I havent found any good tutorial about that...only about rims but car is probably very different.

Yeah I agree with Coprone. People mocking others who ask questions rather than helping them is one of the main reasons why I usually hate these forum type websites. If I had any idea how to mod I would gladly help zgredek. After all that's how people learn isn't it?

Sorry if my comment offended you JC but I'd hate for Vstanced to turn into one of those typical cold forum type websites.

It's not very different RPK and java wise, only thing more difficult compared to rims are the cfg's

ok i dont really know what made you laugh JC but it doesnt matter...so...any more specific help? I know some basics of 3ds max, watched some video tutorials on forgotten garage but they do not cover whole process. For now i have managed to rip a model from forza put it into zmodeler and exported to 3ds

Mind putting up a pic of the car in 3ds? To see the progress of the car :)

because this has been answered a shit load of times but no one bothers to look, no one bothers to read tutorials that are there etc..

if you believe you can go from 0 to hero just like that then you need to re-think your strategy, making a very basic car takes 6-12 hours of time, making a rim takes 10minutes!

rim tutorial is 1hour long and it's not as good as it could be, so why don't you try starting small and learning the very basics of rpk, loading order etc before trying bigger things like cars which are quite complex.

I have answered this question a billion times all over vstanced and other sites.. you DO NOT start with a car the same way you don't start flying a passanger jet when you get your pilots license.

cmon people don't expect everything to be put on plate for you! guys who manage to make rims for SLR find it difficult to figure out cars anyway and you want to just go from "oh derp I've got max installed" to "check out my epic new car"

jeeez... /rantover

Ok you dont get what i mean...i dont think that its gonna be easy and i know that my first mods are going to be shitty as hell and not even 1/1000 as good as yours for example...i know it takes a lot of time to learn that...and if you say so ill start with the rims which are not my main goal but as long as i can learn something from it thats fine

I get exactly what you mean, I'm saying no one is going to hold your hand here and help you out.. put the effort, use the available tuts and learn as much as you can from those and when you know the basics you might be ready to start on a car.

and if you run into problems as you go people will help but putting a bold statement of "here I have a 3d model help me make it happen" is never going to work because teaching someone with 0 experience on how to put a car into SLR is a MAHOOSIVE task that will take hours/days.

How can you be fighting with the loading order if it aint ingame yet? lol

I guess you're fighting with the material application, but that is one of the easiest things. :P

Good luck with it anyways.
With so much drama in the V-S-T, it's kinda hard being Bigg B-O-double-S-ninetythree B)

materials are already done...as you have said its not that hard...whole chasis is paintable also changed windows/glass textures a bit and added chrome here and there bad thing is that i dont have interior for that car and for now its interior is ugly as shit...cutting it in pieces is a bit tricky but ill make it somehow if everything is allright ill give you the rim tomorrow or on tuesday cuz im busy now

Added 2 days later:

And it happened! First chasis exported to slrr...some parts of the chasis are still invisible due to lack of textures
