I'm making a traffic mod and I want some cars to have changeable colors but I can't get it to work.

this is the line i'm reffering to

what should I set up my material like so it works? Stanok83's fake racer honda has changeable colors. The regular paintable material does work for this.

it looks like the cfg is referring to some id or a texture.. somewhere in the game, I guess it is texture which = colour.. hard to say tho, haven't messed around with traffic at all.

that's it then.. what you need to do is add extra textures and set those ID's.. it won't be the same as proper racer because the traffic textures are flat with env map on top so you need to take one of the textures from the folder, duplicate it/rename it and change the colour of it..

the traffic racer randomly picks one of the ID's from the cfg which picks a colour from the textures folder.
