought and tuned a 2jz for 12000€

Total - 27374€

Stay tuned, more stuff to come. :D

I bought a wrecked Miata when I hauled the remains of the Celica to the junkyard. It'll be a RX-7 mockup including a rotary engine. When I put the wreck on the trailer I also got the rotary and the front end of a RX-7 FD that got rolled over.

I already installed a suspension in it.

A widening kit and a fastback roof are ordered and coming from Japan. Meanwhile I will install the engine.

I'm loving the tuning scene here at Ebisu. I've gotten TONS of offers for the Corolla, but I want to tour it around my home town of Valo. I've gotten alot of offers in the 27k range.

$3,000 Chassis and Body
$6,000 Engine and parts
$2,000 Suspension and wheels
$1,000 Paint
$3,000 Extra parts (Upgraded radio and computer with race counter, oil cooler, Steering wheel, Racing seat, Roll cage, and Nitrous)
______________
Total $14,000

If I accepted an offer I would gain a $13,000 profit... That's enough to get a new project car, but I want to hold on to it a bit longer. That car has been a journey! From trailer racer to AWESOME :RICE: Racer! If anyone wants to test drive it, just let me know. Its got about 770 HP twin turbo and 150 shot of nitro. The Advan tires are so sticky, the custom made computer was saying I was pulling 1.3 g's out around the Ebisu course. I got here early enough I got the track to myself for about 15 min, and I got a few laps in. The acceleration is mind-bending. 60 to 120 on the back straight came in literally 1.2 seconds and the accel pulled me back 1 whole g. Then, braking, for the hairpins, it was pulling 1.7 g's and from what the officials cameras said, the discs were glowing bright red. Pulling out of the first hairpin, and going into the second, I pulled the handbrake, and floored it for one second, and broke the rear end loose, and just held it at a respectable 30 degrees, and rotated into the third hairpin. Screaming out of there, foot down, turbos spooling up, I came up on the triple kinked part (I was on the Minami course) and slid around those, twisting and turning to line up for the next turn. The Corolla is starting to grow on me. I may even custom fab hood to fit over the MASSIVE engine and turbos and just make it into my daily...

Oh hey dxg, sorry I didn't came down to Ebisu. You may see me cruising around the Shutokou C1, if you want to meet me.

Okay, so today the 2JZ and the Exhaust pipe arrived. Since I live in Japan, I couldn't come by.

Engine fits like a glove! I also got some running gear on the car.

The exhaust pipe looks amazing on the Jetta! Thank you Tom Diablo for the exhaust pipe AND the engine!

So I got some suspension and brakes and wheels, and I lowered the car and gave it some negative camber. Am I doing it right?

And then I got the body panels. And added a big ass spoiler, because drift car.

Added 5 minutes later:

Temporary drift car, not permanent.

FINALLY! Here are pictures of my new ride! It is a BMW E46 M3 (EURO), almost stock with a 2.2l I6 engine. I got it for 4k$ from father's co-worker. It had already a bit tuned engine (new manifold, filters and belts), some interior add-ons, new front seats, VStanced coilovers & modified struts! The seller also gave yellow foglights & a lip. Here are some pictures when I got that nice (not so nice actually) beast.

Now I've edited few things on this machine, got used Fikse's from JK Shop with very thin tires. Added lip & changed foglights to yellow. Few years ago I had bought carbon BMW badge just for fun, thought it would be cool even I didn't car at that time, but now I slammed that on my hood.
Plans I'm going to have are more blackness to the car, burnouts & stronger engine!

Once the mechanical work was done i bought a bunch of brand new parts from bmw.. these guys are nuts, their parts costs a friggin lot! x.x
The parts i bought directly from them are: trunk, R bumper(shaved by myself), lights(tinted with a 5€ spray can :D ), GTR hood and sideskirts.
I also ordered some custom parts such as Carbon side grilles and hood profiles, Carbon roof(had to cut the old one to fit this, quite a messy job but looks good and weights about 50kg less now), Trunk straps and Hood clips.
My friend Phantom, from Phantom's Drift Tech Inc. sent me a Carbon wing and R diffuser he made for a show, basically they are brand new with few fingerprints, nothing a bit of polish cant fix. :D

Time to choose a color for this biatch.

Crap i just noticed i need two new mirrors, ordered them from BWM, they want 570€ for them... focers!

So, just when I was about to pull over, I crashed my Jetta! The engine fell off, and the front wheels got jammed... It was written off, and now I'm stripping it for parts. I'll have to turn the Brougham into a daily now... So no big ass spoiler, no negative camber and higher ride height.

Added 25 seconds later:

(Real reason: My game corrupted the cars AGAIN, and the Jetta was laggy anyway...)

So After a month of Vacation, I return to go make a project.
So I bought a Javelin, It cost me 1000$ ( I deal the guy to drop the price from 10000 to 1000 )

Look at those wheels, Who the hell will put those on a Javelin
