Whats up guys? Its been a while. Been busy with customer rides and I havent had time to work on mine. Got a little vacation last month and decided to go back to my little island on the Caribbean While there I found my first car in my dads garage and 1987 FC RX7. (Had one IRL too, currently drive an RX8) Its a mess but my old man was keeping it safe hoping I would fix it someday. Here are the pics.

Its missing the whole frond end. Engine is the original S5 13B-REW. N/A and Im planing to TT. I been working on these since I was a kid (IRL) so know my way around these engines. They say puertoricans are rotary crazy and can stuff a rotary in a toaster if they let them. Its true! lol Anyways...

I took it for a spin but the ride was VERY rough so I took it back in and pulled the engine right away, little dude is almost 80K miles so its due for a rebuild anyways.

Also found some fenders in my junk pile so I bolted them right away. I hope to work this car and finish it by sping so I can use it as my DD.

Hey dxg, I've got a job for you. While loading my 'Stang on a trailer, the exhaust broke. Can you, like, make me a new one or something?

(Since i had to restart)

I got a S14, gutted.. some cheap Ebay coilovers with cut springs, no steering rack, so no tie rod ends, so i had to strap the two knuckles together just to get it on the trailer.

Since (one of) the previous owner(s) cut the front end off(they actually did a pretty good job) i fab'd up a nice little tube front end for it, and put a new steering assembly in. When i mocked up a RB26DE i had lying around i found out why it was so sketch getting it onto the trailer.

I ordered doors, interior, Recaro seats, a trunk lid, and mirrors. Everything should be here this week, hopefully all at once.

As for my STI daily, I am currently in back and fourth emails with the guys over at 326power, trying to get a special one-off set of coilovers built specific to my 2011. now I am just waiting for there response (having trouble with install). for right know, ive ordered a set of ultra lows with new top mounts and camber plates. should be here tomorrow and the sti slammed

So, I got to work on Tom's Golf, and the engine need a bit of a tune up. I got a new exhaust manifold, and installed the turbo. Because of the placement of the radiator, it was a bit difficult lining the pipe up, but in the end, I got it.

After I got all that lined up, I threw her onto the lift to work on the exhaust, and the difficult driveline. I got the old driveshaft and LSD from the FrankenLevin, and cut down the ends of the axle, took off about 3 inches on each side. I rough fitted it and it fit really well! I polished up the ends so they weren't burred, and put it in place, put in the panhard rod (because its a live axle). I had to remove the rear seat to put the bolt through the body. Hope you don't mind Tom! :)) I hung the axle, and remounted the wheels. Then, I realized, that the old exhaust pipe on the body would seriously restrict the engine, so I widened the pipe, and fitted an extremely high flow titanium tip for no extra cost. This is one unique ride man!

Added 14 minutes later:

Oh, right, heres the Merc I got... I already installed some bags, and some AMG Monoblock rims. Pics of those coming soon. Gotta get a decent turbo for the diesel

(Because i'm bored)
*2 days later*
Well, i got everything i needed, got everything mocked up and ready for primer..but i had to do a quick interior shot.

And while i was waiting for a paint shop to call me back, i got the need for some new coils, like some Ksport Controls, so i took off the shit Ebay coils and scrapped them.

I put it on jackstands and figured i'd take a quick picture, after i got everything put on it was onto the trailer and headed for the paint shop.

-If i get bored i'll probably update it again.

@dxg: I wanted to take out the rear seats, anyway to build a cage for it... But I think you overdid it with all the stickers, dude! It'll be a daily, not a drift missile XD But hey, it's see and be seen so I'm cool with it. Instead of the domo and the pedobear you could put on the logo of your shop! I mean, people will ask where to get a ricer rocket like that. By the way: Was the car always sitting that low? I know that the suspension is garbage but I didn't notice that all the springs were cracked when I unloaded it at your shop.. For asking to turbocharge it and convert it to RWD, I get quite a lot! (You make me poor, dude! XD )

While waiting for dxg to finish with the Golf, I made a beefy bullbar for my van out of scrap metal:

I also added a set of high-beams

Bwah! I didn't put those sticker on! That how I got the car! And, yeah, the suspension is just how it was at the start! I just messed with the drivetrain...

I have installed the thyiago version now, so it's alright.
@dxg: thanks! I'll be over right now. You had lunch yet? And do you like pizza? There is a great italian dude who makes awesome pizzas. It's Giovanni's pizza place or something like that. Just hop in my van and I'll take you there (and home afterwards, too of course)
And don't mind the rear tires... They were cracked as hell anyways and I am amazed that they didn't blow when you tried it. Oh, and thanks again for wiring the engine in!

No problem man. I haven't eaten yet, and I've heard of that place. Never been there though. I might even redo the engine in your van for a heavily reduced price! :))

Added 5 minutes later:

Also, I'm considering selling the Z33 (taking the wheels and engine off/out) and buying a Buick Regal T-Type. I've heard their pretty badass, and seeing as how I already know my way around an older Regal (cuz of the racing GNX) I think it could be fun. I also got an offer to trade the MX5 for a 1997 RX7 FD with a 13b rotary. What do you guys think I should do?

No need for that; It'll get a 383 I found in Phoenix. But first the Golf needs to be complete.
I would trade the MX-5 for a RX-7 any day. The Regal sure is cool to cruise around with. That is the reason why my grandpa gave the cuda to me; My dad bought a Buick Regal XD

Edit: BUT the 383 has a lot of miles on it and needs a good overhaul. (Just an overhaul, no tuning; I won't put the van on a drag strip XD )
