Hey guys

Yurisminator and I are pixellers, we both have posted around the site a few times, and we've sat down and had a few goes at some models, any tips and stuff would be awesome, we don't really know what we are doing at all

this is the first thing I've really finished, did it over the course of the day

@mindeliszz thanks :)

@BB

the only issue is when I extruded the sides back so it appeared to be a full object I wasn't able to have a complete backing (if you understand what I'm trying to say) so rather than being a complete 'box' it has not back

Jovi I can't believe that you play SLRR too xD
Remember me? We were friends on PCW :D

Anyway, that 3D steering wheel is sick, I love the render and the wireframe.
So are you still pixelling? Nice to meet you again bro!

hey man yeah i remember, yeah im still pixelling

messing around with making an intake trumpet, maybe make an entire intake manifold too, will have to see tho, would really like to make an entire engine, but not sure what one would be wanted and simple to make

EDIT:

Fixed some bits and bobs, also cant seem to attach the trumpet to the mount to make it one whole mesh, I'llget there but its a pain, do I make it all one group then edit mesh and make all the vertices align and weld? Because whenever i try to do that it take forever because the vertices a little to far apart

Added 6 seconds later:

So past couple of days I've been slowly doing this, one half of a car haha you're welcome to guess the car :D maybe some body part suggestions when it's closer to being done, going to try and do a proper engine bay and stuff but I'll see how bad I am XD haha

Yupp Harrison is right its a BMW 850i :)

I'm really slow, but basic idea on how I'm doing this is making complete basic external body shape then cutting and chopping all the parts out :)

Added 29 days later:

I know theres a really ugly crumple where the trim comes to a stop, but on the actual car the indicator lense is overlapping this, I'll cut it when I have the overall shape done and hopefully this will fix this, I'm really slow at doing this, and I have very little time but I'm enjoying it
