# David_2709 : I know a C&C Import that is in East Valo. It imports European cars into Asia and US. Try calling it at 1-483-CCIMPORTCorrection: Drifting with an EJ powered Starlet. |

So after I put all the trim back on, I finally can say: It's done! The first stop I had was my buddy who has the turbocharged Golf MK2. Towed the car until I was a block away, put on Avicii - Levels and was hooning in front of his house. He came out and was like "WTF?!" and he had to resocket his eyes. He really likes the car and the whole Idea of putting a rotary in it. Then I went to Haku to run this thing on the dyno. He loves the scream of that rotary at full throttle. But enough talk; PICTURES! LOTS OF THEM!
Since everyone loves the Borbets: SIDESHOT! This is the dyno sheet: Remember, it has peripheral ported rotor housings, a larger intercooler and a modified ECU. Also got this 1999 Ford Transit diesel as my new shop truck. It is registred as a corporate car. Plus a used car trailer since the Transit has a trailer hitch. |

So i needed a new project, so i sold my R32 and sierra for a total of 12000$
For 6000$ i bought this FC3S (Mazda Rx7 89'), Its just a rolling chassis wich means there's no engine in the car. |

So my plans of picking up a MX5 didnt happen. I was going to look at a mariner blue one yesterday but it was sold once I got to his place which pissed me off. I told the dude to keep it til I saw it. With a bad mood I remember I had a plan B aswell.
I knew of a guy who was selling his 1989 Foxbody Mustang. Unfortunately not running. It needs a whole lot of new parts including a new alternator, starter, carburetor, head gaskets amongst other things. Felt like a dumb move to buy it but I did! Here it is! What are my plans? To drift it hard like I would do to an MX5 if I picked one up But first I need to sort out the issues of the engine. Make sure its healthy for whats to come. If anyone knows of someone who might have the following parts let me know: Starter Alternator Headgaskets Ignition distributor Waterpump Cooling fan These are the parts I know needs replacing at the moment. There are probably boatload of things that needs replacing but I wont do them, only the bare essentials to get the car running and somewhat of a good car at the track. Plans are to keep it a low cost build but knowing me that will change |

I Bought an 13B N/A rotary engine pumping exactly 217hp. When it arrived i started immediately putting the engine in the car. Once i got it running i immediately started to hoon the shit out of the car, it was a blast! XD I painted the car black. I also ended up rebuilding the exhaust ( It was leaking like HELL ) A accident also occured... (Sorry for VERY long post) |

# dxg1997 : Also, what do you guys think of the Minto? It's mint XD I like the idea of putting a modern engine + suspension into an older car so I want to do something like that as well. Possible is: Golf MK3 with Golf MK6 GTI tech (Finding the engine + DSG trans will be tricky) '71 Camaro with LS3 and modern suspension 70's Corolla with a more modern Toyota engine that has EFI (maybe a 4A-GE blacktop or silvertop) + new suspension |

I got mine for the primary purpose of cutting out rust and eventually wider tires because drift car. Speaking of drift car, I got my hydro brake from enjuku racing today and ordered a recaro because I love the way they feel in my evo. (insert pics later) |

I'm currently working on strengthing the frame on the Minto. I'm genuenly not sure if the stock frame can take the torque from the V8. That, and I need to change out the gears in the diff. It's currently just an open diff, pretty basic, but strong. I'm gonna install a Ford Racing FR500S. Its a T2-R type torsion differential. Bias Ratio of 4.0, and its 31 spline. This mutha is gonna FLY, so damn fast. I need to go and get some new gauges, because the original gauge only goes to 85 mph. I need something a little higher xD I'm thinking somewhere in the 180 range, like the 2010 Camaro SS.

Well, imported this instead of the Polo. Reasons being it comes in left hand drive, and was cheaper. I'm butchering it to turn it into a rally car, so functionally it should act the same as the Polo.

# CatInDaBox12 : @dgx1997 can I have a link for the cobra jet engine? It's just the Rescripted Devil's V8 found HERE. Also, sad news IRL. The engine went pop in my trusty Solara after 215,000 miles, and found a buyer for her. $600 cash, and he hauled her home. Lives in Illinois, so not too far, but I recorded the entire loading up and everything and will post it in the "Real life cars" thread and here once I get my old ass phone to connect to my new ass computer. |

@DXG I'd like to stick with the old name XD
I found this odd little '77 Corolla KE30 on the junkyard. It's a USDM model but someone converted it to RHD for a reason beyond me. Has no engine and trans. Some windows are busted and the seats are in horrible condition. It's also missing the hood, grille and headlights + taillights. Rust is mostly under the paint and under the car; Can't really see it in the pics but you have to believe me here. I think I'll go for a 4A-GE Silvertop or Blacktop, whatever I find first. I also think that Watanabes will look good on this one. |

Started tackling some bodywork the last couple of days. There were rust in several areas and still are. I mainly focused on the rear lights since that bothered me the most. I had to go apeshit with the grinder at some areas but luckily most of it was surfacerust. So I cut and welded in the new metal and then applied some bondo to fill out the bumps and make it flat and somewhat nice again. Wont be nice until I spray some paint over it which most likely wont happen in the near future. As I've said before this was meant as sort of a missile/driftslut so I dont feel the need to do that ATM.
Enough talking here is some before and after pics! I also removed the speedhunters logo, nothing against them but I didnt fit IMO, and instead threw on a hoonigan sticker. I went through the car and discoverd that all four shocks are leaking which sucks. Gives me an excuse to get rid of them aswell as the lowering springs. About the springs, one of previous owners only installed lowering springs in the front for some reason. This leaves me with gay rideheight in the front and even more gay in the rear... cant wait to sort that out! As far as the engine goes I am constantly on Valolist and Ubay(Cheesy AF I know) looking for parts. I bought an alternator aswell as a starter from one guy who claims they are in working condition. That's all he said. He seemed to be a nice guy and he told me I'd get my money back if they dont work. Ultimately I would like to find a donor engine for a reasonably good price and swap parts from it but my main objective is to make the current engine run! |

So i picked up a Suburban. Yeah. A suburban.
But not just any Suburban, oh no. A Surbaban.........Without an engine!!! And it came with a free toilet so i couldnt resist the $400 offer I stripped the rear and front bumper, possibly going to keep those depending on how the truck pans out in the end. I stripped the paint and found out the original color of the main body was a light greenish-blue color, kinda want to repaint it that color now :D. So does anyone have a V8 i can throw in this thing that i can build off of. Im kinda leaning towards making it a gasser or drag truck of some variant, cant go wrong with that |

@ 2jzCookie : You're giving me very compelling reasons to finish that Foxbody convertible version I started making a long time ago.
But, since I'm going to re-make the Foxbody at some point anyway (in full LOD0 quality but with all the same parts), I guess I'll just plan to have a convertible variant with that. |

Well, I know I said that I didn't really intend on modifying the S13 but I couldn't resist buying more stuff. I picked up a "New" FRP custom made bodykit for my S13. I got it for a sweet deal- $400USD and a BOV that I had no use for. Yesterday I mounted everything up just to see how it looked and I was amazed..too bad it won't actually remain on the car until I get a re-paint. Check it out-
Looks funny without a big IC up front. New exhaust setup needed. Not a scratch. |
